HP Pavillion DV 6355
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center dv6355ea Entertainment - Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
PaulineLees
Advantages: Remote, Bright and Sharp Screen, Lightweight, Large Hardrive
Disadvantages: 1GB Ram, Only 3 USB Ports, Webcam Incompatability with Vista
...that the lid slams shut to secure closing.
HP includes 3 USB ports, including an ExpressCard slot and a 5-in-1 card reader.
A remote control is included to allow controlling of power, volume, DVD controls etc allowing you to watch a movie in bed and turn the machine off without getting up. This is a useful feature.
Performance from the Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 with 1GB of RAM is satisfactory, but struggles with Vista\'s aero interface.
The laptop is a compact size, comparible with all 15.4" models meaning its easily transportable.
I paid £699.99 for this product and all in all I am pleased with the Notebook. I would recommend this product to others....

This laptop, like all Toshiba's is a very good looking machine. The casing they describe as onyx but it is dark gunmetal blue, the keyboard and interface area are all in silver giving a quite understated and professional appearance.
It has a TFT screen which is 17.1" widescreen with a resolution of 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) the screen uses a TruBrite display and the images are very bright, crisp and clear.
As you can imagine it isnt small. Its dimensions are (w) 39.9 cm x (d) 28.8 cm x (h) 4.7 cm and it weighs 3...

HP LaserJet 6L, Discontinued Review
Review of HP LaserJet 6L by
mraouf101
Advantages: Compact Size, Durability, Speed
Disadvantages: HP Support, Discontinued...
...-- HP LaserJet 6L in brief
This printer has been working with me from ages. I know its considered a bit old at the moment and the last time I logged to HP website, I found it was discontinued; however its a great printer with great functionalities.
I bough this printer about 4 years ago, when It was a hit in the market and hp was just offering it to the people, I think it was one of the most successful printers to the HP company. Anyway, I am writing this review to the people who liked to work with this printer as I suppose its hard to get one at the moment because its not for sale anymore, and also because there is new models that offer many vast and more functionalities than this printer with a reasonable price. And by the way my model type is C3990A (by the way its a black/white printer for those who dont know).

It sure makes me H.P.!!
Review of HP Original Sauce by
sunworld
Advantages: It makes all food taste scrummy!
Disadvantages: I use too much of it!
.... The slimline trademark bottle was slightly modernised a few years ago and although still in production, is slightly overlooked by its more user-friendly, squeezy-type plastic friend. Although the taste of the sauce from both containers is wonderful, I have to say that it does taste that little bit better from a glass bottle: the liquid is thicker, but with that comes the inevitable problem of actually getting the sauce out! The newer bottles do not have that problem, and despite the drawback being that the sauce is a little thinner, it is invariably easier to use.
HP Sauce is not only used in the UK, but is sold all over the world. The Americans and Canadians like to use it as a marinade for their steaks and barbequed meat and there has not been a country I have travelled to or worked in that didn't have a bottle of HP not far away. Okay, granted...

HP M415 Part I An average camera or a great one?
Review of HP PhotoSmart M415 by
callancool
Advantages: Reasonable image quality, In Camera red eye removal,
Disadvantages: Noisy Pictures, Chromatic Abhorrations
...placed neatly on top. There was quite a lot of documentation with the package. The camera itself was an all plastic construction affair. One professional reviewer stated it felt sold after the batteries had been inserted, and this is definitely the case. The camera was wrapped in a bubble wrap bag, and secured by sticky tape which wasn't security tape that told you it had been opened. The Nimh batteries had some charge in them to last for about a dozen shots before needing to be recharged, meaning the camera could be used straight away. There was no case in the box . The camera will fit nicely in a shirt or jacket inside pocket if it is not in a case, but may be a little long for trouser pockets.
MANUAL
Thankfully, it's a small A6 sized paperback, amounting to 172 pages, which is quite a lot. It states 'HP Photsmart 420 series...

