Suzuki Baleno 1.6GS 3DR Hatch
Review of Suzuki Baleno 1.6 by
Arbiter
Advantages: Low Price, Good Equipment
Disadvantages: Steep Depreciation
...Well, I've been driving a Suzuki Baleno, on and off, for the last 3 years now and I've never once been disappointed.
For the price you get a lot more equipment than other vehicles in its class and a much bigger engine as standard.
I've read a number of reviews that have slated Suzukis, but I've never been less than impressed with this vehicle in the time I've had it.
The 1.6 engine is gutsy, helped by the small size of the car. It has the same kick as a Saxo VTR but costs less on insurance. Motorway driving is effortless and wind noise is fairly low.
The cabin is spacious and visibility is good, although some of the dashboard controls feel a bit flimsy (though none have broke in 3 years). The suspension gives a smooth ride, although at low speeds bumps are transmitted noisily into the cabin.
There are positive and negative aspects...

Suzuki Wagon R with plenty of plusses(+):-)
Review of Suzuki Wagon R+ 1.2 by
jagloverz
Advantages: Big car feel, small car price.Well finished
Disadvantages: More expensive than others in class
...Welcome to my review for the Suzuki Wagon R+ 1.2.
If you're wondering why i am able to write reviews on so many different cars, its simple......
I've worked in the Car auction and Car hire business, so have driven too many cars to mention.
Ciao suggests being factual, so i'll use headings, and be as easy to understand as possible.
Reliability
This car is very reliable and Suzuki are making great efforts to ensure that their cars meet the same high standards as their motorbikes. The engine is quiet and unassuming, with enough power for motorway trips.
Safety
The Wagon+ is well built and has a host of safety features as standard.ABS, Passenger and Drivers airbags are all present.
Car handles well, and feels as big and as safe as a Golf-sized car.
Spaciousness
Large cabin at the expense of some boot space.
Easily large enough for 4...

I love this car!
Review of Suzuki Swift 1.5 GLX 5dr by
prettyinpink146
Advantages: Stylish and safe
Disadvantages: Expensive
...The Suzuki Swift is the first car I ever drove! My driving instructor had this car, in yellow, and I loved it!
Firstly, the Suzuki Swift is really stylish! It is modern and sleek, as well as being a 'cool' car to have. Also, it comes in lots of fantastic colours, my personal favourite being dark blue.
Secondly, the car is rather spacious. At first glance you might classify the Suzuki Swift as a small car, which technically it is. However, the interior is very spacious and does not have a cramped feeling at all. The car fits 5 adults comfortably, as the seats are quite big. This car also has the advantage that, although it can seem big from inside, the small size makes parking easier. I am truely the most atrocious driver and cannot park! But doing a paraller park in this car was a doddle!!
The clutch is not at all heavy in this car...

Cheapest four by four, but how practical?
Review of Suzuki Jimny 1.3 convertible by
Myopinioncountstoo
Advantages: Excellent value for money, well equipped. Cute Looks!!
Disadvantages: Extremely high depreciation, no boot, pathetic rear door opening design. Cute looks??
...I purchased my Suzuki Jimny soft top about 18 months ago after searching for a newer low mileage vehicle with a sound manufacturer's warranty included for peace of mind motoring. I get bored with cars so quickly I always buy something a bit 'different' and the Jimny looked so cute in bright pillar box red with 'his' little round headlights that looked like eyes!
I also liked the fact that there are several catalogues of options available to customise your Jimny and I did purchase a really funky soft spare wheel cover for mine.
I test drove the Jimny soft top at several Suzuki dealerships before purchasing one from an independant dealer for a great 'bargain' price. It was priced at £1,500 less than comparable ones at the Suzuki dealerships and the stock available at any of the Suzuki dealers was very limited.
I received an excellent...

suzuki jimni 1.3 JLX
Review of Suzuki Jimny 1.3 JLX O2 3dr by
xdonzx
Advantages: Easy to park , smooth , comfortable , air conditioning
Disadvantages: boot too small
...The Suzuki Jimny I'm going to review is the 1.3 JLX
What a fantastic little vehicle the suzuki jimni is.
My family have had a few 4x4s all of different makes but there isn't one that compares to this little wonder on wheels.
As we live in a remote area with a steep hill to climb in winter this is the only vehicle to get us home and dry.Others we have had to abandon and walk home on more than one ocasion.
During a day out to a sheepdog trials on a wet summers evening where the ground was extremely muddy. 4 x 4s were getting stuck one after the other. The only one which was sailing by was my dad in his suzuki.
Some of the owners of the great big expensive 4 x 4s used to snigger at this little box - they soon stopped laughing when they were the one's walking up the field.
*Appearance *
A compact little vehicle in a two metalic paint...

