Suzuki GSXR600 K5
Advantages: Very quick, looks good in black and silver, handles beautifully
Disadvantages: Licence taker
...Well what can I say the GSXR 600 K5, probabaly one of the best of the series. I got mine for £5000, second hand 3 months old 400 miles on the clock, the bloke I got it from was scared of it, wanted a quick sale to buy a bandit 600 again. WHY????
A beautifully well balanced machine pushing out about 110 to 115 bhp and a top speed of about 155-160mph. (I have had 153mph out of mine, tested and tagged in a speed trap). This machine will take your licence from you you have been warned. You can change the exhaust without worring about setting up the carbs, I love electronic ingition and injection valves. The bike does the work for you.
Petrol tank holds about 17 litres, waring light comes on when your getting low, I was 20 miles away from a petrol station and got there ok so plenty of time when the light does come on. The clock is...

Once, twice, three times a bike
Advantages: good handling, comfortable, a lot of boot space,
Disadvantages: It is considerably larger looking than the competitors
...The Licence
First of all, I would like to start off by explaining the licence laws and regulations, just so everyone understands how and why I am riding a GSX-R 600 at 18.
When taking your test, there are a few options available to you. If you are 21 or over, you may take the Direct Access test and ride any bike you like once you pass.
If you are 17 or over, you may take the "A" class 125 (restricted licence) test, which allows you to ride a 125cc motorcycle without L plates, or any other motorcycle providing it is restricted to 33BHP. The restricted licence lasts for 2 years, then becomes a full motorcycle licence and the person can ride any bike, with any power they can afford to insure.
Lastly, there is the ?Accelerated Access? test, for over 21 year olds who took the 125 test and want to upgrade to the full licence...

Speed Demon
Advantages: POWER, pick up, alot cheaper than a car
Disadvantages: takes concentration to ride, doesn't ride itself like the Honda's
...I am 26 years old and I have never owned a car. I’m quite proud of that. Instead. I am a motorbike man through and through.
And one of those bikes was a GSXR 600
I bought the GSXR 600 second hand for only $1500 (NZ, about $700 US) – which was a very good price. Even though the bike was 10 years old when I got it and had done a few kilometers (or miles, for American readers) already, it still rates as the fastest bike I have ever owned (0-100 in under 5 seconds!).
Originally I got the bike because I was moving to Gisborne to study sport and I was looking for something a little bigger than what I currently had, in order to make return trips a little faster. Well, it certainly did that. It’s 16 valve double overhead cam added up to monster pick up (great for riding the Gisborne gorge), while it’s big 600cc...

Unleash the Beast....
Advantages: Sexy Looks with Race Bred performance, at low cost!
Disadvantages: Petrol Guzzler!
...I have been riding motorbikes since I was old enough and ugly enough to consider it. I have now managed to gather enough money together to buy a Suzuki GSX-R600. Some may say that it is too much for an 18 year old to handle, but I would have to disagree, and say that I have never had so much fun with my clothes on!
It has sexy looks combined with top quality performance. It is lightweight, easy to flick into corners, and easy to lift the front wheel whilst being chunky and overall a fat bike!
I have owned the bike for five weeks and can't keep my butt off the seat! Not to mention the front wheel on the floor, this beast (with a road permitting) can power its way into fourth gear from low down in first on the back wheel! ;o)
However, the only problem is that of the Cam chain, most if not all slightly earlier models need to undergo...

Suzuki GP125 Racer
Advantages: Rotary inlet valve, Large cooling fins.
Disadvantages: Big gap between 2nd and 3rd.
...Suzuki GP125's make great junior gp racers F4 here in New Zealand. We race F4 and F5 (50's) on go-kart tracks and longer GP tracks.
My own GP125 runs on 17" rims and is shod with Honda RS125 GP slicks. Frame is braced, racing seat and clipons. The barrel is skimmed 1.75mm and "O" ringed. Port timing is Ex opens 86 (short track) and 83 degrees (long track) ATDC Transfers 114 degrees ATDC and inlet timing is opens 145 BTDC and closes 55 (short track) 85 (long track) ATDC.
Runs an expansion chamber modelled on the 84 RM125 spec's and because of the rough and tumble (close racing and many crashes) of racing to the limit on go-cart tracks the pipe is made out of 1.25mm material and rigidly mounted so it does not get munched easily in a crash.
F4 125 two strokes are limited to air cooling and a single 24mm carb. It is putting out...

