A desirable cottage ideal for expanding family!
Advantages: a delightful cottage to house your sylvanian figures
Disadvantages: none
...It was my younger daughter's fourth birthday on Saturday and from her grandparents she received this delightful Rose Cottage which is part of the Sylvanian Families range. They had already bought her a little family for Christmas but they didn't have anywhere to live - hence this cottage.
I love the entire Sylvanian families range and I think all of the products are particularly well made with good attention to detail and this cottage is no exception. It is made of a very sturdy plastic but it almost looks like wood. The cottage has two rooms over two floors with a connecting ladder between the two. It has a door and windows that open and close at the front. The back is open though allowing the child full access to play inside it. The cottage has a red roof and has a really lovely cottagey look to it.
It's not a very big house but it...

Excellent family car
Advantages: Comfortable, spaceous, excellent road handling
Disadvantages: Every body drives one!
...I bought my Ford Focus Zetec as I needed a family 5 door car. The zetec is in the higher end of the model range and often as mine does, comes with uprated extras over the base models. My car came with a 'Climate Pack'. This is a combination of air conditioning, heated front windscreen, heated mirrors and heated washer jets. These are excellent features in the winter months and save valueable minutes in a morning defrosting the car.
I personally think the Focus is a sexy looking car, I didn't realise until I bought mine that every other car on the road seems to be a Focus. Not that this bothers me, but if your are after an individual car then the Focus is not for you.
The Ford Focus Zetec model cames with front and rear fog lights and electric headlight levelling, so you can change the height of the beam from the inside whilst...

You'd be in safe hands here!
Advantages: good quality toy
Disadvantages: expensive
...My eldest daughter was recently six and was very excited to open a large wrapped parcel from her grandparents. Inside was this wonderful Sylvanian Familes General Hospital. This was great as the girls already have a number of items from the Sylvanian Families range so this was just adding to the collection!
Before I describe the hospital it's worth just saying a little about the Sylvanian Families range in general. It is based on various different families of very cute small animals and I am always very impressed by the quality of these. Once you have a family or two there are so many houses and furniture sets which you can buy for them so that children can make up lots of lovely adventures for them. You can view the entire range at
www.sylvanianfamilies.com
Anyway back to the general hospital. This is a 'fully equipped' hospital...

Character Treehouse Available For Immediate Vacant Possession
Advantages: Solid construction, minimal assembly, well designed.
Disadvantages: Large footprint. No accessories or dolls included. Cost.
...INTRODUCTION
Last Christmas, my (then) three year old daughter was well and truly spoiled. At that stage, she was an only grandchild, and with Christmas day being held at our house, her grandparents embarked on a slightly embarrassing ?gift? arms race in an attempt to outdo each other and come out with the title of bestest present (and by association ? bestest grandparents). In any event, the biggest box was reserved for the end, and as my daughter happily set about ripping off the packaging for the ?Sylvanian Families Old Oak Hollow Treehouse?, both grandma?s eyed each other up, trying to gauge whether or not they had finished in the winning corner.
Meanwhile, the granddads did what granddad?s do best ? they forgot which side they were supposed to be on and happily mucked in together to construct my daughter?s present. Give...

Landover Discovery - A Family Car?
Advantages: Excellent field of view, great in bad weather, comfy, easy to drive.
Disadvantages: Getting in and out for less able or elderly, short on luggage space when using all 7 seats.
...to North of Inverness and encountered some wicked snow on the way. The Dissy just breezed through it, leaving others in our wake. Our two previous vehicles were both Galaxy's, which also had an elevated driving position, but the Dissy gives a far superior all round viewing position and doesn't get stuck in the mud when towing a caravan! With 3 young children to drive around the Dissy copes great ion the long journeys to grandparents and far flung caravan sights. During last years floods we towed our caravan through some raging torrents along Scotland's West coast, past enormous queues of cars who couldn't get through the water, including several similar types of vehicles that weren't quite up to it.
As childminders we often have a full load of passengers, using the rear jump seats regularly, we find them easy to put up and down, but...

The best caravan park around!
Advantages: Brand new caravans that are well kept.
Disadvantages: As with all caravans a little on the pricey side.
...Apologies in advance, this is long review!
After seeing a report on my local news the other night I thought I would review the one thing that, over the last 5-6 years of my life has been a constant, come rain or shine, recession or boom we have visited and stayed at this particular place as our holiday home of choice.
The particular report I was referring to earlier, was the fact that out of all the poor companies in my local area (I live in the Midlands, we are one of the worst hit areas for redundancy?s), the caravan companies were flourishing.
Now as I have already stated, we (myself, my husband, my two children and various other members of my family, depending who is available on holiday week!), have stayed at this particular caravan site for a while.
The caravan site in question is ?Tomlinsons caravan and leisure park...

Perfect small family car.
Advantages: Comfy. Spacious. Fuel efficient.
Disadvantages: None
...I love my 07 fiesta.
For a small car, the Fiesta is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. We use it for a family of three but on several occasions have packed in 4 adults and a baby in a car seat with no problems. I am about to have my second child and have no desire to change for anything bigger. A double buggy fits happily in the boot, and we regularly go away with a pushchair, travel cot and plenty of luggage without feeling pushed for space.
The fuel consumption is wonderfully low, and the tank surprisigly large. We frequently travel just over 300 miles on one tank costing abut £35.
Visibility is excellent, especially when compared to other small cars I have driven (especially the Vauxhall Corsa). The mirrors are easily adjusted - both from the drivers side. The stereo system is good, and can handily be adjusted to play in just...

Welcome Caravan Park - Dawlish Warren
Advantages: Great place for adults and kids alike
Disadvantages: We have to come home!
...This Caravan Park is in Dawlish Warren, Devon. It is clean, friendly and has excellent entertainment facilities, and entertainment staff.
The beach is a short walk away, is clean and has rock pools for the children to explore.
The site has static caravans and I have stayed in the lower and top range, and all are clean and very modern. There are also chalets which I have never stayed in but look fine.
There is a childrens play area with swings etc, lots of activities day and night for the children and adults alike. There are 3 swimming pools and a bubbling pool to relax in.
There are shops on site and just off site, launderette, hire services and gas and electric are free.
There is plenty of parking space, and there are lots of nearby attractions, e.g. Model Village, Paignton zoo, and you can get discounts on the visits...

Cartwheels at the Caravan in Yazd
Advantages: Plenty of space and surprisingly quiet setting
Disadvantages: Outside the town so you'll need transport to get around
...On a group tour of Iran in 2006 we spent two nights at the Caravan, a large hotel located a few miles outside the ancient desert city of Yazd. The Caravan is close to a large but surprisingly quiet road and takes the form of lots of small white single-storey apartment-style chalets set back from the road and surrounded by gardens. Ciao have done a great job of finding a good photo that shows what these look like. There was nothing else anywhere near the hotel so be aware that once you are there, unless you have transport, there's nothing to see or do nearby.
Pulling off the highway from the airport, the driveway brought us past a large building that housed the reception, the restaurant and other shared facilities and then to the accommodation area. Our tour leader hopped off the bus to go and get the keys whilst we unloaded the bags...
