...They are still ?a little bit? old, the good T4 that I may drive sometimes.
To say it exactly ? they are two, one built in 1992, the other in 1994. The older one is the short version (111.000 miles road capacity,) the more recent the long version (45.000 miles road capacity.)
Interior
You can stay comfortably in this car a night without having to pump blood into the extremities at the next morning some hours ? like an insect that slipped freshly of first once a few hours. It?s much easier to stay one night in this car like in a Clio. Its logical, the T4 has got a payload of over 5 cubic meters. Of course, only if the seats are removed. You can transport the old dress cupboard of your grandma, beautiful large metal boxes, mobile toilets or couches. And ? the most important aspect, you van take 7 passengers. The technical...
Advantages: Cheaper than the 42" plasma we were tempted to buy Disadvantages: simply not a Sony
...bought this TV just after we got married, until then we had used a Sony 24", upon unpacking this tv looked aweseome but its first flaw came in the construction of the stand.
Quite simply it is a faff to put together even when following the instructions and I'd say there is a good chance that the tele will not sit true of the fixture once it has been sat into position. The right leg on our is slightly but noticably out. Also the shelves for your DVD or PS2 etc don't fit properly, you walk passed the television purposefully and they fall out meaning you DVD player nearly falls off and the PS2 gets a whack on the head. I'm no idiot when it comes to putting things together so it isn't me at fault. The tele itself is the guide shape and quite simply the stand is extremely poor.
From a performance point of view the set whistles when...

Advantages: Flexibility - park up anywhere and enjoy the view and open the wine! Disadvantages: City parking, small sink, sits around
...I have had my (second) VW T4, high top campervan for 2 1/2 years now, and I love it. It is an outdoor enthusiast's dream accommodation and can be used in all seasons. I have travelled all over the UK & France in mine and my friends and wife's parents have borrowed it and also love it.
You can get VW T4's in their original fixed, low roof state and convert them yourself, as a friend of mine has. I chose to buy one that was already converted, from a small company near the Dartford Tunnel called 'Country Campers'. I went for the high-top version (as opposed to a low roof or bellows roof) because I am tall and for the extra storage space you get at the front and back. A brand new van with a brand new conversion can cost over £30,000. However, I paid £16,000 for a 'T' Reg van with a brand new conversion. You can pick up decent older...
...A good alternative to the VW T4 Westfalia. prices are a little better because most consumers are not aware of this conversion. Internal space is very good whilst the external dimensions appear smaller, like the tardis effect.and will easily fit into garages and multi storey car parks
Make sure it has the independent heater as this was an option when new. The 122bhp diesel with automatic gearbox is the one to go for, but lesser models with petrol are very good value. Sleeping arrangements offer 2 good size beds one being in the elevated roof with a thick mattress. To conclude, this is a good looking camper, only recently beaten by the VW t5 california.
you should buy this camper from a westfalia specialist dealer because heaters/fridges/batteries can be very expensive if broken. I have seen one on campervans4u.com website whilst...
Advantages: Easy to setup, easy to use, good functionality Disadvantages: Strange remote!
...Having just started university, I decided it was time to replace my ageing television. I also thought it would be a good idea to buy one with a built in DVD player as this would save me having to carry a seperate one about and would save on space, even if I had to compromise on quality. Now, bearing in mind that I have just embarked on my university life, I'm not exactly able to go out and buy one of the top of the range models. I'm also remarkably lazy, so I didn't shop around too much before I settled on the Goodmans GTV14T4DVD.
THE BUNDLE
I bought the TV from Tesco, so as you can understand, the package I got was the most basic one (I'm not entirely sure it varies between retailers anyway). Basically only four things come in the box: the TV/DVD combi, an independent arial, remote control and two AA batteries. Not a lot, but...

Review of Goodmans GTV14T4DVD
Advantages: Fast, Comfy, Fast, Cool, Fast Disadvantages: Group 17 insurance, Thirsty
...You probably see a lot of Volvo Estates on the road but next time you see a V40, (the baby one!), check to see if it's a T4. Look for rear roof spoiler, big oval exhaust, trim on each wheel arch and big big big alloys and very low profile tyres. Yes - it's a Volvo and it leaves the factory like that! Probably the easiest way is to look for a big grin on the drivers face!!!
So, what's good about it? To start with we are talking about a fully loaded mobile rocket that will outpace all of the hot hatches plus give a lot of BMW's and Porches a bit of a shock. Golf GTI's, Vectra SRi's - likes to eat one of each for breakfast every morning!
This car is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Apart from the obvious joy of 0-60 in a tad over 7 seconds it tops out at over 140mph and pulls over 100 in 3rd gear (so I'm told :-) .
You get full leather...

Review of Volvo V40 T4
...I've been driving around in my father's VW Caravelle Type 4 800 special for the last few days. The 800 refers to the payload of 800 kgs. It is a 1994 model with 60K on the clock. It has a 1.9 non turbo diesel engine developing a somewhat puny 60 bhp, but more importantly for this type of vehicle, 144 lbs ft of torque.
For a van it doesn't look too bad, with the Volkswagen family look at the front and rounded corners. A large single tailgate, large sliding door and capacious load bay mean it is very practical. This is the first VW Transporter/Caravelle with the engine at the front rather than the rear, which means that the loading level at the tailgate is much lower than previously. Also access to the engine is now through a conventional bonnet which should make things easier come service time.
All the fixtures and fittings are...
Advantages: Great value for money, reliable, looks good, very safe car, loads of gizmos Disadvantages: no rear wash/wipe, no MP3 dock, not brill on MPG, expensive parts
...I have the 4 door saloon from 2002, bought ex-dem at £16,000. List price at the time was £21,000 I think. Mine has done 45,000 miles and has cost little to service and look after, It is a beautiful shade of dark metallic blue. Lovely!
I used to have an E class Mercedes and it hard to move away from a car like that but I couldn't afford another one and mine was getting old and unreliable. The Toyota was the only other car I found with a such a big boot. I can get a big pushchair, a pile of random junk, a week's shopping and baby paraphernalia in it with no problem.
I think it looks great - though the boot does stick out. It is one of the safest cars on the market - it got top marks for in-car passenger and driver safety according to Which (5 stars), though only slightly below average marks for pedestrian safety if you hit one. I...
