Easy as 1, 2, MP3 through your car stereo
Review of Lyromedia Car Cassette Adaptor by
kathryn.rosling
Advantages: Your full catalogue of music in the car
Disadvantages: none
...with it a bit longer. Unfortunately again the car only had a cassette recorder in the stereo. This is very restrictive in terms of musical enjoyment as tape cassettes are relatively poor quality and only carry a small number of tracks. It really is amazing just how used to having all the music of a 6 cd changer, and boy do you miss it when it is not there. What to do..........
Well I found a product on ebay that on the surface of it was the answer. It purported to transfer the music from your MP3 player to the car stereo with no loss of sound quality. It was a tape cassette with a stereo jack lead and plug leading off it. You simply place the cassette in your car stereo and the jack plug in your MP3 player. Set your car stereo to play the tape and bobs your uncle............................
Mp3 sound quality and choice out of your car speakers...

Good replacement speakers
Review of Infinity 605cs Component Speaker System by
MartinImber
Advantages: Sound Quality
Disadvantages: Not very sensitive, crossover difficult to fit
...Firstly these speakers are known by various names, but they are basically the 6 1/2" or 165mm fit component speakers from Infinity.
eg REF605CS or REF6500cs are two other names used.
These are the cheaper component - the Kappa range are more expensive, but look very similar.
Prices are generally between £90 and £120 I paid just under £100 including carriage from an internet reseller.
The speakers came with a large amount of fitting accessories, including grills and tweater flush mount kits, I needed very little of this as I was replacing original fit speakers in a Vauxhall Omega - which were burnt out.
Other things I needed were Vauxhall to 6 1/2" speaker adaptor kits, self adhesive pads, wire and a lot of time.
There are not many instructions as fitting speakers is different in every car, I had to use the Haynes manual...

A Classic - Just Like The Cars
Review of Mount Wolsley Golf and Country Club by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: Magnificent golf course. Magnificent hotel. Magnificent facilities. In short, simply magnificent.
Disadvantages: Not a thing!
...Wolesley motor cars. (Anyone remember them? I certainly do, as the first car I ever owned was a 1959 Wolesley 15/60, an ex-police car that I purchased for £67.50 way back in 1968!)
The Wolesley family home (the Manor) which dates back 150 years is still on the estate, and is now open to the public. But the grounds have now been turned into a golf course that is the equal of any other parkland course in the country, and I include the likes of the K-Club in Straffan (venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup match) and Mount Juliet in Co. Kilkenny when I make this assertion.
Rolling terrain, with many natural falls and rises, large mature trees, and lakes have all been incorporated into the golf course, and where mother nature didn’t supply the necessary level of difficulty, then Christy O’Connor and his design team have stepped in and given her a helping...

Fusion EN-CM525 Component Car Speakers
Review of Fusion EN-CM5250 by
podge9989
Advantages: Good value for money, Good sound quality, You get everything you need
Disadvantages: Tweeters can be slightly delicate (so use supplied cross-overs)
...What you get:
1 x pair of 13cm fusion woofer
2 x Grills
1 x pair of fusion tweeters
2 x cross-overs
Speaker wire
These are the set of speakers which you get with the fusion '4 corner package' (EN-4CNR). I have installed both the woofers and tweeters into the doors of my vauxhall corsa and the sound quality compared with the old factory standard ones is by far a big improvement. I am not using the provided cross-overs purely because they are rather large and secondly my car already has cross-overs in the door.
Sound Quality:
Originally I had some pioneer 13cm coaxiles which I was very disapointed with as they didn't even seem to be as good as my old standard speakers. When I purchased these I wasn't expecting too much from them to be honest. Like with the 6x9's which I also got in the package I have actually been rather...

Mounts Bay Waters Apartments..A 5* experience!
Review of Mounts Bay Waters Apartment Hotel, Perth by
scarletuk72
Advantages: Very close to Perth city, stunning views, ultra modern......
Disadvantages: Room service got you up far too early!
...but which are easy to nip into until you have been to reception and checked in.
There are two reception areas located at either end of the village, now this was a gamble as to which one to go to, as it was, we went to the wrong one for the particular apartment we were staying in, but were politely sent in the direction of the other.
The reception staff were very friendly and dealt with our check in efficiently and quickly...quite unusual for OZ as they are usually on go slow all the time - and that is not a complaint or criticism as i quite like that whole laid back "no worries mate" kinda feel.
Once checked in you are handed your key which is more like a security card really as they are very security concious at Mounts Bay. The key is programmed to access your assigned car park area, building entrance door and lift, yes lift, you...

