...I need a car for my work, we normally lease one through the company but mine had to go back as I had exceeded the mileage limit (120,000 in 4 years, I did 128,000 in 3) There has been a bit of a delay in organising a permanent replacement so I am currently using hire cars through Avis. This review is based on my experience of the Bournemouth branch in Southcote Road, just off the Holdenhurst road. Avis don't like to take the mileage on their cars much over 13,000, so I get the opportunity to change mine on a regular basis and I am always driving a relatively new car. The first car was a Renault Megane Estate, about which I have already written, I am now on a Vauxhall Zafira. Avis Bologna Airport

Disadvantages: Hopeless unwilling staff

.... Needless to say I managed to keep my cool but how I don't know. Oh and to boot according to Avis the car was full of fuel but as soon as I turned on the ignition there was only 6/8. Find a rep again and get him to verify this and change the paperwork. We finally departed the car park much hot and bothered. Never rent a car from Avis again at this airport....

I get very little time to come on Ciao and didn't even know there were 2 guestbooks. I had never looked in the private one. Avis Car Rental - Dublin, Ireland city centre

Advantages: Good selection, availability, location and helpful staff
Disadvantages: Don't let them try and charge you for extra fuel

...I recently hired a car for 4 days from Avis from their Dublin, Ireland, city centre location. I found the Avis website pleasant to navigate and I was not asked for any unreasonable or excessive information. The car selection and availability was good, especially given my short notice and the fact that it's peak season. To Avis's credit they did not charge me any surcharges for renting from a city centre location - people should be alert when hiring a car in Dublin as of some of Avis's big name competitors are charging a 25euro surcharge for hiring anywhere in Dublin city. Location and shop - The Avis city centre location in Dublin is close to the city centre which was ideal for me. Advantages: cheaper to buy 4 but can also buy singly
Disadvantages: you have to look around for the cheapest as prices do vary

...The inks are Black T0711 Cyan T0712 Magenta T0713 Yellow T0714 Each pack comes in a vacuum wrapping and it is worth to not open until you need it. To use you just pull off the yellow strip and just drop it into your printer. It really is as simple as that. Instructions do say to shake the ink cartridge 4 or 5 times before putting it in but I have forgotten to do that and panic stations, but it made absolutely no difference that I could see but perhaps I was just lucky. These cartridges cannot be refilled and I have not yet seen any recycling place that it happy to receive them - probably just because they cannot be refilled. How long do they last? ...BTK I have not seen a good, newly released horror film in sometime, so when I was asked if I wanted to review B.T.K I jumped at the chance, although I made that choice simply by looking at the cover on Amazon, even though I should know that you shouldn?t judge a book (nor a film) by its cover. The film is based upon the real life murderer Dennis L. Rader who was captured in 2005 and sentenced for the murders of 7 women, 1 man and 2 children. B T K stands for Bind, Torture, Kill, for the style he used to killhis victims. This film is a fictional piece and does not represent the crimes that he is actually convicted of.
