...ride it and would not recomend it for any learners. be carefull if you are at the lights and want to just get infront of a car on my old gsx750 this was easy and i just speed away in first and think nothing of it - on the busa you give it too much and you will find yourself starring at the sky trying to get the front wheel back down. all in all the Suzuki Hayabusa is a great touring machine that gives the best handling, a great deal of confort and a feeling of safety which is hard to describe why with a rocket strapped to you but it is just an amazing machine. I have a big weekend planned for it now and am looking forward to watching it eat through allot more K's on the way....

Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!!

Advantages: Speed, handling, reliability, snarly exhaust note.
Disadvantages: Maybe not quite as stylish looking as some other bikes.

...Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!! Previous to buying my Gixxer 750 three years ago I owned a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 600. I ended up having no end of expensive problems with the Kawasaki and in the end I part-exchanged the bike for a brand new Suzuki GSXR-750 K5 model. I bought my bike as the new model was coming out so I got a hefty discount on it. You can pick one of these up for about £4000 now. Which is good considering that they are known for their bomb-proof engines so you shouldn?t get any problems. Suzuki GSX600F - Every home should have one

Advantages: Cost or running, purchase and parts, practicality

Unleash the Animal

Advantages: all the fun of a 600, WITH MUCH MORE POWER!!!!!!

I was definitely looking for a step up from super-sport 600's, after having 3 different models of CBR 600. GSX Alternative

Advantages: Great individual looks, brill handling!
Disadvantages: Seen as the GSX "Teapot" tourer (NOT true!!)

...Only recently have i learned to ride a motorbike after four years of nagging my boyfriend (yes - i'm a girl!) I thought the GSX750W would be like its counterpart the R model and be a tad too quick to bite if i did anything wrong, but this bike is very forgiving. The clutch has to be tweeked in order to get the front wheel in the air (I have tried very hard!). Top performance bandit lookalike but very unique, and light enough for us weedy girls to handle. The best thing about this bike however, is the price....a snip at just £3,600!! Great starter bike, which also gives you the experience of handling a bigger, faster bike! Not as popular as they should be, and sound great with a can!! TeaPot zzzzzzz But does the job

.... The GSX600-F may have a slight sports bike look but the seating position is very comfortable as you sit almost upright (almost tourer style). Even though your riding position is quiet high fitting a double bubble screen takes all the wind blast away from you and the faring itself is very good for diverting the wind blast away from the rider. From floor to seat its 770(ish mm) so its not a bike for the very short rider as there is only a tiny amount height of adjustment. The turning circle is also poor so she can take some serious man handling to get into a tight storage space. What makes it harder is that the GSX600-F may look sporty(ish) but she is damm heavy. So put the weight and bad turning circle together and you had better be in good physical shape. There is no center stand either which I would havethough was a must on a bike of this...

1998 model hates the cold

...As with most reviews of this bike, I COULD begin by talking about the bike's affinity with the track, but I'd only find myself repeating what has been said numerous times before. Instead, I feel I should talk about a specific problem I have found with the '98 model. My bike has now become my regular commuting bike, travelling around 1000 miles a month to and from outer London. It's been a dream to ride up until recently, when the weather started to turn cold. On a rather cold, windy morning earlier this month my GSX-R finally gave up on me whilst riding to work. The engine cut out as I pulled up to a busy set of traffic lights, the fuel-injection warning light came on, and the bike refused to start again. Not being the most mechanically minded person I know, I tried everything I coukld to start it......bump start, check fuses...

This Teapot is my cup of tea!

Advantages: More "oomph" than the GS500
Disadvantages: Adding a rack and top box mucks up the aerodynamics a bit!

...Introduction: Well despite my love for the GS500 that I rode happily for just over two years (see review), I decided the time had come to get a bike with a bit more "oomph". Not that I wanted to race at high speed all over the place, but it is nice to have that extra bit of acceleration to get you out of trouble sometimes or to pull away quickly! Choosing a bike: I didn't want an out and out sports bike so had a look around and came up with a "preferred" list as follows: Yamaha Fazer; Honda Hornet; Triumph Bonneville (new version); Suzuki GSX 600F. Well I sat on the Fazer at the NEC and it felt good, definitely a possibility. Then I knew someone shorter than me with a Hornet who loved it and found it OK for her, so that was also on the cards. I really liked the idea of a British bike but the Bonneville isn't fared...

Once, twice, three times a bike

.... Having been 17 at the time I took my test, I had no option but to take the 125 restricted licence option. The Bike The day I passed my test, I bought a brand new CBR600F/sport, which was restricted by the shop. A few weeks later I had some unwanted attention from a Renault Clio and ended up getting another CBR through insurance. I won't go on about the CBR in too much detail, but I will use it to compare to the GSX-R 600. In August 2003, I got rid of my CBR and bought a second hand GSX-R 600 K1 model. The person who sold me the bike had really looked after her and it had only done 2000 miles in 2 years. The GSX-R was pronounced the 'track bike' of the 600 class in the magazine reviews.
