5.11 t-shirt - Hot stuff, but not too cool.

Disadvantages: Uncomforable seams, can be too warm .

...The Tactical Series undergear from 5.11 is designed to be worn under body armour, to keep the wearer cool, dry and comfortable. I purchased a top to use as a base layer when wearing a rucksack. Most of the 5.11 Tactical Series undergear comes in what they call 'muscle mapping' style i.e. tight. As I don't really want a t-shirt 'mapping' my beer-belly, I went for the crew loose fit version, to leave a bit more to the imagination. # 5.11 claim these will keep you cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold - I have found this t-shirt to keep me warm when it is cold and roasting hot when it is warm! In warm or hot weather, I just have to take it off as it is too hot, but in cool/cold weather, it is a brilliant warm base layer. As a new cringe worthy top appears on the shelves another appears in our wardrobes. Why are we so keen on potraying attitude in 1 grammatically challenged sentence? The clothes we wear are becoming more important than the thoughts and beliefs we occupy. I'm in no way bad mouthing fashion, because it is such a huge part of our culture and how we percieve, judge and even idolise people. About a year ago everytime I walked down the street I couldn't help but be confronted by a "Don't Judge A Girl By Her T-Shirt" top.
