The Sunfire GT Experience

...The Sunfire GT has a 150 horsepowered and 2.4 litre engine. The experience I've had is that the car is affordable and reliable. It is both suitable for young and elderly given its sporty looking shape and its reliability as a vehicle. The vehicle has problems around engine gaskets and acceleration. These problems seem to surface when approaching 65,000-75,000 km useage. Gaskets seem to need repair at least once in the life-time of the car (at a cost of roughly $600-$1000 CDN. There is a constant loss of proper gear switching and acceleration after the car has accumulated kilometers. The handling is also below average, as the vehicle does not round bends at higher speeds very well (or without swearving out of lane). The vehicle also suffers from poor gas consumption (the GT will travel 450km on a 50litre tank) given the small size...

Review of Pontiac Sunfire

Sunfire CRM-2 speakers - A wall of sound

Advantages: great sound, powerful
Disadvantages: must be used with a great sub

...for the center channel until I heard the CRM-2 in my home. I am convinced that a full blown 5.1 (or 7.1) will in my future! I am driving these speakers with a Sony ES4 (100watts per) receiver with very satisfing results. I have heard them demo'd with Sunfire Amps and they become dynamically explosive while retaining inner detail that sometimes has you saying "what was that" when listening to familiar music or movies. I say that I am getting about 90 to 95% of the experience with the Sony but don't lust for the "ultimate" because I am having so much fun with the "experience" of whatever I am listening too or watching!!! I've been into high end sound gear for over 35 years. To much $$$ spent over the years. lol. I consider these an honest bargain at their price point, but like any foundation, you cannot cut corners with the Sub(s) as I described....

Exiles: Volume 6 Fantastic Voyage

Advantages: A return to form, great story arch, Wolverine!
Disadvantages: might not be able to follow without reading the others, a bit sad at the end

...stop them turning everyone into vampires story, but at the end of it, as the exiles are teleporting out, their destinations are disrupted and they are sent of in alternate directions. The second story follows Sasquatch and Morphs adventures being hunted by a wolverine having just escaped out of Weapon X and being a little bit mad. We get a little more origin of Sasquatch and the ending is relatively nice. The third Story follows Nocturne and Sunfire back in the vi lock universe, and for the first time you get to see a universe the exiles have already saved. Things are going great, the two join up with the local heroes, and sunfire begins to make a life for herself in this universe, whilst Nocturne councils against it. (Guess what happens) The final story reunites the exiles at the origin of the fantastic four, only its all gone...

Being 25, driving a 1997 Sunfire Gt and requesting a quote that would cover me $1M liability, $500 comprehensive and collision, I found myself staring at a quote that was over $3500 (CDN). This is only with one minor traffic violation for speeding. Could it be that at 25 years of age, driving a 6 year old car, and an overall clean driving record cost this much?
