  Surviving Survivor Series...

Advantages: There were a couple of excellent, well paced matches, some good performances
Disadvantages: Many matches not given enough time to grow, some sucky non-wrestlers stealing spotlight

Gavin & Stacey - Series 1

Advantages: A strong British sitcom
Disadvantages: Still has it's odd critic

...Name a decent British sitcom from the last 5 years....now name one that isn't written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant....or David Mitchell and Robert Webb...all you're left with (in my opinion) is a little known sitcom written by Ruth Jones and James Corden that has escalated from a bit-part in the schedule of BBC Three to one of the most loved comedies of recent years - Gavin & Stacey. The story goes of two people who have never met, Gavin (Matthew Horne) and Stacey (Joanna Page), but eventually decide to do so after months of chatting to one another over the phone. A little gem of a series

Advantages: great story lines, good characters, very funny
Disadvantages: pilot episode not good - get passed that and its great!

Advantages: Some OK wrestlers
Disadvantages: Pretty much everything

...Series 2005 was around the same time as John Cena's feud with Kurt Angle was still carrying on for the WWE Championship. I was never a fan of this feud even though I'm a fan of both the wrestlers, would Angle finally be able to take the belt off Cena? Triple H had been taking a break for a while, earlier in the year he had lost the title to Batista and it worked really well to freshen up his character by taking some time off TV. HHH was back though and after his former friend Ric Flair had became a fan favourite, HHH set out to punish him. This feud was very low key in my opinion, even though it did culminate in this Last Man Standing match. Too many gimmick matches like this mean they just lose their effect when they have them. Review of WWE - Survivor Series 2005 (DVD)

Another great series

Advantages: Fantastic episode scripting
Disadvantages: Some episodes in black and white

.... Series 4 of on the Buses contains 13 fantastic episodes and follows the same pattern as the previous two series' with each 25 minute episode telling a different story. Obviously therefore the episodes can be viewed at stand alones but more enjoyment is definitely to be had if they are viewed in chronological order. Unfortunately industrial action at the time of filming this series means that 7 of the 13 episodes only exist in black and white. This does at first make you feel like the series is heading backwards but fortunately this feeling doesn't last for long because the scripting of all the episodes is so fantastic that you soon forget that you are watching them in black and white. CASUALTY SERIES 1

Advantages: good clean entertainment
Disadvantages: makes you feel old

...for what he's been through over the years. Although Duffy did make a brief appearance in the first episode of the new series just started on BBC1. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT? +++++++++++++++++++++++ Yes I would. If you are a fan of Casualty today and like me, can remember it from the start, then these dvd's are for you. I don't remember the storylines, but I do remember some of the characters from the first series. The filming can be bad, the 80's hair and clothes are a laugh. The special effects are minimal and while is a bit of tomato sauce thrown around for good effect, it is nothing compare to what they show today. It's nostalgic and its fun. I hope they release all 20 odd series but I shall have to make room on my dvd bookcase!...

An Awesome Fourth Series

Advantages: Extremely entertaining all the way through

...the hillarious burst a blood vessel Winston. In the mean time, Jack, Victor and Iza are on a bus journey of a lifetime with the loony driver played by Robbie Coltrane. Winston also finds himself having to look after an unruly nephew in an earlier series. The pub isn't the only part of Craiglang which undergoes a slight change in ways as Navid's cornerhshop becomes part of the Spire franchise. He soon finds out that it's more than "Putting the you into produce!" though. In "Who's the Daddy" we also get a unique view back to their younger years where Petey was a tea-totaller and Jack, Victor and Winston were all up to naughtiness. A must have series of Still Game that provides some of the best comedy moments ever....

Advantages: cheaper to buy 4 but can also buy singly
Disadvantages: you have to look around for the cheapest as prices do vary

...The inks are Black T0711 Cyan T0712 Magenta T0713 Yellow T0714 Each pack comes in a vacuum wrapping and it is worth to not open until you need it. To use you just pull off the yellow strip and just drop it into your printer. It really is as simple as that. Instructions do say to shake the ink cartridge 4 or 5 times before putting it in but I have forgotten to do that and panic stations, but it made absolutely no difference that I could see but perhaps I was just lucky. These cartridges cannot be refilled and I have not yet seen any recycling place that it happy to receive them - probably just because they cannot be refilled. How long do they last? Well that is like how long is a piece of string as it really does depend on the amount of printing that you do. The colours are all sharp and good though. Summary It...

...pretty well and seems to have everyone but the MacLeods at his beck and call. Lambert is wooden and luckily takes a back role, as the main role is really taken by Adrian Paul as Duncan. The actor showed with the TV series that he can do the job, but when it is transferred onto the big screen, he flounders a little. I think the majority of the disappointment for me here is in the direction. Doyglas Aarniokoski doesn't really grab the bull by the horns following the bad press of the 2nd and 3rd films of the series, and so needed to go all out on this one. However, he hasn't and this limits his cast and crew somewhat. I'm sure he's not all at fault here, as the producers and writers and whoever else is pulling the strings must also be held accountable, but even the worst plot scripts can be turned around with good direction, and I didn't see...
