...After receiving tons of unsolicited mail from 3 Suisses advertising their latest collections I decided to take them up on their offer of a special welcome discount of £10 and a free bed cover with the first order. I placed my order by telephone at the end of January, paid by Visa card and waited for my order to arrive. They warn you that, as the goods are sent from their warehouse in France, you should allow 28 days for delivery. At the end of February I began to wonder what had happened to my order. I called the helpline and was told that my order had been despatched a couple of weeks previously. I explained that I hadn't received it and they informed me that someone accepted it from the carrier. Reluctantly they agreed to send out another parcel. After a couple more weeks I still hadn't received my goods. I called yet again...

Swiss dark chocolate

...The Coeur de Suisse dark chocolate that I bought on holiday in France. This is a Swiss chocolate. I bought it in a Champion supermarket in France sorry I can not remember how many euros it cost nor find out on line. This chocolate is wrapped in a silver foil then in a dark paper wrapper with pictures of the Swiss mountains. This chocolate is quite a thin chocolate with small rectangular divisions these have lines like a fork/comb has been drawn across it. The taste of this dark chocolate is not over bitter it?s a deep taste one I really like, its sweet but not over creamy like a milk chocolate. It is a sophisticated taste. If I see this chocolate again I would buy it. Calories? Of course it?s got lots its chocolate isn?t it, but I can see no info on this 100g bar about calories. The ingredients are listed: - sugar...

Winter Covert Sniper - Pick off guards from a mile off. Grenade Launcher - This is what every Bond fan wants a nice big launcher to blow everything away. Other weapons include Grenades and flash bangs. The gadgets are worse then the weapons. The first one is the Stunner. Built into your car keys it makes your enemy fall to the ground. Your Laser Watch is the most unlogic thing in the whole game. You can use it to break padlocks made of metal yet you can't kill a person with it or break through walls...

We hired an A/C minibus with driver for £12 a day and he also acted as a guide. This way you can take control of where you go and what you see. At Kandy the Hotel Suisse is colonial and we had the Mountbatten Suite for $56 half board. A lovely hotel with lots of character, good food, a really spectacular lounge and bar and fruit bats with 1metre wing spans in the trees. It was a differnt story nin Colombo where the Galle Face hotel boasts dozens of celebrity guests from the past but is a dirty, crumbling heap. We lasted 1 night there! The Kadelama hotel in Dambulla takes the prize - modern and built into the rocks with spectacular views of the lake, it is all chrome, marble and elegance. A big treat...

...The packaging for this Lindt chocolate bar is covered with distinguished looking things ? There?s the lovely raised gold lettering, with a dragon logo next to the name Lindt; a round seal with the date 1845 (which I take to mean that Lindt, or Lindt and Sprungli, to give them their full name, have been making chocolate since that date - ?Maitre chocolatier Suisse depuis 1845? ? my Swiss is non-existent but at a guess that could mean ?master Swiss chocolate maker since 1845?). So it all looks very indulgent and expensive. The chocolate is made in Switzerland (the company is based in Kilchberg) and imported into the UK ?Excellence? is the description on the pack ? and I?d agree with this, where all things Lindt are concerned. The outdoor pools were too cold to be used by anyone other then seagulls but there were two 'fun' pools with a children's area partitioned by railings. I imagine sun-beds would be short in peak season. I did sun bathe for a couple of hours reading and the area was OK but a bit noisy from nearby traffic. The indoor fitness facilities are a definite strong point for the hotel. A group of Suisse triathletes had based themselves in the Hotel for some serious training. Children's activities (rifle shooting etc.)were posted on the notice board but because of the time of year I never saw any of them taking place. No comment on this subject.
