La Fitness in Sutton Coldfield - Don't Bother!

Advantages: Location, low price, although quality reflects this
Disadvantages: Poor state of repair, over crowded, bad service, poor value for money.

...I joined La Fitness - Sutton Coldfield just under a year ago and I am counting the days until it ends. I thought this gym would be a good choice as it was close to the train station where I get off and would encourage me to go more frequently. There is a Bannatyne at New Oscott but I couldn't face the traffic on the Chester Road. I secured a corporate deal by introducing our company to LA Fitness. As I forgot my card on the day I actually went to sign up, I missed the deal to upgrade so that I would be able to use any gym for the same price. This would've helped me as I could've used the branch in town as I work nearby. When I joined I noticed that there was often equipment that wasn't working and was left for a fairly long time before it was fixed. Sutton Circuit - Probably The Best Karting Venue in the Midlands

Advantages: Good track, good karts, good staff, clean, inviting

...Sutton circuit is based in a small village called Sutton in the Elms, near Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. I have been going to the circuit now for about 2 years, at least once a month. I have also visited many of the outdoor karting circuits in the midlands, and a couple a little further a field. I can honestly say that Sutton is the best maintained track, best maintaoned karts, and some of the nicest people you would want to meet. Some of the circuits I have visited, the quality of the karts is completely unacceptable when you are paying upto £45 for 30 minutes. In all of my time going to sutton I have only ever seen two karts break down, or have any mechanical problems. The circuit is around 600 yards long, and a good average lap is around 39 seconds whilst using the hire karts. The lap record using these karts is 38...

Let The Ladies Make You Radiant

Advantages: Very close to Sutton Coldfield town centre and any bus route that goes into Sutton COldfield. It's close enough to pay a quick visit during your lunch break.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of except that I can't go as often as I would like

...Radiant Ladies is a small beauty salon in While Road, Sutton Coldfield not far from the town centre well within walking distance. When you first look for it, it's abit awkward as it is in rooms over a chemist shop but once you know where you are going, there's no problem. There is a little bit of a car park - enough room for arund 4 cars but as they would probably only have 2 clients in the salon at any one time, that is more than enough. The salon itself is ran by two women - Caroline who is the owner, and Andrea, both of whom are very pleasant to speak to both on the phone and in person. Whatever treatment you are looking for, if they can do it, they will. In fact, both have recently updated their training and have extended their range of treatments (they use Elemis products)and surprisingly, the prices aren't that expensive...

...I recently got married and held my reception at Moxhull Hall Hotel in Sutton. As soon as we saw the venue and the built in marquee with fairy lights in the ceiling we knew this was the place to hold our reception and we were not disapointed. The house is set in the country side with rolling lawns and fields as far as the eye can see, you would never imagine you are just a short drive away from "real life" as the setting is so idylicc. Many of our guests were staying in the hotel and checked in upon arrival, all said the staff were very friendly and helpful towards them during this time offering to carry bags and help with baby seats etc. The hotel rooms were all clean and decorated to a very high modern standard which considering you are in an old fashioned country style house is suprising. They are , in some cases, a little bit more expensive than others, but the amount of seeds per pack was impressive. Prices range from, 99p for the more common seeds, like radish, lettuce and spring onion. Up to £1. 79 for runner beans, broad beans or garden peas. In March i began sowing and i have been very impressed with the amount of seedlings that have grown. As i write, there are lettuce big enough to pull, also radishes, which taste so much better than any you can buy from the supermarket.