HP.. A more colourful source
Review of HP Deskjet 9800d by
1st2thebar
Advantages: TOP Photo editing and photo printing
Disadvantages: Could go on a diet
...table in a corner of the office to occupy it's function and worthiness. What hasn't been mentioned yet is the automatic 2 sided print option. No fiddly swapping of paper/print as of old is required. If the design of the print job is well formatted on the computer, the A3 format will work a treat. The printing specifications for the HP Deskjet 9800D are:
BLACK 1200 DPI (dots per inch, that is pixel dots) 1200 DPI X 1200 DPI
COLOUR - 4800 DPI X 1200 DPI
- Hiccups -
The printer is susceptical to print out text more slowly than photo's, I'm unable to workout why, but it is well documented. CNET.COM has marked the 9800D series only 6.4/10. A little unfair but they do have their own criteria. Considering that most businesses and individuals would print out text, that is where it is marked down. The size may have an impact as it does...

All in one with a bit of HP Sauce.
Review of HP psc 1210 by
LUNAH_C
Advantages: Front Panel for Quick and Easy use.
Disadvantages: Loves to eat paper.
...Computer. It was one of those package deals where you get the tower, monitor, keyboard mouse, a whole load of software and an HP printer and scanner. For a few months it worked fine then our nightmare began. We spent the next three years constantly on the phone to PC World trying to get the problem sorted. Anyway, the end result was finally them accepting that we had a faulty machine and offering us £900 in vouchers.
So off we went to buy our new computer. In reality we only needed to replace the tower but we decided to also replace the printer and monitor. Having looked at several makes and designs we settled on the HP PSC 1210 as we had not had any problems with our old printer and scanner. The only downside had been the cost of the cartridges. I can't remember the exact price but I believe it was around £40.

The PSC...

HP LJ2550n - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Review of HP Color LaserJet 2500n by
georgewkenny
Advantages: Print Quality - Speed of Printing
Disadvantages: Printer Drivers - Settings - Style (looks terrible) - Consumables
...Well, I have just read Richards review and I cannot disagree more! Richard, you said you hadn't had time to fully determine the total effectiveness of the printer, well now it's a couple of months down the line, come back and let us know what you think!
I work for an IT out sourcing company and we support the IT requirements of many medium to large corporations - one of which had just ordered a range of HP 2500n and HP 3500n printers throughout their UK offices (about 20 offices in total).
We recommended the newer HP range as the company have used the old 4000 series LaserJet for years, and the staff are pretty familiar with them. Upon the first installation of a 2500n last year, we went ahead and popped one onto the network to backup their existing monochrome laser printer.
Because of the large amount of users, we setup...

Another solid performance from HP
Review of HP Deskjet 959c by
pauljm
Advantages: Quiet, fast and great print quality
Disadvantages: Cartridges aren't particularly cheap
...of 6 x 4 photo paper. The main tray holds up to 100 sheets of A4 plain paper, the secondary tray holds about 20 sheets.
The output tray will hold up to 50 sheets, after that point the new sheets will begin to foul on the previous output and can cause jams. Just because you have 100 sheets in the input, don't get carried away!
As is usual in HP's DeskJet's the input and output trays are horizontal and stacked one above the other. While this means that the paper needs to travel through a 180 degree path it also means that both input and output are held flat so there is less danger of curling.
HP claim that the printer will handle up to 200g stock. I have tried it with 180g without problems.
Cartridges
The 595 uses a twin cartridge system (as is usual). The black cartridge has a life of about 1,000 pages and the colour (cyan...

----------------------------------
-Hewlett and Packard > A birth of a computer empire-
HP-- In the beginning the company was unfocused, working on a wide range of electronic products for industry and even agriculture for products to help with US growth coming out of the deep depression. HP soon set their sites purely on high-quality electronic tests that were to shape the new comings of the electronic age. Intially it was measurement equipment. The pairs methodology in solving problems were even evident when their partnership was formalised on January 1, 1939 with a then hefty investment of US $538.00. Hewlett and Packard tossed a coin to decide whether the company they founded would be called Hewlett-Packard or Packard-Hewlett. Packard won the coin toss but named their electronics manufacturing enterprise...
