Review of Skoda Superb 1.8 20v Turbo Saloon

Superb!

Advantages: GPS, 5mp Digital Camera, Wi-fi
Disadvantages: Price

...features that I love best is the Integrated GPS, although it's nothing in comparison with TomTom Devices, it's great for street navigation and if you're willing to pay the extra money for the additional "Voice Guided Navigation" for the car, then it's ideal! The 5 Mega Pixel camera is superb, Infact I've even sold my "Sony 8 Million Pixel Camera" on eBay because I thought the camera quality on the Nokia N95 was so superb, even when uploaded to the Computer. Integrated Wi-fi is an excellent feature, especially when you're on the go! If you either have a wireless network and need to read you're mail, or browse a site without running up those bills using the standard WAP/GPRS, then I can highly recommend this phone to you! This phone is fantastic in every aspect, you couldn't ask for nothing no better! I do recommend in investing in a 2GB Micro...

The super Superb

Advantages: Large, roomy , powerful, well equipped

...I've driven the latest Passats, the Citroen C5, had a go in Primeras - and now Im in a Skoda Superb. I can't believe my company car is a Skoda. Interior - very large - loads of legroom front and back. At night the dash is well lit - with a snazy red interior light that gives a faint glow - like a submarine at night. Well laid out controls - column volume/track controls ; cruise control. Loads of storage - some of it with air con to keep things cold !. Exterior - bit Passat looking I agree - but also very distinct. Its longer wheelbase than a Passat. Low profiles keep it well on the road. Power - 130Bhp - more than enough. Brisk acceleration and real problems keeping to the speed limits. I tow with this vehicle - excellent - as the Caravan Club found. Fuel consunptions about 46mpg (after 4000+ miles - town / country...

Superb

...These headphones have powerful bass and a smooth treble. They are perfect for any kind of music. The 6.3mm adapter and 3 metre long wire make the headphones great for DJing (which is what I use them for). They are fully adjustable to fit your head plus they are light and comfy. The weight and padded earpads sometimes make you forget the fact that you are actually earing headphones. They also look stylish and classy. They are also very affordable making them superb value for money at around £15 a pair. The main disadvantage is that they are not fully able to block outside noise when compared to high end sennheiser and bose but still block out the majority. They still perform brilliantly. Overall these are a pair of truely outstanding headphones and definately top in their price range....

Aptly named. Truely Superb

...I am now on my second Superb, having covered 118,000 miles in my first car (130TDi Comfort). The interior of the car is massive with rear leg room approaching limousine standards. It is extremely well built beating the similar (but smaller) Passat on build quality. The car has a magic carpet ride with the ability to smooth out even the most pothole ridden roads. Don't believe the road test summarys in the monthly magazines either. I have yet to see a full test of one but the reputation that they have given it for poor handling and roadholding is simply not true. The Superb sticks like glue. Roll is not too bad so it doesn't lurch about all over the place as some reports say. The traction control is excellent. It still allows enough wheelspin to keep the turbo spinning. Can you get footstools for the rear seats?

Advantages: Huge interior. Refinement. Build quality. Equipment level. Economy. Umberella standard kit!.

.... That has not explained why having rear wheel drive should "shrink" it I hear you say. Well, quite simply there are fewer mechanical bits and pieces to mount behind the wheels, a rear wheel drive car should offer you a far better steering lock - which the Omega certainly did, it parked in spaces many a smaller car just could not turn into. On the day I returned to work following our return from our Polish summer holiday, I discovered amongst the huge pile of (mostly) junk mail on my desk a set of very smart looking Skoda brochures. ...I bought the Canon G10 in October because I wanted something I could just put into the car glovebox and get out if I saw something I needed to take quickly. I was not disappointed one little bit at all. The Canon G10 has superb features and is very very easy to use indeed. It has many many advanced features that even the amatuer photographers could get to grips with no sweat at all. The screen to view is large and more than adequate. If you want a camera that is point and shoot then go for something a bit cheaper without that little something extra which this definitely has. You will not be disappointed at all to own of these fantastic cameras. Photos turned out crystal clear....
