Review of Olympus m:robe MR-100 5 GB by
Sootica.P.Monster
Advantages: So shiny!
Disadvantages: Chuffing m:trip
..., the battery indicator can be misleading. It has three indicator levels-full, two thirds full, one third full followed by GrraH! No music! Fine you think, that sounds ok. A fairly standard display. It's just a little quirky however... It stays on full for a good long time, the battery life is excellent after all, but as soon as the display dips to two thirds full it goes a bit loopy-in about an hour's time the m:robe's died on you. Sure, you can switch the thing on, but it just laughs, flashing an empty battery symbol at you. The moral is that when you get home you need to charge it even if it says it's full, as it could be teetering on the brink of not-really-full-at-all. Finally the earphone jack sticks in the side of the m:robe rather than the top, which seems rather daft as it gets stuck in my pocket all the time! Ooh I hate that. And that, I'm...

HP M415 Part I An average camera or a great one?
Review of HP PhotoSmart M415 by
callancool
Advantages: Reasonable image quality, In Camera red eye removal,
Disadvantages: Noisy Pictures, Chromatic Abhorrations
...INTRODUCTION
The Photosmart 415 is HP's basic entry level 5 MP camera. It comes equipped with a 3x Optical zoom lens, 6 x digital zoom, a 1.5" TFT screen, a supposed 16 Megabytes of internal memory (more on that later), selectable ISO levels, picture effects, in camera red eye removal, innovative Adaptive lighting system and 8 (so HP claim) shooting modes. As a standalone unit it's virtually identical to it's big brother the M417 apart from the smaller LCD, 1x less on the digital zoom, and lack of a burst mode, and as such it's not available in many shops or online stores. HP is selling through their online partner store Insight for the supposed price of £90 (actually £91.99) which, after Arfur Daley's favourite tipple has been added, works out at £108.09, a remarkably cheap price for a branded 5 Megapixel snapper...

5 Reasons Y I'm Certain I'm Exceptionally Normal
Review of 5 reasons why I think I'm strange by
29th_Candidate
Advantages: I perfectly blend in with any crowd, whilst everybody else present sticks out like a sore thumb...
Disadvantages: I'm the only normal person I've ever met, so there's never anybody around with whom I can swap normalcy war stories......
....
FOR "P" & "F" PREFERRING PREFACE-PERUSERS
In the five-plus periphrastically-phrased paragraphs that follow, I proceed to proffer five profoundly persuasive pieces of proof that profile my proportionately-perfect profusion of plainness....
Okay folks, let's count'em down...
• • • • • NUMBER 5: YOUR ACTIONS & PRIVATE THOUGHTS INDICATE I'M EXCEPTIONALLY NORMAL
Ciaosters, how many times a day do you stop by my index page and muse to yourself:
"That 29th, he's so well-adjusted and down to earth; so delightfully even-keeled... He's the very paragon of normalistic normalcy and normalicious normalitude set to normaliferousness; ...the embodiment of commonplace ordinariness, the epitome of balanced regularity, a portrait of plainness, stability personified, the typification of typicality, ...He's like a generic, non...

M200
Review of Toshiba Portege M200 - Pentium M 755 2 GHz - 12.1" TFT by
mudmank
Advantages: Overall quality, specification.
Disadvantages: I cant think of any.
...Basic overview:
The portege m200 is a nifty little item. you can use it as a normal laptop but also have the ability to swivel the screen round and make it lie flat like a tablet.
it comes with a tablet pen so you can write on the screen whenever.
I will say that in this review i am going to give my opinion and what i have experienced, i am not going to list all its features, just things that i love and the not so good parts.
first of all, it is a well rounded machine, i can play call of duty 2 on it which is impressive, my 2ghz celeron desktop had problems running that.
the graphics card will not dissapoint, and the 2GHZ centrino is a blessing, i can do lots on the laptop and not experience any problems.
I was dissapointed by the fact it came with no internal drives, mine came with an external USB floppy drive but i am...

