MatthewForshaw
Advantages: Vast range of forms of protection!, Many cables includes!, Financial Damage Protection"
Disadvantages: No RJ11 Surge Surpression
...Features
-------------
The features included with the Belkin SurgeMaster, especially the Gold Series, is endless. These features include an unlimited equipment and data recovery warranty. The product also features a 360 degree plug which allows you to get big “brick” transformers to fit on the bar without touching the other items plugged in. The protector also has connections for Ethernet, co-axial (a/v) connections, and standard television. Two LEDs indicate whether power is being provided to the bar and whether items connected are being protected. Beside these LEDs there is a master switch which disables the SurgeMaster without turning off at the socket. This can be particularly useful when the power outlet is out of reach. The product also features technology which completely silences the protection mechanisms by reducing the volume...

Very good noise suppressor
Review of Boss Noise Suppressor NS-2 by
gwlith_y_wawr
Advantages: Can power other pedals, well built
Disadvantages: Not very exciting (it is just a noise suppressor after all!)
...(effects use up 9V batteries in no time), and will pay for itself after a while.
This is a solid pedal, it does its job as needed but doesn’t do anything especially exciting on top (as you’d expect). If you need a noise suppressor or a power supply to your effects chain then you could do worse than buy this one. I bought mine for £50 and this is pretty good value for money for this pedal....

SAFETY FIRST
Review of APC SurgeArrest E20 - surge suppressor by
thingywhatsit
Advantages: SAFEGUARDS YOUR COMPUTER.
Disadvantages: None.
...I spent a lot of money on my computer, and live in an area which is prone to electrical storms. There are also fluctuations in the flow of electricity in the area where I live which for the purpose of this review I will call "surges". We are also subject to something that perhaps is a rural problem, i.e. electrical cut outs.
This was a major issue when I bought my computer, and five years on, I am still using this neat little gadget that protects my computer from damage by storms or differences in the power feed to the computer.
It actually surprises me that a lot of my friends have not thought out the importance of having a gadget like this to protect what is very expensive equipment.
The unit is grey in colour and is quite attractively designed, having five sockets to take the plugs from your computer equipment. In the case...

Get Protected
Review of Belkin SurgeMaster Maximum Series - surge suppressor by
TheEvilNastyMan
Advantages: Plenty of outlets, wall mountable, phone line protection, Antenna protection
Disadvantages: Bulky, no network protection
...High voltages are alwas lethal, and you're computer is just as vunerable as you.
Get Protected!
A surge protector is a must for any home or office computer user, as not only can the high voltages from a power spike or surge kill you're computer they can pass on to you!.
I think the Belkin SurgeMaster should be the stardard when it comes to protection. As it is affordable, well designed, and packs all the nessary features to protect your equipment.
I personally like the way all the outlets are well spaced out, it gives it the ability to have those large printer / scanner power supplies into it, without having to sacrifice the outlets next to it.
The device also features protection on the phone line and the antenna, which is useful for those of you out there who own a media center computer with a TV card.
Another feature...

Belkin Surgemaster Maximum Series - 8 Socket
Review of Belkin SurgeMaster Maximum Series - surge suppressor by
patwanet
Advantages: Heavy load acceptance, High warranty limit
Disadvantages: None really
...This Belkin Surgemaster Maximum Series Surge protected trailing socket is ideal for medium to advanced pc system setups for both the home and office. There are eight sockets and the product has a master on/off switch with an LED so you know whether current is flowing or not. The surgemaster can take a fairly heavy load even with all eight sockets used up and devices running 24 hurs a day. The cable leading to the main wall plug is thick and durable, making it inseceptable to being cut or damaged.
The colour is a bit dark, but if you're placing it to the side of or behind your desk it shouldn't really matter. The surgemaster hasa good weight, and won't easily be knocked aside.
The product also has a stunningly high £175,000 warranty on it for any damage caused to computer or other electrical equipment as a result of product...

A SURGE OF DEEP SATISFACTION
Review of Belkin SurgeMaster by
Jaxle
Advantages: Eight outlets, Lifetime warranty, Protects phone/TV too
Disadvantages: None
...I started looking for a surge protector for two reasons – firstly I had just read a very worrying article in a magazine and secondly my new PC warranty said that it was only valid if “the system is protected against electrical interference and spikes”. So – what is a surge protector and why is it so important?
Although it has never happened to me, power surges can cause serious damage to your PC, or any sensitive electrical equipment that is connected to the mains. They are caused by a sudden increase in supply, or by thunder storms and lightning strikes. It’s not just the mains supply that is at risk from this sort of thing either – phone lines and TV cables (should your PC have a TV card installed) can all carry the dangerously high voltages/currents that can potentially ruin your PC and its components.
Surge protectors also...

moisture surge
Review of Clinique Moisture Surge Treatment Formula by
purdy
Advantages: Effects are obvious
Disadvantages: Could be expensive for some
...Afer recommendation from a work colleague, l thought l would treat myself and bought moisture surge. Now the product is not cheap costing approximately £22 pounds for a small pot, but a little goes a long way.
I could not believe the difference to my skin - as soft as a babys bottom!!
You can use the product in 2 forms - as a night cream or by applying a thicker coat to your face and leaving it for about 15 minutes it acts as a moisture intensive treatment to your skin.
General l use it as a night cream but if l feel my skin is looking a bit dried out l will follow the intensive treatment.
So if you have been unsure whether you want to spend the cash, or wish to treat yourself - moisture surge is value for money....
