...I am reviewing SPF 45 not SPF 8 as in the picture, Ciao will not/cannot accept new product proposals at the moment so this seems to be the only way of doing this. I know some of you will gleefully 'jump' on this as being in the wrong place, go ahead, feel free. Surprisingly Ciao also do not ask at the bottom if it is SPF 45, they only go up to SPF 30, c'mon Ciao, sort it out, people are leaving in droves. Never heard of No-Ad products? The ONLY sun protection we use for our children

Advantages: Really does stop your little one's from burning in the sun
Disadvantages: Hard to get hold of

...We started using Bergaderm (previously known as Proderm) when our eldest child was 12 months old, following a recommendation by my sister. I put on my son and wiped my hands down the tops of my arms (to get rid of the excess) and then sat in the garden for an hour or so watching my son playing. Later that night I could feel my left arm (which had been facing the sun) sting with sunburn and when I looked my arm was bright red save for a perfect white handprint! I couldn't work out how it had happened till I realised I'd wipe the excess off on my arms! We have used Bergaderm ever since - on our eldest who is now 9 and on our twins who are 5. One of our twins has red hair and is very very fair skinned and this stuff is fantastic for her as well. We've had 7 med holidays in the last 9 years and using this mousse on holiday...

...It is, I think, a good idea to confront one's prejudices from time to time, and it would be hard to be more prejudiced than I am against The Sun newspaper. I hardly ever see The Sun in the usual way of things, let alone read it, yet if you asked me to describe it I would have no difficulty in trotting out at least a dozen derogatory adjectives, the most polite of which you will see listed as "Cons" in the summary points above. The fact that The Sun is part of Rupert Murdoch's media empire only serves to redouble my bias against it. The Sun - I love 'The Sun' all year round!

Advantages: Great to read, lots of useful sections for the whole family, bargain at 30p!
