...of the story has been handled sensitively and very well with some nice direction. The war that he was warned of hasn't arrived and it looks like it might not. But he's in for a nasty shock ... Arnie's back. Arnie is again thrust into the role of protector. This time the assasin is a rather tasty looking T-X model which is similar to the morphing T-2000 (?) and with similar abilities but is rather more advanced in the firepower department. That's all I will say about the plot to avoid spoiling the surprises in store. The plot itself is pretty decent for a sci-fi movie and compares well with the original Terminator. Arnie's third outing is more reminiscent of that original where he is not asked to show much emotion and doesn't have much in the way of major dialogue to hurdle over. Advantages: Good graphics,game can sap a lot of time away while you're playing
Disadvantages: City import feature doesn't work that well, no real targets mean a lack of an overall goal

.... There are several disasters that can either happen randomly, or you can select for them to happen, depending on how sadistic you are. The choices are Earthquake, Tornado, Fire, Riot or UFO attack. For some cases, you can steel your city against such disasters, by doing things like earthquake proofing your buildings, or activating the emergency alarm to clear the streets before a UFO or Tornado comes rolling in. When a disaster hits though, make sure you have adequate police and fire coverage, otherwise fires could rage out of control and riots could devastate parts of your city. Advantages: Break The Law Without Going to Jail, Great Gameplay, Superb Graphics

...five minutes. - Damage Modeling: You pick up damage as you careen into buildings, other cars, lightpoles, whatever. And as your car suffers damage, it shows it: the body gets dented, hubcaps fly, your hood gets crumpled and your engine billows smoke. Cool. - Audio: The soundtrack is appropriately funky in the 70's sense and the sound effects (tires screeching, engine roaring, metal folding) draw you in. SUMMARY: This could have been one of my favorite games of all time. And it's a shame it isn't, because all the problems that exist in the game, while formidable, all could have been avoided had the designers simply thought as individuals who would play the game. It's fun to play Starsky&Hutch, but not when you're being chased by T2000.... Read review
