PS3 slim

Advantages: Blu-ray, free online, nice extras like vidzone & iplayer. Almost silent operation
Disadvantages: Rubbish controller, still expensive, online nowhere near as good as xbox live

...Well, had the slim for a few weeks now (my 1st ever playstation), personally, I'm a little underwhelmed by it, I've been a gamer since the nintendo game & watch days & owned @ least 1 of the current gen consoles since the Mega Drive(Genesis). Graphically the system has the potential to wipe the floor with the 360, but this is really only going to apply to PS3 exclusives as any software house making a multi-platform game is going to be as cost effective (lazy) as possible & use the same graphics on all the games where possible(ok, they need to dumb them down for the Wii). My problem here is that I have yet to get a game for it that runs in 1080P, they all seem to be in 720P! Why???? I'm sure they are out there, but I haven't found one yet. I guess this is down to most HD tv's being HD ready rather than Full HD. Sound-Yeah, ok...

The PSP Slim does not have a touch screen. it is essentially the old PSP with a few a few minor changes.These are the changes: It can store game data in the cache so the PSP doesn't consistently have to access the UMD, which speeds up load times. The UMD drive is no longer the springloaded type, and is now like a drawer. The memory stick panel is now a pull-out area. The Slim has video out, and and transmit video to a TV. ...It got to thestage where I had to do something about my weight. I had finished working, and got a bit lethargic at home all day, hence the weigt piled on. I saw an ad for Slimming World in the local shop, and it was held just along the road from where live. I plucked up courage and went along to the group, on the Tuesday evening. I was welcombed warmly by everybody, and listened to the introductory talk. It all souded very good, but a little unbelievable. They were saying that you could lose 4/7 pounds a week!! I needed to lose 3 stone, and if that was the case, it wouldn't take too long to get it off. So I joined, and the following week, lo and behold lost 6 lbs. Amazing. Advantages: Excellent choice in food
Disadvantages: £4.50 per week and a £10 joining fee

...I have been a memeber of slimming world since september 2007 and i am still attending every wee which for me is an achievement in itself. Slimming world is a slimming club that you pay a weekely fee to attend this fee is £4.50 which can become quite expensive but they do offer count down packages where you pay for your weeks in advance and can get weeks for free. For me i joined slimming world after I gained lots of weight after having my son and also through a diet of mainly high fat, high sugar foods which i am now not ashamed to admit. Life for us was pretty much one big takeaway so in september I decided that I needed to do something about it so off i went to my local group in Barry.
