...Out of the skies of Sarasaland suddenly there emerged Tatanga. This unknown space monster came to conquer this peaceful world, taking their people under his control and now, he wants to marry Princess Daisy. Yes, Mario has to save another Princess (but also Sarasaland) in what is the first Super Mario game for the Game Boy. To do so Mario must journey through the 4 kingdoms of Sarasaland. A platform game similar to Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Land never did recreate the same level of control as in the NES game. Here he feels a tad sensitive; precision can be a problem as the sprites in the game are small - though this does gives the player (more than) a fair view of the obstacles which lie immediately ahead. Advantages: The best game on the Wii. So far...
Disadvantages: Nothing!

...Well, what can I say? When I heard that Super Mario Galaxy was the next Mario adventure I thought I wouldn't take off but how wrong was I? This game has took Mario to the Centre of the Universe to save his beloved Princess Peach and on islands with Giant screaming Baby plants and to see his evil nemesis again, Bowser. This game has redefined the gaming world with its game controls and its fantastic game play among the set of numerous breath taking graphics. I know Nintendo has dropped some of its graphics to concentrate on the game play in previous Wii games but I always knew that, if they wanted to, they could produce the graphics of such rival consoles, Play station 3 or the Xbox 360. Advantages: Unique gameplay, excellent music, sheer fun

...Mario is ice cream. Sometimes people like cake (Halo), and some people prefer cheese and crackers (Gran Turismo), but everybody always loves ice cream. The question is though, as infamously asked by Craig David - what's your flava? I'm more than willing to admit that Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World are fantastic games and I love them to bits, and technically they're so much better than Super Mario Land, but this Game Boy classic is incredible. I loved it when it was all I played on the Game Boy, I loved it when I bought a second copy ten years later and played it on my Game Boy Advance. Why do I love it so? Let me count the ways. ...Just about every company which has been on the go for years, we are talking about Thirty years, Twenty years or even older, have released their old games on to new consoles, hoping to gain both money and respect. They might get money from older gamers, who just adore horrible emulations of arcade classics like Marble Madness, Paperboy or Pac-Man (Who has been on just about every console to date), but they don't get respect. ...*A review of Super Mario All-Stars for SNES.* Before I bought Super Mario All-Stars for the SNES I already had Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES - two of the four 2D platform games which have been enhanced for this collection. With Super Mario All-Stars I got to play the two Super Mario Bros. 2 games on console - one of them being Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels which was not released outside of Japan. As Super Mario All-Stars was one of the earlier collections of video game remakes it would have seemed irresistible at the time considering the original games were less than 10 years old, so there was perhaps no need for extras. Of note, only Super Mario Bros. 3 offers simultaneous 2 player action through a decent enough battle mode. There are not surprisingly, numerous changes in the games here and there over... ...Finally, the game all wii owners have been waiting for, and it doesn't dissapoint, Super Mario Galaxy is possibly one of the greatest video games of all. You can't not love it, whether your a hardcore gamer or a child. The story starts in a fairly familiar way Bowser kidnapps Princess Peach and Mario sets out to save her. However from then on Mario needs to travel into different galaxies to collect power stars, which allow Rosalina to see further on into the universe. This continues until Mario has ollected enough power stars so Rosalina can see Bowser in the centre of the universe. When you travel to a galaxy they are a joy to explore you jump from tint planets to other tiny planets where the gravitational forces pull you in. ...*A review of Mario Kart 64 for the N64.* Anyone who regards Mario Kart 64 to be the superior game to Super Mario Kart is wrong. There, I said it. Mario Kart 64 allows for four players to play simultaneously, but I'd much rather take it in turns to play Super Mario Kart. I prefer the handling in Super Mario Kart. When turning in this game, the carts have a tendancy to slide. There are inconsistancies amongst the collisions in this game. Data is saved to the cartridge of Mario Kart 64, but pretty much a single memory pak is required to save ghosts! The use of sprites for the characters and sprites was disappointing - they almost look out of place with their 3D environments. The draw distance is not exactly great either. Audio-wise, the character cries can be a bit much. It's not difficult to get gold cups for all competitions on Grand... Read review

...Mario Cart for Super Nes. got to be one of the all time games all though everyone else used to kick my butt at it. I loved it. I never owned a Snes instead I opted for the big rival Megadrive by Sega. I still loved Mario Cart even though I did not own one. There was another great game for the snes which was a Japanese game about two characters that went into shops and played games!!! i know this sounds weird but it is an all time classic that I have never seen on another format. I cant even remember the name of the game now. All I remember was it was two peoples names and they were Japanese. I loved Muper MarioLand and I was superb at it. I had it for the Gameboy too so that helped!!!... Read review

...The super nintendo is a great console with many classic games such as the amazing super mario kart,the game is very exciting and tense.you can choose between eight differant characters Mario,Luigi,Bowser,Toad,Princess,Kooper,Donkey Kong,Yoshi.People say Kooper is the best but i believe that Yoshi is the best as he is much easier to handle and quite fast.The console is probaly the 5th best console behind Playstation 2,Playstation,Dreamcast and N64.Nintendo have also made N64,Nintendo NES and Gamecube.The great thing about the super NES is the the Super Gameboy which allows you to play gameboy games on your super nintendo and T.V.Other games include Starwing,Super Off Road,PGA Tour Golf,Super Mario World,Super Soccer,Street fighter 2,Desert Strike,Mickey Mania and Fifa 97.So if your looking for a good console for not much money I would...
