Advantages: Stylish, fast printing, quality output, good range of functions Disadvantages: A bit noisy, poor manuals
... Introduction
We have three computers in the house, one desktop & two laptops which are used wirelessly. Previously, I had a simple low cost printer connected to the desktop. This was fine but in recent months use of the desktop has declined so it has stood unused most of the time. To print it was a case of transfer document to USB stick, switch on desktop, print from USB stick, switch off desktop. What a pain !!
I decided enough was enough and after researching the market for multi-function wireless devices I decided to purchase the Epson SX515W as it looked good, had all the features I wanted and was a good price.
Installation
The salesman advised me to set it up on the desktop initially as it would be hard wired via USB. If you hear this don't let it put you off. The set-up works fine even if you have a single...

Review of Epson SX515W
Advantages: Lots of features Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...Design
The Canon Powershot SX110 IS is a pretty big camera compared to some on the market. It is around 11cm by 7cm and feels quite large in your hands, although this does make it feel sturdy and strongly built. Despite the size, it fits into your hands rather smoothly and is fairly comfortable to hold. It weighs in at around 300g which is quite heavy but once again makes it feel strong. It is too large to keep it comfortably in your pocket and so the wrist strap comes in handy. (A neck strap would be a nice addition though). I was told you can also purchase a pouch for it to clip on to your belt. You can get to the buttons, pop up flash light and battery space easily and they are all well made and strong. The battery space holds two AA battery's and they are easy to change compared to some cameras which are fiddly or the battery...
Advantages: Great mid-high range speaker Disadvantages: not so good bass
...Introduction
The Electro-voice SX300 PA speaker is an extremely lightweight PA speaker, but still delivers in both sound quality and volume as bigger and heavier speakers. I myself bought these speakers for use as monitors for my music studio, but since then I have used them for discos and other activities at my school, as they are easy to transport. I use these speakers with two EV bass cabinets and power them with two peavey power amplifiers. This rig is amazing for small gigs and vocal announcements in small-medium sized venues.
Construction
The SX300's are made mainly of plastic but they do have metal fixings on them to secure the whole cabinet. The speaker mesh on the SX300 is solid metal, not the cheap bendy stuff, and takes a lot of force to damage it. On one side of the cabinet is a handle, in my opinion it would have...

...The Canon Powershot SX1 IS seems to offer the impossible, read the reviews and it seems image quality is great, the lens has an amazing range of 28-560mm, its image stabilised, its got high quality move mode, ...
Having taken about 500 pictures with it so far I am not that impressed.
Take the camera out of the box charge some batteries add an SD card and see what you have got.
The lens diameter is miniscule when compared to an SLR , nothing unexpected or revolutionary there then, so don't expect superb image quality especially in low light.
Read the manual, er it looks ever so complicated, so lets try taking some pictures as I have already charged a set of batteries.
There is the regulation set of modes, (P,Tv,Av,M,C) plus movie and a set of specials. So lets try Av (aperture priority) and shoot a squirrel in a reasonably well lit...

Review of Canon PowerShot SX1 IS
...I recently recieved a Canon PowerShot SX10 for my birthday, i am very pleased with the quality of this camera. The pictures that it takes are of wonderful quality and you don't have to wait on the delay like alot of those cameras out there.
Ever since i recieved the camera i have started selling my pictures, and have actually been making money for pictures that i take when i'm bored simply because the quality of the pictures are so good. This camera is very sleek and stylish and fits in your hands like a camera should. It is very comfortable to use and i is also very lightweight and portable making it easy to move around with and not get tired of holding in your hands. This camera is extremely worth the money and i would definately say that if you are in the market for a new camera then this is the one for you....
Advantages: Great phone that incorperates many things into one Disadvantages: sometimes hangs and in the camera mode
...The Siemens SX1 is newest phone bought out by Siemens. I will start by telling you what you get with the phone.
You get your usual adapter that comnes with all phones, and the battery, plus about 5 different manuals in 5 languages. in addition these usualls you also earphones that are also the handsfree, a USB cable to link your SX1 with your computer, and a CD ROM with extra games, polyphonic tunes, pictures, screen savers and software for moving files to and from the phone. the conection for the adapter and handsfree are all the same as recent siemens phones which i have used on the M55, and i know that the S55 SL55, also have the same conection.
Before starting the phone needs to be charged, which takes about 3hrs. Then you are ready to go.
As with all phones it has the text message with the predictive T9 format. The unique...

Review of Siemens SX1
Advantages: Fast printing, only four ink cartridges, wireless printing, compact size Disadvantages: No direct CD printing, wireless sometimes hit and miss, loud printing
...I've always quite liked the idea of a wireless printer that everyone in the household can use to print their various documents, so when I saw an offer at PC World for the Epson Stylus SX405 (Wifi Version) on offer for £69.99 and free delivery I decided to take the plunge.
I already had an all-in-one printer/copier/scanner - the Stylus RX640 - but it was quite bulky and space on my desk was limited, so the smaller dimensions of the SX405 appealed to me.
First off, it doesn't actually have inbuilt WiFi; the printer comes with an Edimax print server which you plug in to the USB cable to enable wireless printing. It's quite a small print server but requires it's own power supply which I think is a bit of a disadvantage if you have limited plug space and/or want to cut down on the cables that end up being thrown behind your desk...
Advantages: Beautiful aerodynamic lines, powerful turbo engine, reliable, fast and quiet Disadvantages: A little heavy on fuel, an ideal 2 + 2 but cramped in the rear
...My first experience of driving a Nissan was in Florida in 1992 when I hired a 240SX and was so impressed with its performance that I forgot the lower speed limits and found myself doing 73mph in a 55mph area!
Having paid my fine and enjoyed my holiday, I was determined to buy a similar model on my return to the UK.
Unable to afford a new car, I found a 1989 model which had done around 30,000 miles and in excellent condition. Being something of an enthusiast, I had previously owned a second hand Porsche 924, but the Nissan exceeded all my expectations and in my opinion was superior in nearly every way. I paid £10,000 for the Nissan and it has been excellent value for money. It is fast and cruises smoothly and effortlessly on motorways, but in town it tends to be heavy on petrol consumption. My wife and I use it for long distance driving...
