Advantages: An unusual texture, nicely flavoured, cheap
Disadvantages: Oddly flavourless raisins

...a slab of biscuit off. Now you're probably thinking this sounds awful but it doesn't. It has a unique texture, as you chew it'll crumble into pieces and then melt into nothing. Lovely. But does the cookie live up to it's apple strudel promise? The first thing I notice is too many raisins. The thing is they aren't too bad, I can't really *taste* raisin so I can live with the irritating feel of them in my mouth - I've got through experiences with worse things in my mouth unscathed so a few raisins aren't going to faze me! The taste of apple is fairly strong in a synthetic kinda way, again not unpleasant but you can just tell it's not 'proper' apple flavouring. I get the feeling that the flavourless raisins are there to fool you into thinking you're chewing on apple pieces (which you're not) in the way strawberry flavoured cranberries...

CREAMY, DREAMY, SYNTHETIC SLOP

Advantages: Excellent value for size of meal
Disadvantages: Smells bad

...to the flavour (despite being slightly fatty). The sauce is creamy and slightly cheesy and the rice is perfectly cooked too. The sauce has a relatively light taste – it isn’t over spiced. That aside, after a while, I found the taste rather sickly – and quite synthetic. It also leaves a very strange smell in the kitchen when it has been cooked, and on one occasion I found this rather nauseous. I would say that this risotto is definitely not as nice as the M & S variety. 5/10 VERSATILITY The pack size is relatively generous – although I assumed the dish was for one, I would say that the 450g pack would contain enough for two to share, especially if accompanied with crusty bread. ...One very good gear Oil i have found is this Castrol SMX-S which is a version of the the SMX, the oil is widely available, from all good motor accesory shops, and although it is an expensive option, the gearshift is improved and is reputed to extend the life of your gearbox. This is sometimes sold as a "Race Lubricant" although this is perhaps more to do with marketing rather than specific recommendation. I call it gearbox oil, but the latest "Buzzword" seems to be "Manual Transmission fluid" Spec - Synthetic gearbox oil, SAE 75W 80 API GL1 - GL4 Normally sold in one litre plastic bottles for topping up, although bigger drums are available, mainly for the trade. Is it real? - it's synthetic

Disadvantages: Not good if you don't like the wailing vocal effects.

I can imagine it's not everyone's cup of tea - it's not punk and it's not pop! It IS a wonderful reflection of the film itself which can instantly confure up strong emotions and relieve stressed minds. I used to listen to this at bedtime with my headphones on and wake up in the morning with them still on! Music like this is a rare find. Vangelis has consistantly given his best and thought carefully about each track. It is electronic to a certain degree but Vangelis has given life to the sounds so that they don't sound synthetic even though they are! Something that is a real talent. Low cal synthetic flavoured things.... not great.

Disadvantages: Otherwise just another rubbish processed snack

...I'm not that big a fan of crisps and similar processed snacks, but I got these as part of a "Meal Deal" at Boots. I should have got a Mars bar instead. This is a review of the chicken flavour version. These are low in calories, but you can kind of taste that they're a rice snack that's been grossly overseasoned in an attempt to cover the blandness. Unfortunately, they're way too overflavoured and salty. For a snack aimed at the "adult" market, the loud in-your-face synthetic flavour reminded me more of kids stuff, like Monster Munch(!), not least in the way it leaves your mouth feeling funny after eating about half the bag. Bear in mind I'm one of those people who actually like Pot Noodle (albeit as a junk-food snack). A ready salted version (with less salt) might have been better, if on the bland side. Advantages: good sound quality, look good, light on your head
Disadvantages: gets uncomfortable after a long time of wearing them

...My first thought when i saw these was wow, the design, price and sound quality made sure i didn`t regret purchasing these. Found them for £18 if you really look around. Used them to replace my ipod standard headphones and the difference in sound quality is really noticible. Was torn between these and the icon also by skullcandy and really glad i chose these. Comfortable to wear, sound is top quality for such a low price when many other brands are into the hundreds on pounds. And ultimately look good even when just worn around the neck. Only have one problem, if worn for a long period of time i found, due to the synthetic material used as cusions, that my ears felt a little sweaty, easy to fix just lift them off for a few seconds and i was good to go again.
