A Sports Elixir for Super-human performance

Advantages: Effective - it really does give you a boost of energy, tastes good for an isotonic drink, replenishes lost electrolytes
Disadvantages: Expensive, probably bad for your teeth, contains artificial sweetener aspartame

...and Acesulfame K, I personally accept that they are used to help make the drink taste better, but the fact the drink contains these two additives may put the truly health conscious off. If cost is an issue in buying Lucozade sport, then the best suggestion I can offer is too look at powdered isotonic drinks such as Isostar which is less effective but more economical. The only solution I can suggest to the other two problems with the product is to forget about performing like a super-human and drink water. To conclude, I think that Lucozade sport is probably the best tasting and most effective isotonic drink around at the moment. If you are into sports and want to perform like a super-human or just like a human, then I can highly recommend trying Lucozade sport....

Diamond review  Wii Resort For Island Sports

Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory
Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games

...INTRODUCTION Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since. WHAT?S IN THE BOX WSR comes packaged with the game (in its own DVD...

Island of Sporting Desire

Advantages: Three or four really great sporting games
Disadvantages: The need to 'calibrate' Wii Remote

...Let the games Begin... As a game which came free with the Wii console, 'Wii Sports' had little to prove - a title designed to show off the ingenious controls of the new machine, which at times meant that it felt like a bit of a glorified tech-demo. The sequel 'Wii Sports Resort' is tied in with the release of MotionPlus - the little white box that plugs into the bottom of the Wii controller, offering much more accuracy and finesse of controls - but does the game make the most of the new technology, or is it a missed opportunity? Set on the tropical island of 'Wuhu', Sports Resort allows you to compete in twelve different sporting disciplines, each one designed to push your skill and co-ordination to the max. In this review, I'll take a look at each of the sports, whilst briefly explaining and summarising my feelings towards them...

super citi sport!

Advantages: you can push it anywhere!!
Disadvantages: can be too small for older children

...I am now onto my second citi sport! I had one for my first child a few years back when they where new out and wouldn't want anything else for public transport! I use buses on a regular basis and needed something which folded with one hand. And it does this very well, once you have got used to the procedure. And another plus, it stands up without having to lean it against a wall etc. Ideal for standing at bus stops! It is also really lightweight to get on public transport. One problem with the citi sport is it's small size. It's a little too small for the older child. When my daughter was 3 it was a problem getting her in and out of it., though she was comfortable once in. I think it's the non removable bumper bar causing this. The basket is also fairly small so even though this is a shopping stroller it hasn't much space...

Diamond review  Wii should go to the Sports Resort!...

Advantages: Good for all the family, Great fun, Entertaining, Something to do on a rainy day
Disadvantages: Expensive

...on the screen. The motion plus remote is just as easy to use as the normal Wii remote. In my opinion it increases the excitement in the game, because no one can blame their remote anymore, if they lose in a game! Price and Where You Can Buy Wii Sports Resort from We bought this amazing, super fun new game from Argos, and I think it was around £50 at the time we bought it. I must admit I think this is very expensive for a game, and the only reason we bought it was because we had some Argos vouchers so it actually worked out quite cheap. I have just checked on the Argos website, and right now it is on offer on Argos.co.uk for £39.99 which I think is still quite expensive for a game. It is also £39.99 at the moment on Game.co.uk, and according to their website it is a top seller. From both places the Wii sports resort comes...

Wii Sports Resort- Fun for the whole family

Advantages: fun forf whole family, lots of games, sensitive controls
Disadvantages: expensive extra devices needed for multi-player

...Since its release for retail purchase in 2006 the Nintendo Wii has enjoyed immense success. One of the key reasons for this is probably that it reaches a wider demographic than the majority of games consoles and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Wii sports resort, released as a kind of improvement on wii sports was released in july of this year, and is no exception, providing entertainment for people of all ages, and has the potential of being enjoyed by the whole family. Wii sports is set on a island beach resort, and allows the playing of a number of different games, either as a single player or for up to four players. The game requires an additional device in the form of wii motion plus, which is a more sophisticated sensing device than the regular wii remote, and is able to pick up more complicated and sensitive movements when...

Get active at Wii Sports Resort.......for a price!

Advantages: fun to play with family and friends, lots of game choices, some really fun games, multiplayer
Disadvantages: very expensive, some potentially boring games, not as well designed as it could be.

...Wii Sports Resort was my youngest brothers birthday present but for the purpose of research I decided to try it out myself. The game is for the Nintendo Wii and has a whopping recommended retail price of £49.99 although it is currently selling on Amazon for £39.99. This price includes the game and a ?Wii Motion Plus?. The Wii MotionPlus This is an accessory which attaches to your Wii Remote to enhance its motion sensing capabilities. It detects and reproduces your movements in the game, so whether you are playing basketball or doing some archery, every little movement you make is accurately portrayed in the game. The Wii MotionPlus is essential for game which is why it is included but its inclusion automatically makes the game a pricey one which is a bit of a shame. Whilst you only need one Wii Motion Plus for single...

Super Mario Bros on the Wii

Advantages: Great team playing ability
Disadvantages: None as of yet.

...This game is a timeless classic which has constantly been revised to keep it going. The New Super Mario Bros. Wii has captured all the quality of previous Mario Bros. It captures the sheer simple pleasure of running and jumping; all can be done easily with a d-pad and two buttons. The game play takes a little getting used to but once mastered its great fun. There is also the ability to share it with up to three pals. The first time a Mario game has offered proper co-op play. Keeping the play confined lends the game a more studious approach. What would be a comfortable dash with one player takes on a new light with extra players, encouraging you to work together and carefully negotiate each obstacle to keep your team?s life stock up. It is, for all intents and purposes, the very definition of a co-operative game. That...

Review of New Super Mario Bros. (Wii)

Better than Wii Sports, but still leaving room for improvement

Advantages: Many more good events than Wii Sports. Great use of the Motion Plus for realistic control.
Disadvantages: Too many filler events; only a couple of sports strong enough to stand up on their own right.

...; there's also now a back nine to make it a full course. However, it's no Tiger Woods, and with the latter now supporting Motion Plus too, it's only something that could be recommended to the casual golfers out there. *** Wakeboarding - Water skiing with tricks. Fun to start with, although a very limited game once you've figured out how to pull off most of the individual tricks. ** Power Drifting - Slalom on a jet ski. Again, it's fun for the first few times as well as being a nice bit of eye candy, but there's just not enough depth to continually engage the player. ** Canoeing - The paddling is fairly realistic, and you need to continually swap sides to keep in a straight line, but once you've hacked your way around the single course a few times that's pretty much it. ** Air Sports - A mixture of three events, skydiving, flying...

A Super Food.

Advantages: Quick and Easy
Disadvantages: Some are nice others are bland.

...Batchelors Super Noodles The less you eat whilst working nights the better. So as a long time shift worker these are just perfect. Until a few weeks ago you could pick up 3 packets for a £1 at Tescos but now they have hiked up the price to 3 for £1.20. A 20% increase! They come in several flavours; Barbecue Beef (Very Tasty), Mild Curry (V.T), Chicken (V.T), Thai Curry (V.T), Spicy Salsa (V.T), Southern Fried Chicken (V.T). Bacon (V.T), Mushroom (Plain), Spaghetti Bolognese (Plain) Chow Mien (Plain), Sweet and Sour (Bland), Balti (Bland), Tex Mex (Bland), The taste varies and there are some that I found Very Tasty, Plain to quite Bland but in general most of the various flavours are very tasty. Cooking them could not be simpler, Just open the packet, pop it in a pan with a mug of water and cook until...
