Archos 7 (320GB)

Advantages: Light, extra features, good quality, memory, media support.
Disadvantages: Not really any.

... Well it's a touchscrene for a start. It is amazingly easy to navigate, sporting a well-designed title menu. Furthermore, there isn't really an instalation process, it's pretty much just turn it on and off you go. 5/5 Look and Design It certainly looks cool. This actually turns heads when you're using it on a bus or train, and I've even had the odd brave person come over and ask what it is and what it does. 5/5 Range of Features Pretty good, it has: *More memory than you, or at least I, will ever use with 320GB storing up to 400 movies, 3.2 million photos, or 190,000 songs. I mean who gets time to watch 400 movies or listen to 190,000 songs? and as for 3.2 million photos... *A die-hard battery, playing 39 hours music and 10 hours video playback time on a single charge. * Video support for MPEG-4, M-JPEG and even...

The Sun also surprises

Advantages: Successful, professional, knows its market
Disadvantages: Brash, trivial, scurrilous, simplistic, self-congratulatory

...: National Readership Survey), some 49% above the next highest national daily (in this case, the Daily Mirror). Nearly one in five adults in the UK reads The Sun. Although its socio-economic profile tends towards the less affluent end of the market, it still has more readers in the ABC1 group (approx. professional, managerial and white-collar) than any other daily except the Daily Mail. It is particularly popular among young people (22.5% of all 15-44 year olds read The Sun, almost exactly double the percentage reading the runner-up Daily Mirror), and among men (21.8% of all versus 13.6% for the Daily Mirror). Additionally, however, it is still the best-read national daily among women as well as men. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ~ Salient Features ~ Those numbers are formidable. Empire of the Sun

Advantages: Different and really visual
Disadvantages: Hard to appreciate

... Discovery As far as music goes, I love it all, I always find my taste varying as I discover new artists, I love rock, pop, hip hop, old and new, everything. Empire of the Sun is something really different. I discovered them about three or four months ago when one of the songs was played on the radio and I was desperate to hear more. I could not find out who they were and eventually the tune faded from my head, when I then stumbled across the song again I remembered as many words a possible and Googled the lyrics, found out who they were and bought their album from Amazon. Who are they? Empire of the Sun are an Australian duo who formed in 2007 but have only recently started coming out of the woodwork in Britain with some of their songs being played on the radio waves, and also more and more regularly their songs are...

Review of Walking On A Dream - Empire Of The Sun

Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun!

Advantages: The title track is a big hitter, great to see them still in action
Disadvantages: Very patchy quality, just not classic Placebo

...Placebo are a defiantly odd band, and always have been, sitting somewhere between flamboyant glam and angry punk posturing. Surfing in on the tail end of Britpop, they've defied the music press by remaining a going concern for six albums and about fifteen years. Probably, if we're being completely honest, because they've never raised their heads far enough above the parapet of popular culture to burn out like Oasis does every couple of years. Boasting more drummers than Spinal Tap, and the distinctive nasal mid-Atlantic vocals of Brian 'sex pixie' Molko, the band is, in the best tradition of UK middleweight rock groups, huge in Europe, and famous for generating publicity through spats with other bands. One of the most notorious being their run-in with Limp Biskit during a South American tour. But anyway. Battle For the Sun. Sixth...

Review of Battle For The Sun - Placebo

The Sun - I love 'The Sun' all year round!

Advantages: Great to read, lots of useful sections for the whole family, bargain at 30p!
Disadvantages: None

...The Sun is a national newspaper that is sold in England, Wales, Northern Ireland & The Republic of Ireland. It is also printed in quite a few European countries so that most people can get The Sun whilst away on their summer holidays although you normally pay quite handsomely for this privilege! Monday - Friday The Sun is 30p and 60p on Saturday. It is not printed on Sunday as it's sister paper 'The News Of The World' is printed instead. There is lots to the paper such as: Page 3 - Normally a topless girl complete with a little comment on one of the days news articles. Daily News - All the stories from the last 24 hours or so as well as updates on previous stories that they have followed in the paper. Sport - All the latest up to date sports information and this seems to cover everything from racing to football to cricket...

