Spot on for T Zone spot stick

...I suffer from oily acne prone skin which is what prompted me to write this review. On waking up one Saturday morning with a particulaly bad out break of spots I took myself off to the local high street to see what I could find and this T Zone Spot stick was one of several products I came back with. On getting into town I was faced with a choice of several shops that would possibly stock something I was after. I ruled out Tesco pretty quickly because its one of their small "corner shop" type stores that never ever has what you went in for. I looked round several small independant chemists and didn't find much until I stumbled across Boots. Review of T-Zone Spot Stick

t-zone wipes.

Advantages: Handy size packet
Disadvantages: Smell good.

...I had ran out of the last facial wipes I bought on a buy one get one free offer, so I looked today to see what bargains there was to be had. I came up with these T-Zone shine control cleansing facial wipes. I shall be honest and say that of was because of the price and the fact that they contain t-tree oil. £2.48 I couldn't complain. I have had an under the skin spotty rash down the side of my face for a while and cant get shot of it, mainly because I work in a kitchen and get hot and sweaty, so I am taking these wipes to work with me and using them when I have finished to get rid of the excess grease and grime straight away. Packaging These wipes come in a handy little packet with a resalable lid. If that's what you want to call it, I'm not quite sure how to put it, peel back resalable sticker sounds a better description...

A powerful spot fighter in one little stick!

...I first came across the T-Zone Tea Tree Oil Spot Treatment Stick on one of the Boots bargain trolleys! Even though it makes me feel a bit cheap and tacky, I do tend to get quite a lot of good products and fab bargains from these trolleys - so it's definately worth having a rummage the next time you are in your local Boots! Anyway, when I picked it up I first of all noticed that it was from T-Zone - a brand I had never tried before, but had heard of and the general impression I got is that it's a brand that focuses on tough spots - just what I needed! In the past I have usually paid between £2.99 and £4.99 for them, so I was slightly put off by this £7.99 price tag and decided to look around before parting with any money. The next shop I tried was Body Care. They stocked two different types - a brand I'd never heard of at £1.99 for 6 strips, or T-Zone, which I had heard of, but never tried at £2.99 for 6 strips. This leaves the surrounding skin very dry and a bit flaky, so is probably not a good idea for anyone with very dry skin. It is also not a good idea to overcompensate for this dryness by whacking on a load more moisturiser, as this will just confuse your skin and could produce even more spots. If you happen to have been picking at your zits, don’t put the treatment stick anywhere near them - it will feel as though your face is on fire! Hits the spot

...Recently upon returning home from uni and eating far too many pizzas and drinking far too much coke I had a number of spots erupt from no where on my face :( In dealing with this I took myself down to Boots and purchased their Tea Tree and Witch Hazel double action wand, which I have recently reviewed after the disastrous results. This product seemed to actually cause spots and dry my skin out terribly. Get rid of that oily shine with this one!

Advantages: Skin is mattified and doesn't feel as cloggy or oily.
Disadvantages: Expensive, but it's a high quality product that does last a while even with daily use.

I prefer to buy Clinique products when this offer is running as it's a great way to try out new products. Pore Minimizer - Clinique's 'Pore Minimizer' range is aimed at skin which might have large pores and can quite quite oily or greasy. In my opinion this works well with the anti-blemish range as people who have large pores may often find they have quite blemish prone skin. They have a small range of products aimed at minimising the appearance of pores both outside and in.