Don't Go There
Review of Suzuki Jimny 1.3 convertible by
Phantom309
Advantages: Cheap, fun, distinctive
Disadvantages: Badly engineered; dealers don't care
...in the rain, when the wipers stopped working. I called Suzuki Assistance who said that a connection had come off and it had to go the nearest dealer - 30 miles away. The breakdown guy refused to call a towtruck, and I had to drive behind his land rover, in the driving rain, without wipers. I was terrified.
The Jimny was stuck at the dealership for 3 days - for a job that should take 30 minutes. They didn't even order the part from Suzuki until it had sat there 24 hours. They failed to return my calls and were rude.
I rang Suzuki customer services to tell them about the problems with Suzuki Assistance and the dealership. They were quite blatently rude, and more or less told me they weren't interested.
By the third day, with my Jimny still untouched at the dealership, I went up to the garage, reclaimed it, and exchanged it that afternoon...

Suzuki Vitara....A word of warning...
Review of Suzuki Vitara by
titch98
Advantages: Looks good inside and out.
Disadvantages: Light on steering, weak plastic handles, high fuel useage in urban areas
...In 1999, my wife and I gained a Suzuki Vitara on the Motorbility Scheme (my wife is disabled). The vehicle attracted us mainly because of the ease to get into and out of the vehicle, as well as the fact that it is a nice looking car. Within the first year of our three year contract, we could not wait to the day we hand the vehicle back over.
In Suzuki`s defence, the vehicle is comfortable inside and all the controls are neatly laid out. The 4x4 has also been useful in winter conditions, especially in the Peak District area where we now live. However, that is all the good points that I have been able to find with this vehicle.
The car itself is VERY light on the steering and there have been a number of occasions where a heavy gust of wind has literally taken the vehicle off the road. The rear luggage compartment is very...

Advantages: Good all round ,high vision.Suitable for back problems . good milage
Disadvantages: small boot,no solid rear shelf, just a flexi shade

We transport our baby grandaughter and so carry all the bags ,pushchair etc, so we do miss the space.

A Great First Car!
Review of Suzuki Swift 1.0 by
beccy12001
Advantages: Cheap and reliable
Disadvantages: Poor rear visibility, not the best looking of cars, quite poor suspension
...The suzuki swift was my first car. I bought it because it was only 6 months old, and still a very reasonable price. I was advised against the purchase by my friends, who informed me that the suzuki swift was not 'cool' and that with such a small engine, it would take me hours to get anywhere!
They were, however, proved wrong. The suzuki turned out to be a fantastic car for me. It may not be the fastest or the coolest, but in two years of owning the car, it did not let me down once. It is also very economical to run, and relatively cheap to insure. Its size makes it easy to manouvre and park, and for such a small car, it has all the mod cons; CD player, heated rear windows (a blessing!) and electric windows. The boot is quite small, but that is to be expected in a small car. The rear seats do let down to give more room...

sporty little number
Review of Suzuki Swift 1.3 by
sacook
Advantages: Nice tidy car
Disadvantages: very little room in the back
...I had a Suzuki swift for about three years before I traded it in for a Rover. I did not change makes because of any problems with the swift, but because I got an unbelievable deal with the Rover. The Suzuki Swift 1.3 GLS is surprisingly fast for its size and its handling is excellent. The looks of the car are also very stylish for a car in its class. It is one of the few cars that a Bloke can get that does not look too girly (i.e. Nissan Micro, Renault Cleo etc.). The major draw back of the car is the amount of legroom that you get in the back seats which are cramped to say the least. The boot however is quite adequate. Over the time that I had the care the servicing was good and the cost was reasonable, the garage always provided a courtesy car or depending on how close you were they would come and pick the car up and then bring...
