...A chocolate sponge wrapped around a thick chocolate mousse and covered with rippled chocolate which is quite thick in parts (especially on the extreme ends of the roll) and looks exactly like a very chocolatey chocolate swiss roll. Choc'Roll comes in a box with a picture of the contents and Cadbury's Choc'Roll written in large letters over the top of the picture. It is wrapped in cellophane and sealed. The chocolate roll is around 10" in length x approx 3" in diameter (or roughly 30 cms long by 10 cms in diameter) For the sake of research I ripped opened the box and slid the roll out of it's sealed see-through cellophane packet. They're laughing at me, teasing me of my weakness for a savoury snack, then lure me back with their chocolatey goodness... Cadbury Minirolls are something you probably love or hate. Me, I love them. And while I've managed for a number of years to bypass them on Safeway's shelves, thinking "well, they're a bit pricey considering how long they'll last", Costco have now started to stock them. And now I can get 2 x 10 packs for £2.49. There are alternatives, yes. I've tried the Safeway alternatives, and the mini swiss rolls (minus the chocolate coating) that may tempt you in the aisles, but they just aren't the same. ...I remember as a child, my mum would buy a chocolate swiss roll and we thought it was great having a small slice of this as a snack it was one of my favourites. When Cadbury's brought out Mini Rolls it brought back lots of memories for me and this time I could have one all to myself lol. I remember when I first saw them in the Supermarket, I was just about to bypass the cake aisle when I saw a stand promoting Cadbury's Mini Rolls so as the word Cadbury's stood out a mile there was nothing else for it, I just had to go and investigate. There they were in packs of 6 or 10 and the packs were purple foil with the cadbury's logo on it. The sticky Strawberry rolls are individually wrapped swiss rolls filled with succulent strawberry jam and a vanilla flavour filling, which has been covered in the famous Cadbury milk chocolate. The rolls themselves are round with a flat bottom, I suppose designed to stand on party plates and the cake has been rolled and filled with filling hence its name. The sponge is your typical plain sponge and is of very good quality ie does not taste of cardboard unlike some and the strawberry jam works well with it, the creamy vanilla is a bit like the cream you get in walnut whipps which is one way of describing it. The only flaw with mini rolls is that the Cadburys milk chocolate comes off far too easily when eating them, some appear to be crack on the packet and I seem to get half on the floor than in my mouth and if I say break... ...Jaffa cake mini roll. At work when it's someone's birthday they usually bring in cake and goodies for the rest of the staff. Recently someone bought in some Jaffa cake mini rolls. These mini rolls come in a packet of 6. I believe you can also buy packets of 10 too . The individual Jaffa cake mini roll comes in a blue plastic foil wrapping to keep it fresh. The writing on the wrapper is in orange. I opened the wrapper 6 cakes and disclosed a mini Swiss roll all covered in chocolate. I bit into the dark chocolate; it was a good tasting chocolate. It was a very thin layer that cracked when I bit it. I lost a few crumbs of chocolate onto my lap. Inside the chocolate coating was the cake a very pale yellow cake. ...Sweet chocolate mini rolls by Cadbury. Well here I am munching my way through Christmas leftovers. Ok cold turkey is in the freezer and there are only so many cold sprouts one can eat. I discovered we had some Cadbury choc rolls left. The choc rolls came individually wrapped in a pkt of 6 from tesco but can be bought at other supermarkets and food retailers . In a cardbourd tray enclosed in an outer wrapper of Cadbury purple blue with the Cadbury logo on it are 6 individually blue /purple shiny plastic wrapped cylinders. I open the shiny purple blue plastic wrapper I remember when I was a child unrolling them from a foil wrapper, The wrapper keeps the cake fresh. .... You are supposed to apply in circular movements to exfoliate your skin (while obviously avoiding the sensitive skin around your eyes) before leaving it to dry. Like the basic mask, the “10 – 15 mins” is a blatant lie! Prepare to look like a complete wally for about 20 minutes – the effect in enhanced somewhat by the raspberry seeds which make you look like you have horrific spots. Afterwards, my skin felt very smooth, but as I have been using the other version more, I can’t really comment on long term effects. I have used the ordinary version more for the simple reason that that this version smells exactly like swiss roll!
