T0715 for Epson printers

Advantages: cheaper to buy 4 but can also buy singly
Disadvantages: you have to look around for the cheapest as prices do vary

...The inks are Black T0711 Cyan T0712 Magenta T0713 Yellow T0714 Each pack comes in a vacuum wrapping and it is worth to not open until you need it. To use you just pull off the yellow strip and just drop it into your printer. It really is as simple as that. Instructions do say to shake the ink cartridge 4 or 5 times before putting it in but I have forgotten to do that and panic stations, but it made absolutely no difference that I could see but perhaps I was just lucky. These cartridges cannot be refilled and I have not yet seen any recycling place that it happy to receive them - probably just because they cannot be refilled. How long do they last? No cheating with this Epson Cheetah!

Advantages: Clear colours
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

I make cards for a hobby and print a lot of sheets for decoupage on Photo paper plus photographs for Scrapbooking which is another hobby, our printer is in use nearly everyday and whether I use ordinary paper, card or photo paper the results have always been excellent. Quote from the Epson website "Epson DURABrite Ultra ink gives simply perfect prints, whatever you're printing. Each ink particle is coated in resin, making it water-, smudge- and fade-resistant." I have to agree that newly printed photos have never smudged and so far nothing has faded. I am very pleased with the result and we get a lot of pages printed before replacing, unfortunately I can't say how many as it varies with what I'm printing. ...***INTRO*** I bought my Epson stylus CX3200 3 in 1 about 1 year ago because I really needed a scanner with photocopying facilities (see my review). The inks are expensive £20 for a replacement is not unusual. Surprisingly the colour (T041) is more expensive than black (T040). I used the photocopying facility a little too much and now my black ink cartridge is dry. Something to watch for. The colour cartridge/inkjet uses a combination of 3 colours, yellow, cyan, magenta QuickDry ink and is ideal for photo colour from a digital camera or scanner. ***USE*** The CX3200 comes with an instruction manual and advice on how to use the cartridges. Makes My Stylus, Stylish!

Advantages: last long, can be bought from many electrical shops, uses Durabrite ultra Ink
Disadvantages: a bit expensive when outght as a multi pack

...We just recently bought a new Epson stylus DX7400 printer as our old one stopped printing for some reason. Our new printer takes the T series Epson ink. To make everything a bit easier we just bought a T0715 multi pack ink package which comes with four ink cartridges. The T0715 can also be used with other Epson stylus models including the DX4450, DX4000, DX9400F, DX4050 etc. The Epson T0715 will come with four colour ink cartridges. This includes the T0711 which is the black ink, T0712 which is the cyan colour, T0713 which is the magenta colour and T0714 which is the yellow colour. The Epson T0715 multi pack is rather expensive as we bought it for £29.99 in PC world, I guess its not that expensive if you divide that by four, as it will work out to be around £7.50 per cartridge, which I think is not too bad considering the quality...

...are rattles and squeaks from time to time which I was slightly disappointed with. The car feels well planted on the road and accellerates well up to any speed necessary on our roads. The accelleration is so good in fact that when kicking down the front wheels often spin. This was rectified by fitting expensive tyres to the front wheels. On reflection, I would have spent the extra on buying the T5 version of the car as this returns roughly the same MPG rating but it also around 50 horsepower more powerful. Servicing costs as expected were very high but on a car like this it is no surprise. One thing which I was not expecting however was the fuel consumption, on average I get around 23MPG combined but this can fall to around 20MPG if I accellerate hard during the journey. Genuine Epson Ink Black T0481 better or not

Advantages: great photo quality & long print run
Disadvantages: expensive

...Usually I get through printers like hoovers, every 3 months or so but I must say I have been using an Epson R series printer for the last 4 years and would be looking to replace with another epsom. The quality of print is in many respects down to the printer but if you put cheap ink into the printer then it doesn't matter how great your printer is the result will be poor especially for photo quality. I use both genuine epson ink including the T0481, plus cheaper alternatives and the end result varies tremendously. I have found the depth & vividness of the genuine T0481 not only superior to cheaper immitations but more so the effect it has on different types of media. Gives excellent colour & staying power across the entire range copy-high gloss photo paper. The T0481 is a decent size which lasts quite a while, printing...
