Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa
Advantages: every thing
Disadvantages: none
...ride it and would not recomend it for any learners. be carefull if you are at the lights and want to just get infront of a car on my old gsx750 this was easy and i just speed away in first and think nothing of it - on the busa you give it too much and you will find yourself starring at the sky trying to get the front wheel back down. all in all the Suzuki Hayabusa is a great touring machine that gives the best handling, a great deal of confort and a feeling of safety which is hard to describe why with a rocket strapped to you but it is just an amazing machine. I have a big weekend planned for it now and am looking forward to watching it eat through allot more K's on the way....

Advantages: Handling, big smile when your riding
Disadvantages: ha ha trying to reverse the bike is heavy
...licence). I am glad i have had 10 years biking experience and feel this machine requires a good knowledge to be able to ride it and would not recomend it for any learners. be carefull if you are at the lights and want to just get infront of a car on my old gsx750 this was easy and i just speed away in first and think nothing of it - on the busa you give it too much and you will find yourself starring at the sky trying to get the front wheel back down. all in all the Suzuki Hayabusa is a great touring machine that gives the best handling, a great deal of confort and a feeling of safety which is hard to describe why with a rocket strapped to you but it is just an amazing machine. Zanussi ZWC 1300
Advantages: Good Value Product
Disadvantages: None
...After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore would recommend the product. However, always think carefully as to whether you actually really need something before you buy it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need.

The best bike ever, ferrari beater!
Advantages: Amazing - the only word to describe it!!!
Disadvantages: Insurance costs!
...Having owned several bikes over the last couple of years i recently purchased a cbr600rr-4, an absolutely stunning bike, lovely to ride and topped off with the underseat cans. The only disadvantage - the wife wont ride 5 metres on the back of it!!! So i chopped it in and bought a Hayabusa!
It is a W reg with 17k miles on it, costing about the same as the 2004 CBR =O(
However, on the test ride both my wife and myself knew it was the bike for us - most bikes i have owned feel like they are doing 70mph when you are - on the busa you feel like your doing 30mph at 70!!! Not only that, it is comfy, there is barely any wind and the power is simple scary!!
Having said that, it is reasonably well behaved, in the wet care is needed not to let the back wheel spin (in any gear!) but the front wheel will barely ever raise off the ground...

Hey, abuse 'er!
Advantages: Fast, Comfortable
Disadvantages: Uglier than a box of frogs
...First off, I'm a Ducati rider. But that doesn't mean that I'm blind to all other bikes - although the Hayabusa design is definitely an offense to the optical nerve.
It's an enormous blob, and no mistake; parked next to my Duke it's like Roseanne Barr meeting Naomi Campbell. I circle the beast warily before throwing a leg over it (the 'Busa, not Roseanne).
The seat is plush, but my little legs have a hard time reaching the ground. No big surprise, there then. I comfort myself with the thought that low speed paddling is probably going to amuse any onlookers, so at least I'm doing my bit to keep people smiling. I turn the key and thumb the start button, and the monster 1300 fires up with about as much fuss as a CD-ROM drive. Same sound too.
I fasten my helmet strap, snick the whale into first, and pull out of the driveway...

My baby 'busa!
Advantages: Speed, looks (yes I know!), handling...
Disadvantages: Not a long ride bike!
...your faster than anything your likely to meet!
The average price for a second hand 'busa is around £6000, but for an extra 2 and a half thousand, you can get a new one. Considering many other big bikes like Honda or Kawazaki usually charge in the region of £30000 for a new bike, this is amazing. But that's just the way Suzuki is.
There are several downsides to the 'busa however. The fuel just disappears after a day's riding and after too long you can feel yourself becoming incredibly uncomfortable. The length of the bike means a titch like me has to stretch to reach everything, and it can get very painful on the back and arms.
If your female or short, beware when it comes to the Hayabusa. If you want a Duke or something else thats prettier than it handles don't even bother. Basically, buy this bike if your a nut, if not, make sure...

The fastest thing on two wheels
Advantages: The fastest thing on two wheels
Disadvantages: not the nicest looking bike
...This bike can only be described as "A Huge Leap in Technology". The bike can be fun to a person with experience but could be dangerous to one without.
The engine is a liquid-cooled inline four with a bore of 81mm, stroke of 63mm and displacement of 1298cc. So this bike will pack a punch. It has a power output of 175bhp at 9,800rpm which means serious fun.
At the end of a standing half mile the bike will be doing around 180mph which will scare any biker.
The comfort is satisfactory but can be expected from a top of the range sports bike.
The handling is surprisingly good for a bike of its size and calibre. It is not as agile as a 400 or a 600 but it can still take corners quite well.
Between different people, the looks of the hayabusa changes. In my opinion, I find that the Hayabusa is quite nice looking due to...

Short Live Susuki
Advantages: Fair deals
Disadvantages: Many including carefree staff
...EDITED*EDITED*EDITED*EDITED
Susuki today are becoming more and more wide spread but less known. We alaways remember thosestylish 4x4's with the bulky tyres which many of us loved.
However. Go to a dealer now and they also specialize in cars.
THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL THE YOUNG AND VERY NICE PEOPLE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR!
If you know me well here at Ciao, you'd know that I am crazy for taking new cars out on the road known as a testdrive.
BUT WAIT. Thats not the case here.
I was simply on my way to a friends when I walked past and noticed a used car they were selling dead cheap. It was a Ford Fiesta, S-reg for £4,995. It looked like a bargain so I walked over and started to take a look.
Though. by the way! They do sell approved and used cars, but I think thats a good thing, so thats one good hand to...

Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!!
Advantages: Speed, handling, reliability, snarly exhaust note.
Disadvantages: Maybe not quite as stylish looking as some other bikes.
...Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!!
Previous to buying my Gixxer 750 three years ago I owned a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 600. I ended up having no end of expensive problems with the Kawasaki and in the end I part-exchanged the bike for a brand new Suzuki GSXR-750 K5 model. I bought my bike as the new model was coming out so I got a hefty discount on it. You can pick one of these up for about £4000 now. Which is good considering that they are known for their bomb-proof engines so you shouldn?t get any problems. Just be careful as they are a bit of a track day goers favourite so might have been trashed around race tracks.

The Look

I bought one of the less popular colour schemes, yellow and black. I actually really like this colour. It looks good with my black windshield. A bonus is that you will see a lot...

Suzuki SV650(s) : Simply..a damn good bike
Advantages: Light, economical, easy to ride and fun. Comfortable too.
Disadvantages: Sound with standard can! Niggly quality issues..
...by 6-12mm to keep rake the same.
It's very light as well, it took me a while to learn to ride it after coming from a Z750.. like it just turns in and I ended up having to sit up to get back on line :D
Reliability
Some issues with the curvy SV models are just silly, such as a clutch cover that can weep oil as it warps over time. It's made of plastic so what do you expect? Can be replaced with a metal one from woodcraft or a new plastic one, although the issue will come back after a while. When replacing a plastic cover with a new one, be sure to apply some Suzuki bond around the join to be sure it won't happen again, along with a new o-ring. Other than that it's a very durable engine and lasts forever, just keep it serviced ETC ETC.
Practicality
Fuel range is anything between 110 and 220 miles depending on how you...
