Cracking ultra-portable laptop for under a grand

Advantages: Fast, great spec, looks good, light
Disadvantages: None so far (only had it a week though)

...I just bought this for £749 from amazon. Delivery was quick and ordering easy (as I usually find with amazon) - this laptop arrived ready to go - I just switched it on! It looks great, is very lightweight and has a lot of welly under the boot! It has an Intel Centrino Duo processor and 2GB ram which I think you need if you are going to run Vista. It has a 160 GB hard drive which seems plenty big enough to me!! It also comes with a multiformat DVD burner so even if you run out on your 160 GB you can always store to DVD. If you want to access a flash card you can just plug yours in and go - it is compatible apparently with SD, MMC MS, MS PRO and XD, but I only have SD which works great, but I obviously can't comment personally on the others. Dell are no doubt the best when it comes to laptops and computers, the only bad thing I can think of about dell, is that you can only buy online. I like the idea of using the 'Antibacterial Nano Silver Technology' if that actually works i think its a brilliant idea! Even though the graphics arent in the upper class section with the 8700m (i would say its more medium high the the 8600m) It still performs well for me, i can play Halo 1 at top settings at top resolution and CoD4 at medium settings with no AA, That suits me fine. I like it how it cane with just one 1gb ram stick as i recently upgraded to 3gb (1gb and 2gb) I heard that this is bad because ddr doesn't benefit because of them not working in sync or something like that but i will take the risk alright and it helps as my graphics is ram hungry with its turbocache.