ATS - Exhaustingly Good
Advantages: Fast Service, Courteous Service
Disadvantages: Garages will differ around the UK
...**Please note the following ATS-Euromaster review is based around the service and products received from the ATS Garage in Newbury, Berkshire.**
*Personal Background*
Earlier on this week I noticed my exhaust was producing a rather unique sounding boy racer noise, complete with a slight rattling of my exhaust box, so decided immediate action was required as I was due in Cardiff the following day. I decided to take my Citroen Saxo (51 reg.) to the local Kick Fit dealers as they had always provided a reputable service in the past, however after an initial free inspection they advised me that I required 3 new parts for my exhaust, an Intermediate Pipe, an Intermediate Silencer Box and a Rear Silencer Box.
However after consulting their catalogue of parts I was told the intermediate parts I needed were not obtainable from their...

The SV 650 is a quality motorcycle that does everything.
Advantages: Performance, purchase price, cheap insurance, resale value.
Disadvantages: May want a bigger bike after awhile. Cheesy-looking rear bumper.
...I have owned and driven many motorcycles for about eleven years now, and always enjoy the versatility of a "middle-weight" bike. The Suzuki SV 650 is by far the greatest value on the market right now. For under $7,500 US you get a very sharp looking bike that performs well and does everything you ask of it. The SV 650 comes with fuel-injection, which may not seem like much, but once you get used to a fuel injected bike, starting up a bike without it will make you feel like you're in the stone age (you'd be amazed at how many "value bikes" that are still carbureted). So working from the inside out, I love the 90 degree v-twin. Almost every sport or "sportier" bike out there is an inline four (except Ducatis of course). The SV has a distinctive exhaust note that only a V-twin can give, and of course an after market exhaust pipe/system (and...

Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!!
Advantages: Speed, handling, reliability, snarly exhaust note.
Disadvantages: Maybe not quite as stylish looking as some other bikes.
...Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!!
Previous to buying my Gixxer 750 three years ago I owned a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 600. I ended up having no end of expensive problems with the Kawasaki and in the end I part-exchanged the bike for a brand new Suzuki GSXR-750 K5 model. I bought my bike as the new model was coming out so I got a hefty discount on it. You can pick one of these up for about £4000 now. Which is good considering that they are known for their bomb-proof engines so you shouldn?t get any problems. Just be careful as they are a bit of a track day goers favourite so might have been trashed around race tracks.

The Look
~~~~~~~
I bought one of the less popular colour schemes, yellow and black. I actually really like this colour. It looks good with my black windshield. A bonus is that you will see a lot...
Short Live Susuki
Advantages: Fair deals
Disadvantages: Many including carefree staff
...EDITED*EDITED*EDITED*EDITED
Susuki today are becoming more and more wide spread but less known. We alaways remember thosestylish 4x4's with the bulky tyres which many of us loved.
However. Go to a dealer now and they also specialize in cars.
THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL THE YOUNG AND VERY NICE PEOPLE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR!
If you know me well here at Ciao, you'd know that I am crazy for taking new cars out on the road known as a testdrive.
BUT WAIT. Thats not the case here.
I was simply on my way to a friends when I walked past and noticed a used car they were selling dead cheap. It was a Ford Fiesta, S-reg for £4,995. It looked like a bargain so I walked over and started to take a look.
Though. by the way! They do sell approved and used cars, but I think thats a good thing, so thats one good hand to...
Nee naa , nee naa , its the police on a motorbike
Advantages: good for role play
Disadvantages: none
...I was playing with the Lego police motorcycle at work the other day. I pushed it fast through the streets and my policeman helped the Lego lady find the lost Lego boy. My police man got back on his motorbike and rushed through the Lego streets, there had been a Lego car accident. Then my Lego police motor bile had to go to a robbery he was met by the Lego police car the Lego policemen sucessfully caught the robber and took him to Lego jail.
No I am not getting into my second childhood; I was at work playing with a group of children. I love my job it allows me to play with all the toys.
This Lego police motorbike is a good addition to any Lego set. You can buy it at most toy or toy departments or look on line where you can buy it at http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=7235 . Where it only costs £2.99. I am sure it is available at many...
