VFR 400 NC24 Honest review!

Advantages: Engine,handling,sound.
Disadvantages: collector box, charging circuit,parts availability.

The tank is fairly small in its capacity, allowing about £10 of petrol (at 1 quid a litre) but has a very easy to use reserve/on/off tap, sounds stupid but the last thing you want is running out on the fast lane of the motorway and having to fiddle for ages trying to switch to reserve as is the case on a lot of bikes!) The seat is comfortable enough allthough you probably wont be to happy after more than 150-200 miles! The rear seat is not a good place to sit! my girlfriend hates it with a vengange, its hard, uncomfortable, slopes down and just isnt nice! Engine is an absolute peach! a fantastic V4 unit! a fair amount of low down grunt (for a 400!!!) and screams like a banshee all the way to 13,000 rpm, the sound is very unique as the nc24 has gear driven cams as opposed to chain or belt like...

VFR400 nc24 nothing too far off a dream

Advantages: speed, handling, price
Disadvantages: age, import

...hondas and the after market ones are spot on. the only reason this bike gets bad reviews are because they brought out a newer model (nc30) that is lighter, better power and has a better exhaust setup. but still for half the price i settled for the nc24. as long as you buy a reasonable milage and well kept nc24 you will have no problems. check the exhaust! this will be the money looser if not in good cond. parts are difficult but being old there cheap and many are being broken for spares....

dyson dc24 not as good as i would have thought

Advantages: small, good for small spaces, easy to store
Disadvantages: suction not up to par

...I purchased this dyson having owned a dyson for many years, and then my new puppy decided to chew any chewable parts that it had, so opted to buy a new one. Now initially my mum had went and bought me a miele hoover, which was not an upright or bagless but the suction is apparantly superior, but i prefer an upright and when i tried to vacuum my rugs with the miele, i decided an upright would be the less physically demanding cleaner for me, which is always important to a busy mum and housewife. I searched the net and found one on cdiscount for £179.99 which was on offer at the time, so i went ahead and bought it and looked forward to receiving it. I chose this one instead of the dc24 as i have a lot of stairs in my house and the smaller size appealled to me as not being as heavy as a larger one, would be easier to take around...

Xtra hassle

...It's gone. Gone! Oh, woe is me! My lovely, shiny l'espion Xtra has been returned to the shop, and I am one very angry consumer. Here's why. The Xtra is the newer, bigger brother of the tiny l'espion digital camera. It is not quite as dinky as its predecessor and the larger lens protrudes slightly instead of lying flush with the surface, but the difference is one of millimetres (the exact dimensions are a minuscule 60 x 40 x 15mm) and it weighs about the same, ie not very much at all. Most importantly, image resolution is now a maximum of 800 by 600 pixels. That's still nowhere near the standard of a regular digital camera but a huge improvement on the l'espion's rather puny 352 by 288, which made it more of a novelty than a serious piece of equipment. Eight megabytes of memory mean it can store over two hundred high...

Advantages: One of the best seasons of the series. be prepared to be shocked
Disadvantages: Other priorities in life with become secondary while watching

...Season 5 of the award winning series 24, was first aired back in 2006 and was mostly known for its shocking and explosive first episode. When mini trailers of hour 1 went around sky, i tried to switch over every time but to no avail, i caught something and i was hooked in. Normally id prefer to watch the episodes on dvd so i can watch as many as i like but my girlfriend at the time had sky plus so she recorded the whole series. After getting through 9 hours of it we broke up, not anything to do with 24 don' worry, therefore i had seen nearly half of the series and then had to wait for the dvd release to continue watching. Only once have i done this, never again. Wait for the dvd, its worth it. Anyway, this season is one of my favourites as it doesnt hold back on the storylines and shock factor plus provides probably the best ending so...

24: Redemption

...Before I start this review I just need to get one thing off my chest, Jack Bauer is my hero! I've watched every series of 24 so far and have loved each one (some more than others) so when I heard that there was going to be a 'film' I couldn't be more excited. 24 : Redemption is a bridge between the events of series six and series seven. The producers/writers felt that this was necessary to fill the huge gap between series due to the recent writers strike. 24 is normally set out in one hour episodes which are shown in 'real time', that is, one hour long episode represents one hour of the shows storyline. Its an interesting concept that really does work very well. I met the news of 24 : Redemption with interest, excitement, intrigue but also apprehension. How well would this idea work as a 'film'? ...Travels with my 400D I’ve been putting off writing this review for months and months. I’ve been waiting until I know just about as much about the camera as I possibly can, but I’ve come to the conclusion that this will never happen, so I’m just going to do it. It may also have to do with the fact that term ended on Tuesday, I have a massive amount of revision to do, and I’m procrastinating. 24 - Season One

Advantages: Great acting, exciting, good effects
Disadvantages: Not really 24 hours! Slower paced than newer seasons

...I'd somehow managed to completely avoid watching a single episode of 24 right up to the current season (7). I'd seen the adverts but it was completely not my thing. I hate movies like that, and I hate TV shows along the same lines even more. For some reason I decided to give season 7 a go as so many people were looking forward to it coming back on - and, much to my annoyance, I got completely hooked and ended up buying all the boxsets so I could catch up. I ended up watching the entire set of season one in two days. It is completely, ridiculously, compulsive. About half way through every episode I would be fed up with having not moved in so long and would want to go and do something else, but then by the end of the episode my thoughts would change to, "Well...one more won't hurt." So, what's different about 24 from other...
