Witness Bloody Sunday for Yourself

Disadvantages: May be a bit too graphic, not easy movie to watch.

One needs nothing more than this short blurb from the poster (video or DVD box) to tell you the essence of the plot of this movie. Who said SUNDAY night's are boring
Review of ITV - Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned by chunka

Advantages: EVERYTHING
Disadvantages: NOTHING

...Now admit it, Sunday night we're already asleep by 9 or were sat watching a documentary on BBC2 about extict animals! However, WHY? ITV has the well known show 'Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned' being broadcast are silent living rooms at 10.30pm Sunday Night! So why wait up? SIMPLE! This show features two of comedy's most familiar faces, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner. The show contains, a sofa, an audience, a daft picture in the background and 2 very daft people! Unplanned means- Unplanned! They sit on the sofa and start talking about whatever they feel like! It may sound boring but its fappin' hilarious! Last time it showed- they began talking about the women in the front row, the all familiar genitals were mentioned and on the topic followed. SECRETARY? A hard working, hard drinking, angry young man
Review of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning - Alan Sillitoe by PJE_

Advantages: Gritty working-class realism from the 1950's.
Disadvantages: A long way before political correctness.

...while hubby Jack is away. Oh, and Arthur also has it off with Brenda's sister Winnie too. He even goes to Goose Fair with the pair of them while he's also going out with a nineteen-year-old girl called Doreen. And he has the brass neck to describe Nottingham women as "cheeky-daft" gold-diggers! Unfortunately for him, Winnie's hubby is a 'swaddie' in the army... In 1960 a film of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, starring Albert Finney and Shirley Anne Field, was made on location in Nottingham. There is of course one particularly memorable scene in the film which lives long in the memory of an impressionable young Nottingham lad such as myself: the one where Arthur shoots "fat Mrs. Bull" in the cheek. Now, when I say cheek, in the book it is the cheek, whereas in the film... Alan Sillitoe was born in Radford, Nottingham... Read review
