After lots of research, I considered getting the IUD fitted was the best option for myself. Whilst condoms are great, (and obviously everyone should use them if you are not in a stable monogamous relationship) I do find them inconvenient. It's a common complaint from men, that condoms lessen the sensitivity - well, it lessons this woman's sensitivity also! THE NOVA T 380 This consists of a T shaped frame, about the length of a matchstick, made from polyethylene plastic around which fine copper wire with a silver core is wrapped thus taking bling to a new level! At the end are two fine nylon strings which are used to check it's in the right place and are used when you want it removed. The 380 refers to the 380mm2 surface area of the copper wire. There are many types of IUD on the market but if you get one on the NHS this is the only kind on offer. Not sure why! What's good to know is that it's the newest generation of IUDs and much smaller than the Paragard model they use in the States. As near perfection as contraception gets

Advantages: 99.4% effective, doesn't interfere with sex or hormones, lasts 5 years, practically no hassle
Disadvantages: Tends to make periods a bit longer, heavier and/or more painful

About 5 years ago i had the Mirena coil fitted and did not get on with it at all basically it made me very spotty and moody and it also dislodged and i fell pregnant and lost the baby (so when i was looking in to contraception the Mirena was not a choice). Advantages: No hormones, less pain

Well I won't bore you with all the details of my contraceptive history but let's just say I've tried most things and nothing works, I've been on various different contraceptive pills which all had their side effects, I couldn't have a cap fitted due to my partners latex allergy, we are in a long term relationship and condoms really do not work for us, so upon our 3rd visit to the family planning clinic they decided there was nothing left for me to try apart from the coil, and due to other medical reasons I am now no longer aloud hormonal contraceptive so a Nova T 380 which is non hormonal was my last chance at finding something that would solve all my problems. Flymo 380 - Not So Flymo

Disadvantages: Poor grass collection, poor cutting height

...Flymo Vision Compact 380 I have never owned a flymo but after moving house and inheriting a lawn which was a little uneven i decided to go for a new flymo as they were recommended for lawns which are a bit more uneven. I bought this model for £120 and found it easy to put together. The handle needed attaching along with the blade on the bottom and the easy reel assembly. Easyreel: This is probably the best thing about this lawnmower. It simply works like a hosepipe reel and simply winds in your cable when finished cutting the garden. A good feature and keeps the cable neat, tidy and out of the way. It does make the lawnmower rather heavy when it is would in. Cutting heights: This model is supposed to have adjustable cuting heights from 38mm-12mm. I have this on the lowest setting but must admit that i am very dissappointed...
