...BT synergy 4500 is a nice cordless phone with a lot of features. Actually I think that the laws of diminishing returns has caught up with me with the ordinary mobile phones so I have to this time give another phone brand a try so on doing so I bought this. it also has a great feature that is an answering machine without display of calling numbers and also the presence of loud speakers. ...We've had an answerphone at home for most of the last twenty years and so when our BT Response 123 plus stopped deleting messages I thought it was time to replace it. Off I went to Tesco where I found amongst the array of phones on offer a BT Synergy 4500 and at £59.99 it looked to be a decent deal. Most of the other phones appeared to come in 2's or 3's and I immediately thought "too confusing for me". The Synergy though, was a piece of cake to install - plug into the wall and plug in the connector and the phone was working. The only problem was that the instructions said "charge the battery for 24 hours before using" and so I had to disconnect the line whilst the battery charged. ...I found the synergy phone faulty when I discovered that there was no loudspeaker and display of calling number so I got a bit disappointed. I wonder on how I could spend my £60 on a phone that lacked these vital features but that was quite silly on me to purchase some thing without knowing the vital features. Isn't it better for me splash 60 doe on a normal mobile phone of nokia and Sony Eriksson phones? But I wonder if I could get such phones at that amount. ...I bought myself a brand spanking new Trek 4500 2004 edition as a foot into the door of mountain biking. Since purchasing the bike I been out on regular offroad expeditions (some of which have punished the bike quite hard, in the lakes & peaks) and my 4500 has stood up very nicely. The groupset is all good quality stuff, deore rear mech & shifters, Alivio front mech - all Mega 9 drivetrain (i.e. 27 gears). The brakes are competent, ok promax affairs however the real problem is the fork. The supplied ROCKSHOX Judy TT is a spring/elastomer fork and whilst its fine for tow path riding and light mountain-biking it really does lack on technical downhill sections. The pre-load adjuster does next to nothing and travel is sticky and unpredictable. However it is better than no fork at all and you can always upgrade! Pretty much all... Read review

...I have owned my Synergie from new. It is now 6 years old with 85,000 miles on the clock. We are carers with a large family so the 7 seats and spacious interior are a godsend. It was relatively expensive when new but has repaid me faithfully over the years with its unfailing reliability. There are 2 fixed seats at the front and 5 removeable seats in the rear. I can remove the 5 seats in 90 seconds and replace them in the same amount of time. I have transported fridges, wardrobes etc many times. This car is a real workhorse. The engine is a quiet 1900cc diesel engine which gives me about 35 miles to the gallon. I think that is reasonable for a big heavy vehicle. The engine space makes normal 'driver maintenance' easy.
