My First Xerox.
Review of Xerox DocuPrint M760 by
Michael151256
Advantages: Separate colour reservoirs, good instructions
Disadvantages: No cables
...The Xerox m760 came with my new pc and I expected it to be tacky, cheap, and cheerful but basically not very good. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is an excellent piece of printing machinery. Easy to setup and install, easy to use. As usual there were no cables, these have to be bought separately, but the machine can be connected to either a printer port on your pc or by USB. Drivers were already available through Windows XP so I didn't need the drivers disk supplied with the machine. This might not be the case with earlier versions of Windows so just follow the on screen instructions.
This also applies to installing print cartridges. The cd contains on screen instructions which are very easy to follow, simple and clear. A child could do it. The instruction book is easy to follow and well laid out, exactly what you would...

Digital Cube
Review of Digital Cube I-Station T43 PMP 30 GB by
lucasade1
Advantages: Storage space
Disadvantages: A little too heavy and bulky
.... for a feature packed MP4 player, i think its fine
* the build of the wired remote. a little too 'plasticy'
* the radio is weak, it doesn't pick up or lock on to signals very well at all. still, i'm not going to use it so it doesn't bother me.
* doesn't display the current time. seems a bit odd that it's not included, but it doesn't really make much of a difference.
Those cons for me are minor, except the support from DC, something which i can live with after owning an iRiver for nearly a year.
OVERALL SCORE: 90/100.
The Specs:
The General Model Name i-STATION i2

Top of the range
Review of Acer TravelMate 8104WLMi - Pentium M 760 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
Oridan
Advantages: Fast, Wireless, Bluetooth, Secure, Widescreen
Disadvantages: Low sound quality, Temerature problems(?)
...of this thing gets so hot it sometimes causes the machine to fail when restarting. Note: it has never crashed while i'm using it, only when i restart. Acer gave me a fault log and have asked me to send it back, so i'm guessing that its just my machine. Other than this, no real problems whatsoever!
Conclusion, if you demand the highest performance in gaming, or if for some reason you need to run 30 copies of your word processor and 60 copies of your desktop publisher. This is the machine i would recommend. If you're not quite as eccentric as me then you should probably look at one of the lower models in this series, like the 8101 - which still have great specifications, but are much more affordable.
I've rated Satisfactory Robustness, but my problems could just be a one off. I also rated Needs Improvement for the manual, because i dont...

AMILO M3438G
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO M3438G - Pentium M 760 2 GHz - 17" TFT by
walshy747
Advantages: High performance, Quality 17" screen
Disadvantages: Can get hot quicklly
...Amilo M3438G
This is a great notebook. The Amilo M3438G has a great 17" screen made by NVDIA GeForce Go 6800 and it is amazing. Wheather you want to use the notebook for word processing surfing the web the display is amazing. But the one thing that really makes the display on this laptop stand out is when you are using it for games. When playing a game on this screen not only have you got 17" of pure NVDIA technology but the graphics are breathtaking.
Now the sound is also amazing and very clear. I have never had any problems when using it. Also the headphones quality is also very clear.
The laptop CPU is also amazing and can withstand a lot. You can run several high performing programs and still have very good quality. The speed of the laptop always stuns me.
The laptop also has a wireless modem built into it and can pick...

Good laptops with a few troubles
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook nx8220 - Pentium M 760 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
andycharger
Advantages: Great performance, lots of extras
Disadvantages: Screen brightness, battery failure, hard disk failure
...This is my 2nd Compaq laptop that i have purchased in 4 years. The first one died after a couple of years of constant use and a few knocks and scrapes.
Why I chose the Manufacturer...
Firstly I would add that I am currently replacing all desktops and laptops in my office with HP equipment. Better to have one manufacturer to turn to that lots of different ones. I chose HP (Compaq) because it was a respected and recognised brand and always found their repair and warranty sections easy to deal with.
Anyway, on with the laptop review.
Why I chose this Laptop...
I would class myself as a power user. This is to say that I demand great performance in my job (IT Manager) and i need long battery life for when im stuck in the server room or mobile for hours on end.
The Centrino mobile Pentium M processor delivers this. However, claims...