...This is my 100th review!!!!! * What is the sun ? * The Sun is a British Tablod Newspaper availble in The Uk and Ireland. The current editor is Ross Kemp's fiance Rebekah Wade . The Sun began on September 15th 1964. The Sun is published monday to saturday and costs a small price of 35p. The sun includeds news , celebrities , sport , health , entertainment and lots more. * Logo * The Sun logo features a small font of 'THE' in white above a large white font of 'SUN' with a red background. * Features * * Page three * This is page is very well known. Each day it features a topless model. This is perhaps the suggestion that this newspaper is mainly aimed at men. * The Sun Says * This is a column where the sun puts it's view across on news such as the England Football Team and Euro 2008. * Bizzare * This is...

Sun In - The Ups and the Downs

Advantages: Cheap, easy application, gradual build up of colour
Disadvantages: Drying

... A review of Sun In Super What were my reasons for buying this product? Simple - I wanted to be blonde. I had gorgeous honey blonde hair as a child that throughout my awkward teenage years had slowly developed to a dull, medium toned nothing brown colour. It was so uninteresting I always felt I faded into the background compared to my firends whose hair ranged from golden blonde to rich auburn or even luscious strawberry tones. I felt it made me look younger and washed out against my pale skin and desperately wanted a change. But what held me back was the price of going blonde. I had subtle highlights, once, when I was around 13 or 14 but these were a gift from my parents who knew how much I hated my hair yet disapproved of hair dye at that age. I could never afford the £50 that it would cost me every six weeks to maintain...

Battle for the Sun - Needs more cowbell

Advantages: I will always love Brian's voice
Disadvantages: Everything else was largely disappointing

...'t have the same energy as their previous albums, I felt it sounded a bit.... boring. The album showed me nothing new, and after I saw them at the Birmingham Acadey in 03, I felt I'd grown out of them a bit. So I've certainly got nothing to say about Meds. I remember seeing a video and being surprised they were still around, and I thought the song was a bit emo, in a bad way. Battle for the Sun So I haven't heard Battle for the Sun yet. I have low hopes considering that as far as I'm concerned, Placebo's best days are behind them, they had a great run in a time that was suited to them... I'm not sure they really fit in the 'alternative' charts at the moment. Still, I hear they have brought in some trumpets.... and despite my not hearing anything about it until this moment, it has reached no. 8 in the UK albums chart. So, I'll give...

The Sun Best for Big Brother

Advantages: good read
Disadvantages: none

...I think it was 1968 or 1969 that the Sun was first published and at the time it was about the only paper that was doing the page 3 girls. It has now become the nations best selling paper and that more than anything tells you how the Empire has fallen,so what is in The Sun... Well your front page usually a girl on the front to entice us shallow males to buy it with a title like Madonna gets them out for the Band..Then its much the same throughout the paper, taking interesting stories how like a couple have collected 3,000 items of Noddy memorabilia or Sarah Cox telling us she didnt swear on her radio show. You also have some real News items in the paper but only in small amounts, the rest of the paper is for celeb gossip and the girl next girl who runs away with the vicar stories. LittleJohn does do a daily column which I...

Review of The Sun

Here comes the Sun!

Advantages: Cheap, great destinations, freedom of self catering
Disadvantages: extra costs, making sure you choose the right park

...We have just booked a three night break through the Sun Newspaper holidays, this will be the fourth year we have participated and I felt it was a good time to share our experiences. For anyone who has never heard of this scheme, the first step is to collect the different numbered tokens in the Sun Newspaper. First time collectors will need seven tokens, those who have booked before need only six as you will receive a priority booking form shortly before the offer begins. There is also an option to book your break online, but again, this is only for those who have booked before and not all parks are included. Half way through the offer, the newspaper will have a 'pull out' which shows all the parks available, numbered and seperated into areas, little icons show what facilities and entertainment is avaliable and any service charges...
