A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online
Disadvantages: Small Gamelist Thus Far and Some Games Suffer From Framerate and Graphical Pop-Up Issues

...Sony's Playstation 3 is thier third go around in the Video Game business. My console reviews usually consist of reviews in the following categories Controller, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library. Much like the Xbox 360, i'll also be reviewing the Design of the PS3. The design of the PS3 is the more classy of the three new consoles. The PS3 is a black square system with a curved top. While the design is beautiful, this system is very big, matching the 360 in terms of size. The system also offers Blu-ray but, in my opinion, that should not be the only reason you should be spending $400-500 on this system. Bose SoundDock Digital Music System Review

Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive

...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Silvercross 3D pram system, has a few annoying features

Advantages: Folds small, not too heavy to lift, full raincover
Disadvantages: shopping basket inaccessable, wheels slide, child can only face forwards, straps are too short

...I rushed in and bought the Silvercross 3D pram system as it was offered to me second hand but was basically brand new and I really wish now that I had done some research and shopped about first before jumping in for the bargain. PRAM MODE The pram part is an extra section that sits onto the pushchair section, it fits well and looked very comfy and cosy for my new baby. There is a pocket in the bottom of the pram part to hold small items (purse, mobile, keys etc) although if you have the apron on (which I always did) then you cant access it without taking the entire apron off first. The pram section is also fairly small, I found that I had to move my baby into the pushchair by 5 months as she was too big for the pram, however she looked tiny and out of place in the pushchair. PS3 slim

Advantages: Blu-ray, free online, nice extras like vidzone & iplayer. Almost silent operation
Disadvantages: Rubbish controller, still expensive, online nowhere near as good as xbox live

...Well, had the slim for a few weeks now (my 1st ever playstation), personally, I'm a little underwhelmed by it, I've been a gamer since the nintendo game & watch days & owned @ least 1 of the current gen consoles since the Mega Drive(Genesis). Graphically the system has the potential to wipe the floor with the 360, but this is really only going to apply to PS3 exclusives as any software house making a multi-platform game is going to be as cost effective (lazy) as possible & use the same graphics on all the games where possible(ok, they need to dumb them down for the Wii). My problem here is that I have yet to get a game for it that runs in 1080P, they all seem to be in 720P! Why???? I'm sure they are out there, but I haven't found one yet. I guess this is down to most HD tv's being HD ready rather than Full HD. Sound-Yeah, ok...

...I have been umming and arring over which colsole to buy, the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I had heard a lot of positive things about the Xbox, and I had also heard that graphics wise and gaming wise the Xbox was slightly better than the Playstation 3. The Great PS3

...piece of kit and I continually find new features every day. eg using your Blue Tooth mobile phone headset to speak and listen to other gamers or speak with friends. I have had a problem though. I had to have a new one sent to me though as the Blu Ray Reader stopped working, this must have been a drive problem. The service of the team was great. They sent me a new one within 3 days no problems reported since and that was 3 months ago. Shame it happened though. The internet facility is useful ie going into Utube and showing some 'Weird Al' on the big TV is hilarious. However, if you plan to use the PS3 as the main Internet service I would strongly reccommend a wireless keyboard and mouse. Brilliant system....

...I got one last year for Christmas and found it to be better than my XBox 360 in almost every area, in my opinion this truly is the best games console on the market and would recommend it to anyone who is into their gaming. ...There are probably 3 categories of consumer: (1) Gamers with a HD TV who are also quite interested in the multimedia/blue ray angle. (2) Serious gamers either without a HD TV or who are not interested in high def for films etc.. (3) HD TV/ multimedia people who are not that interested in games. If you are in (1) or (3) categories then this is a bargain at the moment. One of the cheapest/best blue ray players with constant support. Now upscales dvds and supports divx etc..
