...I think knowing how to swim is one of the most important things in life that we need to know. This is not only for safety but for enjoyment too. I enjoy a variety of water sports from swimming to wake boarding and I really want my kids to inherit this love too. Swimming has been really important to us ever since our kids were first born and I have taken them swimming from very early on. In the beginning this was just a little class for babies to get them used to the water and now with two kids my husband and I take them to a public pool on a sunday morning so they can get used to the water. Review of Swim The Fly - Don Calame

I can swim!

Advantages: Cheap, nice colours and most importantly, helps my daughter to swim
Disadvantages: None

...We are currently in the process of trying to teach my 4 year old to swim and one are which we are struggling with is back stroke. I decided to but some sort of floating aid after seeing a swimming class using one at my local swimming baths. I spotted this online at Early Learning Centre and it was currently on their buy 2 get one free promotion for outdoor toys so it gave me an excuse to buy a couple of other items too! The float is really simple in design, it predominantly lilac in colour and has a sandwich effect around the edge (it has a white line all around the edge yet the top of underside of the float is lilac).