Safer calling in the car
Review of Sony Ericsson HCB-100 Bluetooth Car Speakerphone by
darren0710
Advantages: Easy to set up and use, small unintrusive unit
Disadvantages: No caller ID screen
...I rarely use my phone to make calls in the car but have missed important calls whilst driving and so I wanted to find a simple solution to being able to pick up my calls in the car.
This bit of kit is excellent. No ear piece, no wires and no holes in your dashboard. The unit simply clips onto the sun visor and the microphone flips down when needed. The unit is very small and doesn't feel like it's 'looming over your head' in any way and is easily removable for when you leave the car.
In terms of set up, it couldn't be easier. It simply switches on and links to your mobile phone through bluetooth. Once paired, the unit will automatically connect to your phone when you switch it on so you can leave the phone in your bag / pocket and the unit will still be functional.
The quality of calls is very good. The speaker is excellent...

Speakers
Review of Pioneer SV-310-QL Home Cinema Speaker System by
iheartkids
Advantages: Good
Disadvantages: Not many
...I brought my set of tannoys 15 months ago and, at the time, they cost £300.Now,with a little searching around, they can be obtained for under £200.
What you get in the box is five satellite speakers(two front, two rear and a centre speaker) plus a seperate powered subwoofer.
You also get wall mounted supports for the two front and two rear speakers and all the speaker cables(i changed the cables to 79 stand q.e.d. speaker cable to improve the sound).
Setting up the system is relatively easy:you just need an electric drill for the the wall mounted stands and once fitted, you just connect the cables to your home cinema amp. Easy!!
Once you have connected everything,it is time to try out the system. My first reaction and i am sure yours will be the same was one of complete disbelief!!
The sound quality for such small speakers...

FPS100 speaker system, good sound or dead air.
Review of Packard bell fps 100 speakers by
skrg28
Advantages: Cheap to buy, good quality, look good, sound good
Disadvantages: None
...INTRO
Part of my ongoing efforts to upgrade my computer system included a new set of speakers. I wanted a set that would be cheap but still offer a reasonable sound quality and a fair bit of base.
GEN
I ended up in PCWorld looking at the Packard Bell FPS 100. Some of the other units were coming in at £60 plus, to much for a set of PC speakers. The Packard Bell set came in at just under £25. Bargain.
DETAILS
The speakers come with two flat panel desktop treble speakers and a neat little sub woofer for under the desk.
The flat speakers are made of solid silver metal which incorporates a metal base as a stand. The actual speaker is covered with a black gauze and the log mounted on top.
The sub is about 2/3 the size of a normal shoe box with an all black cover and silver front. On the side there is the speaker port which...

Videologic ZXR 550. Big Volume, Little Speakers
Review of Videologic ZXR-550 Speakers (5.1) by
reviewermarc
Advantages: Sound clarity, BASS!!, tweeter
Disadvantages: Inverse quality/volume
..., and speaker systems/stands.
The manuals were well written, easy to follow, and documented accordingly to what kind of setup your pc system might have. Stands were supplied for four of the speakers (they probably assumed you have no need to wall mount your centre speaker..), and even go so far as to include wall plugs and screws!
The sub itself is the control centre, with main volume control, as well as centre, rear, and sub level controls should you wish to adjust any aspect of the system (very handy having it at the front, however if you prefer to store your sub out of sight its not a very nice feature, its all preference).
Rubber mounts are on all the bottoms of the speakers, which was a godsend considering all those rubbish plastic bottoms which are liable to slip everywhere you try to put them.
Now for the good stuff. After fiddling...

Is it a speaker?…is it a toy?…
Review of I-Car by
leofluffy69
Advantages: great sound quality, looks good, super gift
Disadvantages: not very durable.
......no it's both...it's an I-Car...a what?
INTRODUCTION
------------------------
A few months ago I was pondering what to get my partner. I really wanted to make his birthday special and I had no inspiration. I remembered the year before when I gave him his MP3 player he was amazed. He seemed to love the present and I knew it would be hard to beat the previous year. He had been hinting for a while that he would like some good speakers so that he could listen to his MP3 player when cooking, doing DIY etc. I decided against this idea as I though speakers were boring and a forgettable present.
I decided to look on the gadgetshop.com and managed to find the I-Car I was rather intrigued and cautious at the low price still it sounded fun and it included speakers. At a cost of £5.97 who could resist.
THE I-CAR...