Amanda_Fowler1
Advantages: Get to know me
Disadvantages: YOU MUST DO THIS YOURSELF
...didn't get a birthday cake last year :*(
04. Hair colour:
Red with black underneath (usually with brown roots too)
05. Tattoos:
I have a Japanese symbol saying woman on my shoulder which was a present from Steve for our first year together (he has one saying man), and a black panther surrounded by Celtic knots on my back. I'm going to get another one when my baby is born saying his/her name.
06. How much do you love your job on a scale of 0-5:
3 I like my job but I'd rather not work. Its annoying working and having people say "You shouldn't be doing that in your condition" every 5 minutes.
07. Favourite colour:
PURPLE!
08. Home County:
I was born in Dumbartonshire (before Argyll and Bute took over) but now my home is in Gwent

Super siemens M35.
Review of Siemens M35 by
Poison
Advantages: Variety of different functions
Disadvantages: Can't recieve logos or melodies.
...you can also give certain numbers calling faces or symbols, these are little animation that appear when the person is phoning you.
Hopefully I've said everything there is to say about this phone because it really is a brilliant phone and it only cost me £69.99. Apart from not being able to recieve logos or melodies, it does everything I need it to do and as I'm a bit of a Klutz I'm always dropping my phone and due to its shock resistance it hasn't broke yet....

Art work in jewellery by M Frey
Review of M Frey (Shop) by
1234
Advantages: The work is so unique that worth to give your wife or husband, girlfriend or boyfriend as a gift, or even buy for your own pleasure.
Disadvantages: there is only one shop in London
...Jewellery is always a welcome subject in my life; I am quite interested about it, not so much for its value but as an object of art.
I do not usually go so much for modern design even knowing that there are beautiful things. I am a romantic person and therefore jewellery to me has to have a unique meaning.
I would like to introduce to you, M.Frey, where you can purchase
pure art work in jewellery and each piece is absolutely authentic
and in fine gold décor inspired by an era in the history.
The collection has a variety of jewellery and for each one you can define with absolute sure from what era they “come from”. The magic of Ancient Egypt with lots of Symbols: Scarab, Lotus Flower, Papyrus, Mythological, and so on.
If you would like to request a catalogue from M.Frey, please go to:

M is magnificent
Review of M (Special Edition) (Subtitled) by
jovichick123
Advantages: Classic film
Disadvantages: None
...search and is tried in a kangaroo court.
The film was released in Germany in 1931. Originally called Murderers Among Us, the title was changed to M because the Nazis believed it was a reference to themselves. It was one of the first films to employ the use of sound and although all it is subtitled (language is German) and is in black and white, Fritz Lang uses dialogue and sound effects sparingly to create the atmosphere required. The film was actually banned after the Nazi's came to power and Peter Lorre's depiction of a child murderer was used in propaganda films against the Jews. Ironically, Peter Lorre was Hitler's favourite actor!
There is no gore or violence actually seen in the film. Everything is implied through the use of symbolism or sound. It is however, a very creepy film. The main character, Hans Beckert (Peter Lorre...

Before He Went Bonkers
Review of Love Symbol - Prince by
waynehorrigan
Advantages: Great music; inspired writing; kept up with the times nicely
Disadvantages: Couple of stinking ballads - he didn't wanna do that!
...WHO'S THIS THEN?
-----------------------------
It's Prince, born Prince Rogers Nelson, in Minneapolis 46 years ago is a very talented singer/multi-instrumentalist (with the emphasis on "mentalist"). A master of rock, funk, pop and soul, his most famous record is probably "Kiss".
Between 1983 and 1993 he released one album every year until his record company took more control of his work and asked him to slow down his work-rate and spend more time on promotion.
He responded by changing his name to an unintelligible symbol, writing the word "slave" on his cheek and actively not promoting his work.
He returned this year with the fine Musicology album.
WHAT'S THIS ALBUM ALL ABOUT?
-------------------------------------------------
This was released in 1992 at the beginning of Prince's decline. As above, he'd released one...

Cat Square Squiggle God-symbol
Review of Everything that starts with H ... by
frkurt
Advantages: Interesting subject
Disadvantages: None, really
..., but actually very few, and others are sound-meaning symbols). Collier and Manley introduce a transliteration system to ease your way into pronunciation (and pronunciation is very sketchy, given the fact there are no recordings from ancient Egypt). Symbols can vary occasionally for sound, meaning, and determinative value.
The pattern of hieroglyphs is also variable. Generally, you always want to 'read into the face', i.e., the picto-glyphs will be facing the direction from which to start -- more often right to left than left to right, and columns go top to bottom. There are no punctuation marks and no word breaks -- this can make meanings hard to decipher.
Consider the example:
IAMNOWHERE
which could be broken into
I AM NOW HERE
or
I AM NOWHERE
and in this case, context might not help provide which meaning is the true one. Or perhaps...
