...I bought my Ipod Classic around a month ago to basically be able to carry all my albums round with me at all times and have a couple of my favourite movies to hand if I am ever bored. I used to have an Ipod Nano and thought that 2 GB of memory would be plenty for what I needed but soon found that I couldn't fit no way near half of my albums on there and had to cherry pick my favourite songs due to there being not enough space available. Now having 80GB it's surprising how much you can actually fit on it. I currently have around 15 movies, a season of lost and over a 100 albums and am still well under 30GB. It's unbelievable. Unless you would like to put all your movie collection on to your Ipod then I can definitely assure you that an 80GB capacity would more than cover your requirements. Apple Ipod 80GB

Advantages: Big memory, not heavy in weight, long battery life
Disadvantages: None that I can see

...I purchased an Ipod classic and I must say that it is one of the best purchases I have made. It has a massive memory and easy to use with iTunes. Movies, TV programmes, music and photos, everything is on mine and it is so easy to add and take off things you don't require for a while. I have 80GB and I have 600 photos, 520 songs and 60 movies on it and I still have 40GB to go. Absolutely brilliant, my friend has just bought a 160GB and it is so easy to use he doesn't need my instruction to use it for the first time. With a large compacity this is certainly one for all generations and is great if you are travelling because you can take advantage of the long life battery and watch films, tv or listen to music while you travel....

Classic Ipod 80G

Advantages: Looks good, easy to use, good for value.
Disadvantages: Freezes sometimes, repetitive use can hurt hand, screen a bit small.

...I found the Ipod 80G Classic looked good and I paid £157 for it and its been a good companion. I think its easy to use and it does exactly what I wanted. I play videos and TV shows from mine and I find that very useful as it is very good quality. I also use it to put photos on and its easy to show people and when I want to look at my memories. Also I know that my photos are saved on it and recently when my computer failed I found it really useful as I knew I had them on my Ipod. Ipod Classic 80GB

...I decided to buy the Ipod classic so I could use it watch movies for when i went on holiday. First impressions where great, I loved the sleaker new design from the case even to the USB lead. The music quiz is a great improvement from the previouse model it's like a game show. The Ipod is easy to use as always no problems with putting music on there and no problems with movies. The movies themselves are of great quality and handy on long journeys to watch. The battery also lasts a long time if you charge it for long enough when you first get it but I found if you are watching a movie on it then reduce the brightness so the battery lasts that bit longer. Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS -nice little camera

...I am not an expert on digital cameras and this is just the second one I bought. So I cannot really compare the Ixus 80 with other cameras. Nevertheless, I really like it. Looks The Lxus 80 comes in Classic Silver, Caramel, Chocolate and Candy Pink in an aluminium body. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and can be tacken anywhere with no problems. As far as I can say it is very reliable and does brilliant pictures for a normal user. Features It works with 8 megapixels .The 3x zoom works for all the general snapshot moments. It comes with an Image Stabilization (IS moniker) to reduce camera shake. As far as I know this is not standard on all cameras yet, but becomes more normal in newer models. The 80gb ipod classic is by far the best portable music player i've ever had! not only does it look great, you can store up to about 9000 songs on this beast! despite the fact it looks rather big and hefty, its actually quite light and you tend not to notice it in your pocket untill you dip in to find some loose change. the sound quality on it is amazing. you can get all sorts of equalizers for more bass, more treble, etc... to find the perfect sound for the song you are listening to. the only thing i would say is bad about the ipod classic is the touch pad, sometimes this can get stuck or it wont sense your fingers, so it can get abit annoying trying to scan your whole archive of music when youre struggling to get from the a's to z's! The headphones! if you really want to get the best out of your ipod classic then change...

..., so you don't need to order a special very expensive one from Triton. The shower is so powerful,it actually penetrates the shower curtain! The actual flex, which is chrome covered by plastic, seems to be still up to the job after ten years, although I may replace soon, mainly because it has been stained red from hair dye - NO, Not mine! The only other job I have done, was to replace the upstand that the handset fits to, this consists of two plastic fittings, with a length of chrome tube between them. The original seemed to be far too short for my liking, and seeing as I just happened to have a decent length of chrome pipe in the garage, it was a shame not to use it. The original one was less a foot long, but now is over twice the length, which is a little more user friendly, and it looks more professional somehow. These are...

The d80 - getting old but a good camera for competitive price

Advantages: low price, uses SD cards, not as heavy as the higher end dslrs, shoots RAW, inbuilt flash
Disadvantages: noisy at high ISO's/low light conditions

...The nikon d80 is a few years old now and has been replaced by a newer model (the d90). As such it is possible to get a d80 for a very competitive price whilst still maintaining the image quality you desire and expect from a dslr. While the d80 is not a 'top of the range' dslr, and was never designed to be, it is none the less excellent at what it does - the image quality is, generally speaking, very good although in low light conditions images are a little noisier than may be desired when upping the ISO to avoid the use of flash. The d80 also provides the ability to shoot in a number of jpeg quality settings as well as NEF (nikons version of RAW) or NEF+ jpeg fine, which gives the user great versatility.
