Dell Studio 15 - A fantastic laptop!

Advantages: Design, Battery Life, Quality, Customisable

...This laptop looks fantastic (I have the black top). Although the lid of the laptop is very easy to get fingerprints over, but they are easily cleaned up. Battery will last for more than 3 hours of just typing, and that's nearly a year after a lot of use as well. The media buttons (volume, eject dvd/cd, play/rewind/fast forward, etc) are touch-sensitive, and work great. They glow a blue colour when touched, which looks great. However, when using the laptop in the dark, it is hard to see the buttons. So you may press eject, instead of turn the volume up! The CD/DVD drive is a slot-drive, and so cds are simply fed in, there is no need to press a button to open it up before inserting. Advantages: Blu-ray, free online, nice extras like vidzone & iplayer. Almost silent operation
Disadvantages: Rubbish controller, still expensive, online nowhere near as good as xbox live

Controllers-Possibly the biggest let-down for me, the triggers are far to easy to slip off & the left analogue thumb-stick is in the wrong place, it needs to be swapped with the D-pad, who uses the D-pad as the priority control these days???? Advantages: Cheap Blu-Ray player, great graphics, free wifi, internet browser
Disadvantages: Expensive, some games are better on 360, 40 GB model doesn't have backwards compatability

(2) Serious gamers either without a HD TV or who are not interested in high def for films etc.. (3) HD TV/ multimedia people who are not that interested in games. ...I got one last year for Christmas and found it to be better than my XBox 360 in almost every area, in my opinion this truly is the best games console on the market and would recommend it to anyone who is into their gaming.
