...i bought this computer to replace my desktop which was getting old and slow. it came with Windows XP media center, but they offered a Vista Home Premium upgrade for very cheap which i took. i have now owned this laptop for 1.5 years, and thus i have got around to figure out most of the pros and cons of this computer. looks: the look is not great, but because the laptop was cheap i didn't complain... screen: the screen is quite decent, even though it is not as bright as most of the desktop's LCD screens. Processor: the in built 1.6GHz processor is quite fast and works perfectly fine with various applications open at the same time. Memory: the 1 gb memory that comes with the laptop is not enough to run Windows Vista Home Premium if you use memory intensive applications such as an internet browser, and i have thus upgraded... Advantages: Fast, easy to get on with
Disadvantages: Battery is so poor!

...on the way it works. Never. It is so quick to open and get going, that it doesn't take up any time at all. Everyday, I use it around four hours. This is for the usual entertainment, games, instant messaging, emails, browsing, shopping etc. This laptop manages all of these internet bases tasks with ease. Even the offline features are great quality, and fantastic graphics like other laptops with Windows XP. The time it takes to press on, and to log on, is around 30 seconds, and this Toshiba laptop is hardly slow, but does have it's moments when recieving very big files. This might be because I am always on MSN, chatting at the same time of doing everything anyway. The internet is a great place to be, it is a dangerous place too, and when there is danger, there are risks, and this laptop has everything you need to stay safe on the web. Windows... Read review

It comes with a 15.4 inch LCD screen which gives a beautiful picture - colours are truly amazing. 120gb harddrive, DVD player which supports DVD+-R Double Layer/DVD+-RW, 1gb RAM and is wireless.
