Not Worth It
Review of XFX Geforce 7300GS by
Omar788
Advantages: Reliable
Disadvantages: Too slow
...When Nvidia unraveled it's new lower end segment of graphic cards I was eager to purchase one of it's newer products, the 7300gs. I purchased this exact model (XFX) for about £45, at the end of last year. I thought overall it better in gaming than my then video card, the Asus 6200TC.
As soon as I received & tested the thing out, well I was disappointed. The older 6200TC was able to out clock the newer 7300Gs, when overclocked the 6200TC came in at:
520/680
While on the other hand the XFX 7300gs came in at:
560/550
Although the 7300Gs clocked higher than the 6200TC in the core region it didn't clock high enough in the memory region to out perform the older card.
Overall I would have to say if you are considering buying any 7300Gs model, don't. Instead save your money and buy a 7300Gt at the least, you'll get better performance...

Snap It Up
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE CX7300 by
LostWitness
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use
Disadvantages: Basic, unwieldy
...I'm not a photographer or a model. I hate being on either side of the camera and my knowledge of all things photographic is very limited. What I do know is that from time to time, I need to take photos of things - like when I sell things online, for example. I would therefore describe myself as an occasional photographer. As such, initially I decided to buy a cheap, basic digital camera.
Introduction
The EasyShare 7300 is both cheap and basic. The camera currrently retails at around £80 on the high street but can be picked up cheaper than this online. At just under 150g it is extremely light, although its portability is slightly hampered by its size. Compared to other digital cameras on the market, the 7300 is fairly large, although not unwieldy. It feels fairly cheap - the plastic construct has a rather hollow, flimsy feel...

Great Value for Performaance
Review of Inno3D GeForce 7300 GT by
Omar788
Advantages: Quite fast for the price, keeps relatively cool,
Disadvantages: The DDR3 version is faster albeit with lower RAM (128mb)
...Let's say your gamer on a budget and because you are, you probably won't have much to spend on a higher spec gaming card such as the 7900gt or the even topper end, 8800gtx. If that is the case you will want to seek out and buy the most powerful card you can buy with how much money you do have. If you do have apparently £45 or £40 to spend then this might be the card for you, if you don't then be patient as any other model card such as the e.g. 7300gs below this price point will not compare to how much performance you get out of this thing. The 7300gt series does have the necessary "horsepower" to play almost all your old games and also judging from the Lost Planet benchmark it is able play
and sustain a decent frame rate (30fps+).
Before I brought this Video card I had a XFX 7300gs which performed only
a tidbit better than...

Life-Support for your old machine
Review of PNY GeForce 7 7300GT by
sonofsanta
Advantages: Great value now, good memory size; will fit into older machines (AGP); easy to fit
Disadvantages: Still not the most up to date card
...has been the release of Shader Model 3.0, which allows modern GPUs to get more detail and lighting effects out of similar levels of information. Essentially you get more for less, because the cards are cleverer. This is slowly becoming essential for new releases (such as Bioshock). My problem was that most modern cards now use the PCI-Express standard to plug into - and my three year old motherboard only has AGP. There aren't many cards that still use this standard, so a hunt began for an appropriate card.
Some basic research revealed that the nVidia 7/8 series are currently in favour in the gaming world, with the 7 series now fulfilling a budget/value role. Given that my budget was at most £100, I decided to go with these.
The two main competitors in this series are the 7300 and 7600 chipsets, both available in GS and GT flavours...
