Superclub Breezes - heaven on earth

...In September 02 me and my now husband Nick went on holiday to the Bahamas to get married. We went for two weeks for fun in the sun, and thats exactley what we got. The hotel we stayed at was fantastic! Our hotel was SUPERCLUB BREEZES on Cable Beach. It was situated right on the beach (which was private) but the main road right outside took you straight into nassau - there was a bus literally ever minute and it was onle $1 flat fare! This hotel had everything you would want to do - that you could do - all in an extremely relaxed and friendly atmosphere! These included: Basketball Volleyball Water Volleyball Tennis Rockclimbing Trapeze Trampolining Bike rides Pool Board games Windsurfing Kayaking Sailing Motorised sports (these were not included in holiday package) 2 Pools - and a Jacuzzi also (including poolside...

The newest superclub in the UK

Advantages: Fantastic sound system and friendly staff.
Disadvantages: It's a long way for me to travel.

Advantages: Fashionable club, large, good DJ's and music
Disadvantages: Suffers from the same fate as other clubs i.e. a lot of people there are big heads, expensive drinks, toilets in unfit state towards end of night

...You'd expect a pretty well made mag, this being the official on-paper version of the Ministry of Sound super-club. And it is. It's journalistically good, and well made. But to be honest, it find it doesn't really satisfy me as a dance music magazine. It does run some good features on occasion, and you get a few shots of bare-chested beauties, but I have never been compelled to buy it for a feature or special article or interview. No, what I buy it for is the free cover mounted CDs, which are of a great standard. At least, they were. Back about a year or two ago, you could find one CD every 3 months or so, and they were awesome. But these days, they come on nearly every issue, and the content has certainly suffered for it. ...Many people were surprised when this album was released. Known primarily as a techno DJ with a penchant for Northern Soul and Motown, Holmes was an international DJ without the superclub tag and very little in the way of production credits. Yeah, he had the odd single remix for St Etienne, but nothing as bold as a full-blown album. What was even more surprising was the style of the music that Holmes' had produced. With members of Sabres of Paradise as his musical impetus the Belfast born techno head delivered one of the 1990's most evocative and atmospheric albums. Do you really escape with Escapades

Advantages: Cheap, takes you to lots of bars/clubs
Disadvantages: Pushy reps, trips that are easily forgettable!!

...cracked up to be. To be fair, it started off alright, as they hired out a club until midnight for party games and a hypnotist. We were then supposed to go to one of the superclubs for a popcorn party. However, they omitted to tell us that on the way, we would be stopping for a couple of hours at a small, horrible little club - a lot of people including us, just walked out and went to the superclub on our own steam. Regarding the accommodation. I think that it is really pot luck, because on my first holiday with them, the hotel was appalling and I?m quite sure was a health hazard, whereas the second one was clean and tidy - even if it was next to the biggest nightclub on the island! HOME IS HOMELESS

...IT WAS ALWAYS GONNA HAPPEN. the most expensive club closed down due to drugs. there has been no complaints as you can't walk around in that place without having drugs offered to you. As a student I havent been there too many times but have sampled a few of the different nights. The first was early on when we went to the student night. The Bouncers were not very friendly and I didn't really appreciate the grilling we got about what kind of music we were into etc before being allowed in. Many of the floors were closed which added to the dissapointment. However, the student night although a bit pricey was a success and beat many of the other superclub's supposedly student nights. Luckily, through club connection I managed to get a couple of free tickets to go on a saturday. This was excellent. The people, music and all round...
