Foxconn - K8M890M2MA-R2SH
Review of Foxconn K8M890M2MA-RS2H - motherboard - micro ATX - K8M890 by
spike25
Advantages: Cheap and up to date, Takes new gfx card
Disadvantages: built in graphics are basic
...FOXCONN MOTHERBOARD
The Foxconn K8M890M2MA-R2SH is a really cheap and cheerfull Socket AM2 motherboard. There's only one way that a manufacturer can come up with a motherboard that sells for such a low price, and that's by using every feature that the chipset has to offer without bolting on any extra gadgets.
The chipset in on this board is the VIA K8M890 which includes VIA/S3G DeltaChrome graphics (cheap and nasty) and a VT8237R Plus Southbridge.
There are two DDR2 memory slots so you get dual channel memory support, and if your a gamer and the integrated graphics aren't sufficient you can plug a proper graphics card into the PCI-E x16 slot provided.
There is also a PCI-E x1 slot and two PCI slots. The Southbridge supports RAID 0 or 1 for the pair of SATA connectors and there are four USB 2.0 ports on the I/O panel...

Olympus MJU 770 SW
Review of Olympus µ[MJU:] 770 SW by
ciaomeow
Advantages: water-proof, drop-proof, shock-proof and takes great pictures
Disadvantages: lens in top left corner so wouldn't suit those with huge hands
...I bought this about 8 weeks ago from clickto.co.uk for just over £225 including delivery, and I haven't stopped smiling since it arrived
The olympus MJU 770 SW is a fabulous camera in every way, it's small, light, waterproof, drop proof, and you can stand on it if you so wish as long as you are under 100 kilograms
I bought it to travel with and spent many a happy day snorkelling in hurghada recently, it takes simply stunning underwater shots and I can not recommend it highly enough
the batter life is very reasonable, shot time is quick, display bright and clear in fact the only negative point would only affect those with big hands, sometimes your finger may obscure the lens as it's in the top left corner so you need to be aware of finger placement but apart from that it's a fantastic camera and I can't see me changing mine...

Peugout 307 SW 2.0 diesel 110 bhp 7-seater MPV
Review of Peugeot 307 SW SE 2.0 HDi 5dr by
SaraCadi
Advantages: Great drive, flexibilty of 5-7 seats, economical to run and reliable.
Disadvantages: You don't get offered a 7-seater by insurance companies if your in for accident repairs.
...I have a 307SW hdi 7-seater 2.0 diesel in aluminum ... not silver ... aluminum .. why they can't say silver I don't know ... but what a dream she is to drive. When they say it's the drive of your life they mean it, the engine is so quiet you will not realise you have switched it on, not only that at just a £110 to tax for the year its a bargin. There is loads of room leg and width wise in the front, i'm not the smallest of builds but I can comfortably fit in the drivers side without covering the gear-stick! The passengers seat comes with arm rest and there is again plenty of room to relax and enjoy the drive. The back seat is yet again adequately spaced with the option of moving individual seats back or forwards to suit, child seats fit comfortably and there are seatbelt positioners to aid comfort. The extra seating in the boot...

A winner from Olympus
Review of Olympus µ[MJU:] 1030 SW by
rbell5ciao
Advantages: All weather build, great results
Disadvantages: No remote
...I am planning to do some touring on my cycle and required a camera that not only
was lightweight and weather-proof but also took reasonable quality photos.
I used to take a Leica M4-P with a Summilux 35mm lens on such journeys
It requires no batteries and has been submerged in puddles more than once and survived.
However the cost of roll film is now a becoming drawback.
Digital photography has the main advantage of disposible imagery but the disadvantages of being subject to water damage and
always requiring battery power (when camping the opportunities for recharging are probably zero)
I already have an Olympus E-510 with a 14-54mm zoom lens that produces good quality pics, but is not puddle-proof.
It does use XD cards though so I already had some to use in the 1030SW - No card is supplied with the 1030SW
(These Xd type M...

