...I've had my 3100 for over 2 years, and although its still alive, Its been fixed more times than any other phone I've had (bar the 3 phone LGU1820...but thats a different story!). The 3100 was the long needed upgrade to my beloved 3210. The 3210 is built to last, after 5 years it still works...battery runs down quickly but I can drop it off the empire state building and it would still work. The 3100 on the other hand, is a pathetic excuse for a Nokia. As all people know mobile phone companies make the phones easier to break so that we have to spend more money buying a new one every month. The 3100's first problem was that its covers are removable, so they become loose and the catches snap off...meaning no more changing your cover. In fact one of my friends has taken the front cover off completely and uses a toothpick to press... Read review

...The Olympus VN-3100 is known as a Dictation Machine, but I like to simply call it a portable voice recorder. In size it is not very big, thus being portable. It measures in at a length of 10 cm, a width of 3.5 cm and an overall depth of 1.7 cm. The top end of the the device has a depth of 1.3 cm and the bottom end which contains the batteries has a depth of 1.7 cm. The device is made in China, like many things are nowadays. I was not disappointed. This light weight 3.2 million pixel camera is easy to use and has excellent results. ...The nokia 3100, offers a clour screen and a funky keypad as well as polyphoncic ringtones. I have the Nokia 3100 on Vodafone, its a great phone for someone seeking something sleek and simple but i personally would prefer a camera. If you are inlove with this phone but really want a camera as well, look no further the Nokia FUn Camera whcih works as a camera attachment for this phone. Overall, i would reccomend this phone to first-time users who are seeking something seek and simple. I would also reccomend this phone to someone who wants to ake a statment and wants to stand out from the crowd. ...I've had about 8 phones, but i have to say this was by fat the best. I started with a typical brick, then a different brick, and so one... Then i realised that i was the only person in chool with a blacn and white brick... I needed a colour phone back in 2004, and chose the 3100. I was in heaven. This phone had everything i'd grown to love in Nokia phones. it was fast. has loads of storage space. polyphonics, colour, Glow in the dark... You name it, It had it (apart from a camera or blootooth) A marvellous phone. Small, light, durable. It eventually proke when i dropped it from a second story window. It has been stood on, dropped, wet etc. and still worked. I could do everything i wanted to on the phone. ...Nokia 3100 has a colour screen but sadly no camera. Its a good phone to start of with as it is simple to understand as it has no camera but it's colour screen and the screen is pretty good quality. it's a small compact phone easy to put in your pocket. It haws 3 games but you can dowload more as it has internet access. It has pradictive texting and you can send MMS but you can't recieve real pictures very well. It comes in dark blue, light blue, white and red. There are also covers you can buy. it has an alarm clock as well. The phone accepts polyphonic ringtones and you can download those comic pictures. ...friendly and i think i would now struggle to send a text without it! Multimedia messaging is also possible, and if you purchase the camera add on you are able to take your own photos! Although the phone does not have bluetooth which is a great shame, it does have a fantastic built in handsfree system, which is basically where it increases the volume and sensitivity of the mic so you can leave it on the desk to talk and it really does work! The 3100 will store upto 200 contacts on the phone, plus the 90 on a normal sim bringing the total contacts to 290! Unfortunatly i cannot fill that up!! You can show off to your mates with this phone, as it's not only stylish, it also accepts polyphonic ring tones! So no more tryng to guess what on earth the tone is ment to be! ...around the Orange Shop online (am I allowed to say that - it says 'no advertising'?) revealed the lovely Nokia 3100 at £79.99, including text saver free, allowing me to send 5 free text messages a day for a year. I believe this offer has now been replaced with unlimited free text messages every weekend for 6 months. This was perfect for me, so I went ahead and ordered it (on a Monday). It was delivered on Friday. On opening the box, I was very surprised - not only does the phone look alot nicer than it does on the Orange website, it is also a hell of a lot smaller. I don't have the exact measurements, but it does fit nicely in the palm of your hand. It has a nice blue cover with a little bit of white, and there is a strip around the outside of the front cover which glows in the dark, very handy if you are trying to find your phone... ...We bought the Philips DVP3100v DVD/VCR combi as it plays a large range of media types and has a 6 head VCR player with PAL I and PAL B/G which is suitable for UK and Australia. The DVD player does recognize my home movies in divX format (converted from wmv format - Windows Movie Maker files) and standard jpeg photos on CD-R discs - which is great. Unfortunately, we have not managed to make this machine multi-regional despite attempts at the more widely recommended hacks. However, the biggest problem has been the poor quality of VCR playback with some videos virtually unwatchable with flickering black screens enough to frustrate even our four year old. The manual tracking function doesn\'t help and now the Automatic Tracking doesn\'t seem to work (despite pressing \"0\" as the manual suggests). We have no problems with our 10 year old 2...
