...SKY. Overall, I have been very pleased with BT Vision. We had a bronze package with Sports and Children's TV. After our daughter has gone to bed, my husband and I have sat through entire series of The Sopranos, CSI, Grand Designs etc. I catch up on the soaps when doing the tiresome ironing. The kids channel offers loads of programmes for different age groups and you get to select what to watch and without the adverts. I didn't sign up to the film channel but you can select to rent a film for 24hrs (the cost is added to your bill). For me, this is better than trudging down to the video rental shop. One of the biggest disadvantages though is that you have to pay to watch music videos unless you sign up to the music channel. There is no free TMF/MTV etc. The other is that you sometimes have to wait a while for the next series...

BT Vision - wonderful!!

Advantages: On Demand
Disadvantages: Noisy fan

...rebooting the Vision box i.e. holding down the long thing power button on the front of the Vision box for approximately 10 seconds. If this doesn't work then you can unplug the Vision box and/or the Home Hub depending what the problem is and then power them back up again, the Home Hub first (you must wait for the lights to stabilise) then the Vision box. There are other processes to solve problems but I suggest you call the freephone Technical Helpdesk on 0800 111 4567. The remote control is very easy to use as is the navigation of the menu's and programme guide. There are shortcuts on the remote control to the programme guide and the on demand section. Possibly the main disadvantage, for me anyway, is that BT advise you to leave the V-box switched on standby all of the time but the fan is quite noisy. If you do switch the box off, it takes...

Disadvantages: Packages could be a bit more developed (except film) but then it would cost more.

A VISION IN BOREDOM

...been doing some rather 'heavy' reading lately. I can't say that I either enjoyed or hated the book; I think the best description I can give would be that I was disappointed in it. I personally think that one of Nora's greatest strengths in her books are her characters. And I have to admit that her characters in this book are good, they are not archetypes but complete people. Mackensie and Carter are the main characters in 'Vision in White' and receive the most attention I have to say that I was to see a 'romantic hero' who is more normal and not a macho type. Carter is a high school English teacher who challenges his students to wake up and actually learn, he tries to make a difference in the lives of his students. Looking To The Future With Clear Vision. (Vision Express)

Advantages: Make you feel special and ensure you are happy with your eyewear.
