Super Show!

Advantages: Teaches letter and word recognition, fun to watch, updates classic stories
Disadvantages: Annoying songs throughout!

I'm happy that Harry favours more of the traditional shows such as Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder and Noddy, but occasionally he stumbles across a more modern show that he falls in love with. Sky television channel Nick Jnr airs an original American show called "Super Why" a few times a day, and its become a regular watch for us, and is often found on our Sky Plus recording list as well! A super book

Advantages: tactile book
Disadvantages: Overlapping bits can be damaged

...The Super sandwich I teach children wioth Special Needs and whenever we are involved in a topic try to find sensory materials, and this includes books. I found this book when we were doing a topic on food, and bought it along with the other book in the series-The Incredible cake. Although the books retail for £5.99, I bought these in a discount bookstore and they cost £5 for the two, so I wasn't complaining. The books thamselves are square shaped, and are therefore easy for little hands to hold. They have a thick and almost padded front and back cover making them instantly appealing for children to hold because they just don't feel like books usually do. The front cover is covered almost entirely with a picture of a slice of bread and behind the front cover, we can see different foods poking out at the top and to the side...

Super Galaxies of Fun

Advantages: Full of fun, especially for children
Disadvantages: Missing some traditional Mario cast-members

Having fun really is the default state when playing Super Mario Galaxy. And that's the key really to making a great game. You can "finish" Super Mario Galaxy, get to an ending, as soon as you collect 60 stars. Super Noodles

...Super noodles are a student must have, when I lived in halls in university I basically lived on Super noodles eating at least one packet a day, I probably put my self right off them because I havent ate them since. The reason I found Super noodles so great when I was living in halls was because they are really easy to make, you just add boiling water and pop them in the microwave, also because they are quick to make takeing just around 5-6 minutes to cook depending on how you like them. Also Super noodles are quite versetile and can go with a range of different foods as part of a meal for example as a side, in between two rounds of toast or they are just tasty on their own as well. Another good thing about Super noodles for students is that they are nearly impossible to burn so you wont waste your time and money on food...

Batchelors Super Noodles: I love the chicken ones best!

Advantages: Great packaging makes them stand out, good price, delicious taste, I love the flavouring.
Disadvantages: High in fat & calories... Oh well!

...I adore Super Noodles and when I saw these on offer, 3 for £1.00 in Tesco recently I just had to buy £3.00 worth of the chicken flavour. There are quite a few flavours available including chicken, chinese chicken, bacon, barbeque beef, sweet & sour, curry etc but chicken is my favourite and always has been. The noodles are provided in a blue foil fresh packet with the Batchelors logo, a picture of some super noodles & the usual nutritional information and ingredients etc. Inside the packet is 100g of noodles and a little silver packet of flavouring (dependant on what pack you've purchased of course). I do not following the cooking instructions precisely on the packet and here is how I make mine: I break my noodles in to four or six pieces and then put them in a bowl, top with cold water & then put in the microwave for around 2...
