Halifax online banking

Advantages: Manage all your financial transactions online
Disadvantages: can't deposit!

...totally lost if I were unable to access my accounts. I live a few miles from the bank and it is a pain getting there and standing in the queues. I visit the site virtually every day. It is also really useful when you are away on holiday abroad and need to make payments at home etc. The only thing I can't do is pay cheques / cash into the account! Now that would be good if I could do that online!...

Littlewoods - online!

Advantages: Free delivery and returns!
Disadvantages: None That I can think of!

...The littlewoods site can be accessed using the address www.littlewoods-online.co.uk. SImple! When the page comes up, ususally a pop up advertisement appears too. Dont immediately close it, as they sometimes have a super special offer, that you dont see anyhwere else.! At the moment it is advertising the sale on branded products!. To use te site you have to be A) a littlewoods customer and B) registered to use the online facility. If you are not just fill in the relevant forms and hey presto! The first page of the website is full of special offers, Top 10 buys of the week etc. To read more about the offers, you just have to simply click in the relevant spot! Easy peasy! The actual design of the site is ok but the colours are so bright and varied that it tends to clash a bit. But never mind, no-ones perfect!! You log in...

Advantages: Saves lots of time

...I have had a current account with the HSBC for many years and have not had any problems or hassles that I can think of, I know that many of you will have had bad experiences for one reason or another but I have not. Eve Online; Thumbs up

Advantages: Lot`s of detail and content in the game
Disadvantages: will take at least a month to even scratch the surface of game play

...I?ve been playing eve for 4 years now, which should give you an idea to how long and how addictive the game can be. I?ll try and summarise what I think are the important things to know; Eve is a MMO (massive multiplayer online) game, you chose and play a character that will inhabit a single universe with anywhere between 10 thousand and 50 thousand other players depending on the time of day. These players will be spread over some 5 thousand solar systems, all linked together though a complex network of stargates. Like real life these people will be diverse in their interests and goals. One of the mixed blessings of eve is that CCP (the game developers) allows for a very flexible environment for people to play; Player cons, griefing and espionage take place on a daily biases, piracy in a real sense can be a legitimate career...

Don't Dominate Online Poker (2disc DVD)

...I brought "Dominate Online Poker" thinking it will be able to improve my game. How wrong could I be?Very Americanised this DVD really fails to deliver on so much of what it promises! Disc one is a brief guide to Texas Hold'em Poker, explaining the very basic's like where to sit and the Blinds e.t.c. As I have been playing for a while I already know this and it was not much help. The presenter does not really know what he's talking about (if he did he wouldn't have to do this DVD for money!) and he keeps mentioning the website over and over which don't even exist! To be frank this DVD is more of a billboard than education and is a complete Joke?Beware. Disc 2 is slightly better, same format but a different presenter and teaches you the ABC of poker, which is good (especially for the beginner). This should be called Dominate Online...
