iPhone

Advantages: Great interface. Excellent Music Clarity.
Disadvantages: Limited Official Apps

...iPhone. The greatest device since GSM was first created? Yes and No. I've had the iPhone for just over 4 months and I have mixed feelings over the device. I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie. The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. I own a HTC Touch aswell and found it much easier to upgrade and customise than the iPhone. While the iPhone has a huge and diverse 3rd party App community you may have to wait a long time until an App you need comes about. However, once they are released you can...

Apple iPhone

Advantages: read review
Disadvantages: read review

...As everyone know, iPhone became really famous after this product got in the store. In a sense, It's a copy of iPod touch, at least, because of the outlook and of course, because of music player. Here is my review about iPhone. Why iPhone is good? Of course iPhone is very famous, because of It's outlook. Of course outlook is great, there is a one big touch sensitive screen and one button, what has only one function - bring you back to "home". You don't need some stick to move menus, It's really easy to surf in menu with your finger. All things functions so coherently, and It's really unfamiliar, example, to use WiFi, you don't have to change any options or retool profiles and you don't have to worry. All things what you haven't done, and you want do continue it later, it always opens from same place and everything is auto...

iPhone

Advantages: Touchscreen, easy to use
Disadvantages: Slightly confusing menus

...Previously had a Samsung, loved it's simplicity and the fact it was flawless. Everything worked, easy to use yet still up to date with technology However, I recently lost the it and was given an iPhone, this phone is way 'cooler' than any phone I have ever had. Apple are taking technology in mobile phones way further than other brands I feel, ok there are flaws but where there are flaws there are exceptions with other cool gadgets that have made me completely forget about comparing it to my previous mobiles. For example, Google Maps, easy to use and very sufficient Internet use, amazing screen quality with touch screen buttons that actually work... really well too! In fact the touch screen buttons is one of the main reasons I recommend this phone, although Sony Erricson and other brands have reached into touchscreen I don't feel any...

iPhone 3G. What a phone!!!!!!

Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!!
Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.

...I have had my iphone for almost a year now and it is easily the best overall mobile phone I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, it is not without its problems, but once you have one of these beauties for a while you will fall in love with it. Apart from the obvious sleek good looks, the iphone has changed the way I do a lot of things in my day to day life. This is helped by Apples brilliant "App store", where you can download a seemingly endless array of applications, some free, and others you have to pay for (although they normally cost less than £1). These range from games to social networking (Facebook etc) to sports to health & Fitness to news etc etc etc. The list seems to go on and on. I have found that since getting my iphone my home pc has barely been used at all. I can use the phone to take photos, although I have to admit...

The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!
Disadvantages: cost and network locking (easily overcome) and ringtones (overcome aswell)

...is fast, smooth, and great fun. My phone is hacked, so i dont have the upgrade yet, but all the applications added are clever, and work excellently. The ringtone buying is a joke, just download the ringtone program and add them for free. The at&t contract will cost you a hell of alot of money over the year, even more in the uk o2 service. I have mine on vodafone because i find them easier than o2. The phone is a little heavy, but very small. It has a 2mp camera which doesnt have a flash, kinda annoying but takes very clear large photos, with the 3.5" screen as you viewer, it brings photos to life. The photo viewer is an awesome application, easily flicking through you photos in their perfect visual beauty. Overall this phone is amazing. The phone part of the iphone is great, not perfect, but stil very good. The ipod...

The best iPod / Phone!

Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
Disadvantages: needs a couple of firmware updates to become the perfect phone

...common that Apple were to launch a phone of some description, and these rumours were put to bed on the 29th June 2007 when Apple announced the iPhone. It was initially launched with a 4GB and 8GB memory, but was also launched into some confusion. The trademark iPhone actually belonged to Cisco. Whilst the details of the settlement were never announced, Cisco allowed Apple to use the term iPhone, which in these days of litagation, could have spelt trouble for the iPhone's launch. It was in London of September 2007 that Apple announced that the iPhone was to be launched in the UK on the 9th of November 2007, along with Germany and France. It would be launched in the UK with O2, Germany with T-Mobile and France with Orange. Various commentators have speculated that O2 could be giving 40% of their revenue from each iPhone customer to Apple, which...

iPhone; Modern day Beauty and the Beast

Advantages: Touch screen, games, web browser, utilites, music, pictures
Disadvantages: Price, can not copy and paste, battery life, camera

...with the little thing you start believing all their propaganda. Touch the little phone icon on the screen and the address book appears, tap the name and the iPhone makes a call, all very simple. Touch the picture icon and your pictures magically appear. The responsiveness of all the functions are extradorninary, my experience with user interface phone which have all these gizmos and effects results in lagging and crashing, but that wasn?t the case with the iPhone. The iPhone is a complete joy to play with and to use as a simple phone. Once you've owned an iPhone it's hard to imagine ever going back to a normal phone. The iPhone is an iPod too of course. The iPhone plays music and video, so you don?t need an iPod anymore. The typical iPhone has 8giga bytes of memory which can hold approx. 2000 songs. Can you current phone do that? Unfortunately...

Iphone- A phone with great features

Advantages: Touchscreen, Many Features, Excellent sound quality
Disadvantages: Lack of Camera quality, Quite slow web browsing, Dirty fingers on your screen

...The iphone was introduced in December 2004 but only briefly and we were all thinking if apple was really going to make an iphone, 3 years late Iphone is out. The so called "Jesus" phone has the most innotive and sleek design we have seen, its beatifully black carved edges and its sleek menu system but "We can't judge the IPHONE from the outside only". The iPhone's curves and geometry make it incredibly comfortable to hold. It fits well in the hand horizontally and vertically. The iPhone features the most attractive display that a phone "for now" can have. To zoom in on a picture you just need to pinch it or slide your fingers both starting from the middle and each finer sliding to one side (to zoom out) is a very original and fun way of zooming in on pictures or even MAPS. To write messages a "pop-up" keyboard appears letting you...

iPhone I like

Advantages: Modern technology, amount of software and number of devices.
Disadvantages: No protective case.

...iPhone finally arrived on the UK market on the 9th November although not with the same amount of media attention it received in the U.S. it was still popularly accepted by the UK market. I bought mine on the 19th November for £269. This seems expensive but you get a digital camera, ipod and phone all rolled in to one with iphone + internet browsing and e-mail capability, also included are elements of a personal organiser (diary and notepad). The main feature of the phone is the touch screen technology which operates everything. Without boring you with technical detail I will tell you what I got from iphone. There are 17 screens (buttons you can push on the face of the camera.) The 4 on the bottom horizontal strip are the phone, e-mail, internet browsing and i-pod. There 13 buttons on top from left to right in 3 rows of 4 +1 are...

iPhone, a technological step backwards.

Advantages: Nice graphical user interface, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Poor camera, no MMS, difficult to replace battery, no 3G, and many more.

...doesn't even allow the recording of video, something that even very basic £50 mobile phones can perform (albeit it with very small VGA cameras). In this day and age, a lot of people like to use MP3's as ringtones....this is simply not possible with the iPhone, and leaves the user having to listen to almost polyphonic ringtones as an alternative. The next flaw is something I realised only by chance. My friend called to advise that he had sent me a picture message, but I hadn't received it. I contacted my service provider, expecting them to send the settings through to me......only to be informed that the iPhone isn't even capable of receiving MMS! When trying to compose a text response, I found it really very difficult to text back on. The lack of physical keyboard can make composing a reply really quite difficult, and I have quite...