Magin8tive
Review of M8magazine by
GeoffreyHawkins
Advantages: Good articles, decent cover CD
Disadvantages: No letters section, no product reviews
...After recent bad experiences with other dance music magazines I decided to give M8 a try. I’d purchased this magazine a few times before, but never on a regular basis. It’s a Scottish based magazine, which gives a slightly different view of the current dance scene. It tries to cover all genres of dance, and even covered indie in its earlier days until they gladly ditched it. It follows a similar format to its competition with sections for recent happenings in the industry, articles, a tunes section, club reviews and the usual collection of ads.
First impressions are favourable, although you have to plough through several pages of advertisements just to get to the contents page. Then you have to go through some more! It’s a habit these magazines have created and I can’t say I appreciate it very much...

Peugeot 207 1.4 8v 75bhp M:Play Special Edition
Review of Peugeot 207 1.4 m:play Hatchback by
andys87
Advantages: Sports Styling, Sports Seats, Spacious, Bigger Boot Than 206
Disadvantages: Sluggish on Motorways, Dont expect to leave a lot of cars behind at the Lights.
...I have a M:Play 2008 Model Peugeot 207. From new these cars are very nice to drive. Nice and spacious, Smooth acceleration, Smooth gearbox. Air Con is standard, White Dials (same as on GT Model) as standard
The Price was good as with some haggling you can get one for £9500 brand new.
Nice, fun drive around town. Motorways bit boring as not enough power to accelerate from 60-70+ in 5th gear quickly.
Fuel economy is very good. Ive done 5000 miles mostly town driving and my avg MPG is 35.2MPG.
Approx £45 will fill this car up with 95 Unleaded and will do good for 300+ Miles.
Advantages: Sports looks, Sport Seats, Spacious, Feels like a bigger car.
Disadvantages: 1.4 8V 75BHP Engine is pretty weak on pulling although 0-60 in about 15secs is good enough. No options for additional parts or products available at factory...

206 SW - eye catching 206 styling,
Review of Peugeot 206 SW Estate by
exup35
Advantages: more space than a standard 206, looks
Disadvantages: spare wheel, noise from rear windows, inconsistent pefrormance
...This is the second 206 SW we have had since new, and the third 206 in total. This was my partners choice of car as I was mainly on the motorbike and she would be using it the most.
With the arrival of our child the standard 206 wasn't quite big enough for the luggage, so we went for the SW version (1.4 engine). Despite what the press say, the boot is alot bigger than the standard 206. there is no parcel shelf to remove, just a retractable blind which draws across the boot space if you don't fill it to the roof.
The first model we had was ta Agean Blue 1.4 Entice, which had the CD player, electric windows (front) and power steering. The 2nd SW was the Silver Verve 1.4. This had everything the Entice had, but also included alloy wheels, air conditioning and an internal central locking/ deadlocking system.
Driving the car is pretty...

307 SW 2.0 HDI
Review of Peugeot 307 2.0 HDi by
invisigothh
Advantages: Lots of toys, the SW version I have has a nice sun roof
Disadvantages: economy, falling to bits
...The 307SW seemed like the perfect rep car combined with weekend kite buggy vehicle.
I am a shallow person and the things that attracted me to the 307SW were as follows:
loverly big glass roof ( handy as you can watch the clouds whilst waiting for the RAC to tow you back to the dealer)
Kick ass stereo ( multichanger in dash which has jammed twice)
nice dark interior ( does not show the sand from the beach)
GPS sat nav ( again handy as you can tell the RAC where you are when you break down)
So you can tell by the tone of this review that the experiance witht he 307sw has not been a happy one, well it gets worse.
The 307 rides like a cart, has the same accseleration as my VW beetle ( 1973) , gives fuel economy in line with a v8 mustang ( 37.9 MPG on a diesel is not on ) is dangerous to drive in the wet...
