I'm happy that Harry favours more of the traditional shows such as Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder and Noddy, but occasionally he stumbles across a more modern show that he falls in love with. A super book

...The Super sandwich I teach children wioth Special Needs and whenever we are involved in a topic try to find sensory materials, and this includes books. I found this book when we were doing a topic on food, and bought it along with the other book in the series-The Incredible cake. Although the books retail for £5.99, I bought these in a discount bookstore and they cost £5 for the two, so I wasn't complaining. The books thamselves are square shaped, and are therefore easy for little hands to hold. They have a thick and almost padded front and back cover making them instantly appealing for children to hold because they just don't feel like books usually do. The front cover is covered almost entirely with a picture of a slice of bread and behind the front cover, we can see different foods poking out at the top and to the side...

Batchelors Super Noodles: I love the chicken ones best!

Advantages: Great packaging makes them stand out, good price, delicious taste, I love the flavouring.
Disadvantages: High in fat & calories... Oh well!

...I adore Super Noodles and when I saw these on offer, 3 for £1.00 in Tesco recently I just had to buy £3.00 worth of the chicken flavour. There are quite a few flavours available including chicken, chinese chicken, bacon, barbeque beef, sweet & sour, curry etc but chicken is my favourite and always has been. The noodles are provided in a blue foil fresh packet with the Batchelors logo, a picture of some super noodles & the usual nutritional information and ingredients etc. Inside the packet is 100g of noodles and a little silver packet of flavouring (dependant on what pack you've purchased of course). I do not following the cooking instructions precisely on the packet and here is how I make mine: I break my noodles in to four or six pieces and then put them in a bowl, top with cold water & then put in the microwave for around 2...
