Digital Fortress - A great read!

Advantages: Loads of twists and turns. great read.
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit pridictable

...called Digital Fortress. This is a code generating program but the code is impossible to break even by TRANSLTRs standards. The reason that is impossible is because it isn't a set code it keeps changing. And when TRANSLTR has been running for 18 hours this causes a bit of a stir and the only way to stop it from running, is if you have the pass code and the pass code lays with the programmer who is dead. And if the code gets through then every person with a modem will be allowed to enter US Intelligence... *-*-* Advantages about this book *-*-* Above I have just given you a little bit of the book, you think you know where the plot is going and then it sways dramatically. This is one factor that contributes to how good the book is. Another great thing about this book is you don't have to know anything about computers, hacking or anything...

Digital Fortress, a "cracking" novel. Geddit!

Advantages: Great story, Plausible
Disadvantages: Too short!!!

Digital Vinci Code?

Advantages: Nicely structured storyline, compelling narrative, at times very exciting, thoroughly gripping
Disadvantages: Lead characters perhaps a little bland, not quite as good as The Da Vinci Code, some may be disinterested by the technical-talk

Digital Fortress - A Cracking Thriller!

Advantages: Exciting, Gripping, Well Thought Through
Disadvantages: Surprisingly Easy Read, Too Short!

...an exceptional style of writing that sets him alongside or even above some of the world's greatest authors. Characters. 'Susan Fletcher' is the main character in Digital Fortress. She is an incredibly intellegent yet attractive head cryptographer. 'David Becker' is a professor in languages. He is sent on a dangerous mission, and the man who sent him had no intention of allowing him to come home alive. 'Strathmore' is a head of the NSA. A patriot and US visionary. Strathmore has life problems and this opportunity was his last and only chance (not only in his career as you will find out near the end of the book). I am a big fan of Brown now. Da Vinci Code and Digital Fortress have really grown on me. The third person narrative is essential to Brown's novels, it allows the story to flow in and out of different characters...

Too Many Holes Makes the Fortress Weak

Advantages: Some good action scenes, the character of Ernie Tankado is interesting
Disadvantages: Corny Romance, Plot full of holes, shallow characters

...and Demons. While Robert Langdon was the primary character in both the novels, in both the cases the female character is beautiful, sexy and intelligent. And yes oh yes, again in both the novels, the guy whom we presume to be the good guy turns out to be the bad guy, and the guy we presume to be the bad guy turns out to be the good one. Both have a contract killer running around murdering people. Now interesting though Angels and Demons was some how I could not help feeling a sense of déjà vu, when it came to the clue solving part. The code cracking which was interesting in DVC, seemed so dull in Angels and Demons. Anyway when I picked up Digital Fortress on a flight from Delhi to Pune, I assumed that this book would be different as this time it was related to my field computers and so there was not going to be any religious mumbo jumbo...

This bridge is double suspension

Some of it is the real Brio wooden train sets and some is Brio compatible from other companies. The highest point is just over 7 inches/18cm. This is Brio?s longest bridge it is Modelled after San Francisco?s famous Golden Gate, The pieces that make this bridge are 2 red bridge sections these are plastic and the track that goes over them is wooden. Golden Brown, Texture like sun

Advantages: A good read to take your mind off thinking
Disadvantages: A very similar read to his other books

Bose SoundDock Digital Music System Review

Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive

...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall...

As it was his first book, I was not expecting perfection. I was though, expecting an interesting story, which to some extent I got. It is certainly not be the most exiting novel I have ever read, but for a first novel, it is a decent read Digital Fortress begins as all Dan Brown?s later novels begin, with a mysterious murder, and then the story really takes off. This story is a battle of wits and beliefs, cantering around the government's battle against terrorism vs. individual privacy.
