Suzuki Swift - A great all round super-mini
Advantages: Fast and responsive, a great looker.
Disadvantages: Limited boot space and rear legroom
.... The key fob with hidden key is a nice addition and certainly made me feel like Suzuki had paid alot of attention to detail with this model, making its high cover price for a car of this class somewhat justified.
Sitting in my new car, apart from enjoying the new car smell only garages seem to be able to achieve, I loved how comfortable the seats were. Whilst the seats in the Swift don't offer the most lumbar support, aren't leather and don't have built in massagers, they were far more comfortable than the seats in the other super-minis I've owned over the years. Furthermore, in my experience the fabric on all of the seats is incredibly hard wearing, and still looks as good as it did the day I bought it. You feel securely held when going round corners, and they're easy to get out of. The adjustable steering column is much appreciated by me...

Wanna Play with a New Style Swift?
Advantages: All the equipment I need !
Disadvantages: Just can't 'play' enough !!!
...The very first time I saw this 'cheeky, funky chappy with attitude' was in my local Suzuki dealers show room when my husband went to pick up his Grand Vitara, I wasn't even thinking of buying myself a new car but for some strange reason I just kept going back to have another look at the 'NEW SWIFT' that had caught my eye !!
It was dressed in Superior white and stood in a class of it's own - cute but rugged, different but familiar, small but sturdy - and most of all, well priced for what it had to offer!!
My first initial thoughts were 'this is so 'Mini' like but more original - more robust looking with a distinctive stand out character - from that moment I was interestingly curious!!!
I started to look into articles in mags and on the net about the New Swift - and became very interested in all the good comments that were being...

Swift is the word!
Advantages: Great on fuel, Quick, Small engine class.
Disadvantages: Road noise, Security, Parts can be troulbesome.
...When buying my first car I had many things to consider. The cost of the car itself, the cost of my insurance, the running costs, and like any vain early twenties person, the look of it. I was younger then, looks in a car meant a lot to me but I was constrained by my budget. Looking in the national used car papers I sat down and circled a lot of ads. The more I rang numbers the more disheartened I got, most of the ones I wanted were sold by the time I picked up the phone. I had a picture in my head of the car I wanted and what I wanted wasn't available. I started looking at different vehicles, ones that were less appealing to me but much more what I could afford. I came accross the ad for a Suzuki Swift 1990 Navy blah blah blah and the price was well below my budget, I would be able to pay my insurance in one go too. I rang the number...

SWIFT - Good Buy or Bad?
Advantages: Swift - Says it all. Quick off the mark
Disadvantages: Street Cred!
...I bought a Suzuki Swift in Jan 04, and I can say I was impressed. Being quite ignorant about cars at that time, I was unsure about the pro's and con's on cars. See my other review for information......
When I drove the Swift out of the showroom I was impressed with the speed it could reach in such a short time. Not saying it is a porshe or anything, but it was impressive!
Top speed I reached out of it was 120mph at a push. Not bad for a 998litre. Some downsides to the Swift include:
- Expensive parts (Being Japanese)
- Basic Model (That is what you may be looking for)
- Loud Engine
- Electric window problem (in my personal opinion)
Some good points include:
- Cheap tyre replacement
- Quick acceleration
- Cheap Tax
My Swift did around 25,000 miles in a year, quite a high mileage. It did not need any major works to...

Swift like cheese
Advantages: cheap to buy, easy to drive, nippie, nice electronic windows
Disadvantages: frigile body structure, expensive parts, not good for long distances
...I bought this car because I was on a tight a budget and desparently needed a car. I bought the car from a local suzuki manufacturer, from seven thousand, this included a year comprehensive insurence which I was delighted as I'm a young driver, further more the car came with a decent sound system, and nice interia sports seats, the car addtionally consisted a mobiliser, and central locking, plus electronic widowns, oh yea they gave me a year free servicing and MOT.
Ok lets get down to it.... the good points about the car is that it's very easy to drive, the car can go for miles it can do 53 miles to the gallon so in this day and age it's not bad,further more the car very nippie got a pretty fast acceleration from 0 to 30, plus the weel is light therfore turning corners are very easy.
Ok these are the bad points about the car.. first...

A Swift Pint!
Advantages: Light, refreshing and well balanced light bitter.
Disadvantages: Not the best. Lacks body and texture.
...As anyone who has read my beer reviews will know by now I am a big fan of supporting my local breweries. I live in Derbyshire and until recent times local breweries were a bit thin on the ground. In the past couple of years there has been a positive boom in the amount of brewers who have set up around where I live. These include Thornbridge Hall, Spire and, the subject of this review, Peak Ales. Not being one to stem their creative flow I have made it my selfless task to taste as many local beers as I can. This is how I came to be sitting in the Arkwright Arms one Thursday evening doing a beer tasting of Peak Ales Swift Nick!
~~~THE BREWERY.
Peak Ales is located in the Barn Brewery on the Chatsworth House estate, near Bakewell in Derbyshire. Their first brew of beer (called Bakewell Best Bitter) took place on the 1st February...
Taylor Swift Fearless
Advantages: Amazing voice, pure talent
Disadvantages: always mostly singing about boys
...Taylor Swift: Fearless
Now i tend to venture outside the old rock zone which i have comfortably settled in but i dont go out those zones often, i listen to the likes of Dixie Chicks and Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus and i have recently come across this woman...Taylor Swift. Did not think i would like her at all but my mom bought the cd and while she was playing i couldnt help but think...oh my god she has talent! I noticed though all her songs are mainly about boys and falling in love which doesnt really appeal to me if its everysingle song, yeah on this track its nearly everysingle song but they all seem unique to me...different.
Taylor Swift released her first devut single which was called Tim Mcgraw in 2006 and then a few months later in october sometime she released her self titled album. She was one of the biggest...
Taylor's Swiftly Become a Favourite!
Advantages: great vocals and songwriting
Disadvantages: a few weaker tracks in the middle, not released in the UK yet
...I first heard of Taylor Swift when I heard "Teardrops on My Guitar" on internet radio and promptly downloaded it. A few months later I heard "Our Song" and read an interview in a magazine as her debut album was to be reissued. Well, here it is, and I certainly wasn't disappointed.
For those of you who are not familiar with her, Taylor is quickly making a big name for herself in the country music world - and she's only 18! After setting out to Nashville at the age of 13 from her home in Pennsylvania, she quickly snapped up a record contract and her debut single Tim McGraw was released in 2006, and to date all three of her singles have made not only the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot Country Songs (Our Song reaching number one), but also the Top 40 of the Billboard 100. This self-titled album, first released in 2006 and reissued in late...
Short Live Susuki
Advantages: Fair deals
Disadvantages: Many including carefree staff
...EDITED*EDITED*EDITED*EDITED
Susuki today are becoming more and more wide spread but less known. We alaways remember thosestylish 4x4's with the bulky tyres which many of us loved.
However. Go to a dealer now and they also specialize in cars.
THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL THE YOUNG AND VERY NICE PEOPLE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR!
If you know me well here at Ciao, you'd know that I am crazy for taking new cars out on the road known as a testdrive.
BUT WAIT. Thats not the case here.
I was simply on my way to a friends when I walked past and noticed a used car they were selling dead cheap. It was a Ford Fiesta, S-reg for £4,995. It looked like a bargain so I walked over and started to take a look.
Though. by the way! They do sell approved and used cars, but I think thats a good thing, so thats one good hand to...
